Firstly I would say that this cover reminded me so much of 3 Idiots.. Aamir riding the scooter with Madhavan in the centre and Sharman sitting facing backwards.
I really liked the concept how cherishing your good old days can actually help you out from a difficult situation. Raghav who is settled abroad with a job as product manager with VisionTek and a mishap happens with one of their customer and Raghav loses his job.
How a get together with his buddies he finds out the next chapter in his life is worth reading. All the funny incidents with all the friends was so refreshing to read.
I liked it overall.

Follow Just A Girl High On Books for more reviews.

I received a copy of this book as part of the outset review program.

"Our egos are like our shadows. They are always with us, following us. Waiting to become bigger than us. So, we need to be careful that we don't block the light. The light of reason."

Rewind and Play
is the story of Raghav and what he goes through when something unexpected happens in his life. How, from being the poster boy of one of the biggest electronics company, he ends up being a lousy person with no job. With nothing to do, no job to look for, he finds himself hopelessly alone until his friends announce an unexpected get-together. Now on any other occasion, a get-together would have been great. But not today, not now when he has no job, no nothing while those guys would probably be at the top of their worlds.

Yet, he relents and here he was, having a gala time and remembering all the fun that they had had in their college.

The first thing that I have to say about Rewind and Play is that the blurb of the book was so much different than what it really was. For example, when you read the blurb, you instantly think that the Raghav is some arrogant person who thinks he is above everyone else. However, when you read the book you understand that he has had a very bad fall. The blurb doesn't cover this, forcing us to have a bad opinion of him before reading the book. Personally, I think the blurb could have been better written.

Moving on to the story. I'd say that instead of being a complete novel, Rewind and Play is just a bunch of stories from people's college lives. All the fun stories, mind you. That is precisely what 80% of the book is about. Moreover, it was in need of massive editing.

However, I think the idea of the book was great. The end wasn't justified but the idea, that one must not lose hope even after everything is gone, was brilliant and I'm personally very glad that I got to read this book. Of course, it has its pros and cons so I guess, for now, I can live with them.

Rewind and play follows Raghav who is a successful Regional Sales Manager living in New York with his wife and two kids. Everything was going precisely the way he planned for his future. But due to some incident, he got fired from his prestigious job and that was the beginning of all the problems.

During this disappointing times,he received an invitation for a get together with his batchmates. Raghav was not very keen on attending as he felt that everything was falling apart and indulgence in this event would be a waste of time. Anyways he still went to the get together and when Raghav finally met his friends, they rekindled the friendship that they once had. Each of them reminisced a memory from their college days. Everyone was enjoying except for Raghav who was still grumpy.

Can Raghav let himself enjoy a little and talk to his friends like old times? Will he let go of the stress and see these people who have gathered around are his well wishers?

Rewind and play brought back the college days nostalgia. College life, according to me, is the zenith of our lifetime. We discover so many new aspects, experiences and often in the future when someone mentioned 'college' it definitely takes us down to the the memory lane of pulling an all-nighter for exams, canteen food, study sessions etc. Every such fond memories reminds us of our friends who buoyed us during the the worst of situations as well as at life-defining ones.

This book deserves a 5 stars rating because the characters are so relatable and the story majorly focuses on friendship dynamics. I absolutely recommend this book

The opening scene of the story is an award function. Our protagonist Raghav Diwan was working as Division Head- consumer products, vision tek won an award. He is living his dream life. He has a successful career, wife Tarana. They have been living in USA for fourteen years and they have boys named Angad and Vishal. Then one day suddenly, he got fired from his dream job. He got depressed and lost in his world. Then one day he receives an invitation to an evening get-together with his college batchmates. He was not in touch with any one and he didn’t want to meet also but somehow he does. Read the book to unfold further plot. As as tper the line of the book “Hostel diaries of a frustrated B. Tech”, the book has so many funny and emotional moments that everyone enjoyed during their college life.

If we talk about the book, the plot is unique. I liked the idea of the book. It’s written in simple and easily understandable language so everyone can enjoy it. And as I stated above, I loved the reunion part as it has been a long since I met my college friends and I am not in touch with them so closely. I loved the college memories as it’s described so perfectly that made me nostalgic. Some parts are really emotional and heart touching. And I can’t resist saying that cover has been designed well. It’s catchy. Overall good one. Definitely recommended!

Rewind and Play by Tarun Gautam is about the nostalgic and fun ride of the protagonist Raghav Diwan.

Raghav Diwan is a successful corporate employee living in USA with his wife Trana and kids. He lost his job due to some internal reasons of that firm and due to crisis and circumstances he got frustrated. Life take turn and turn. One day he gets an invitation to reunion with his batchmates and College friends and this is the centre and focused part of the story he was afraid of something happening in his life that time. Story is about the hostel and college life which is mind blowing and nostalgia for all College pass-outs.

Author conspired all the important anecdotes from College to hectic professional life. I can completely compare it with my college and hosted life. Hostel life is the best part of life i think everyone should enjoy and try. Because after college we even can't go out to meet everyone from the college or hostel or something and this is the reality of today's life we can't simply ignore and deny this.

Narration is good but could be more entertaining according to background of story , language and everything is perfect but the blurb is complete different from the story which is a worst part of any fiction. As we all know many of the Fiction readers choose books on the basis of blurb that's why i always say blurb is more important than the prologue. So in this book this could be more vibrant and related to the story.

Overall story can be simply enjoyed. Smoothness , straight plot line , simplicity and lucidity is there in the story.

I can explain in three words humorous , engaging , nostalgic.

About the book

The story revolves around Raghab Dhiwan . Raghav is mostly like all of us with lots of dream . A successful job. A loving Partner. Amazing life . These dreams chase him and he can't balance his life .

One day he gets an invitation from his college friends for a get together . He tries to refuse but can't .
He ends up meeting his friends .

My views

The book reflects the memories of College days of the protagonist and most of us can relate to this .

The book is quite slow faced and The plot is not concrete . The plot could have been way more better because there were enough good elements to make it so.

The language is simple .

And as per the title , as the book has taken us back to the protagonist's college life , the title is appropriate .

Starting from the cover of the book is amusing which reminds me of Hindi movie 3 IDIOTS. The cover is colourful and related to the story of the book but could have been a little better. The title of the book ‘REWIND And PLAY, Hostel Diaries Of A frustrated B.Tech’ is very interesting and gives a hint that it’s going to be about college day life issues.
The story revolves around Raghav, the main lead, who is a product manager at a company. The situation goes against him and he faces downfall in his life. Being division head of consumer product in VisionTek, he gets into a product failure which leads him into media defame and depression. As he struggles with his life and his family feels a distance from him, But then the college reunion makes him come back to reality and sort his life problems. Raghav realizes that life is the same. Some bad experience shouldn't stop life.
Where it's not just Raghav who have a story, but everyone else in the batch has an interesting past from the college. As they meet and play a game in the reunion. One by one they reveal what was their past, secret or memory which no one knew, how it happened. As Raghav goes through this, he travels in the past and present. This helps to unveil the inner him, and get solutions for his complex life. How does Raghav deal with this.? Did his friends know his problem or the reunion was a blessing in disguise?
While reading the book, readers start living with the college days again to revive those old beautiful memories which we cherish the most. This is really not a novel but a collection of different events from once life. A bunch of friends, sit together and recite the past college stories, hostel life, which were a problem then and now they laugh on them.
The author has portrayed each and every character with the utmost significance of their own and every one of them has done justice to their respective roles throughout the story.
“All decisions in life are made either from the head or the heart. Knowing when to use what is a journey called life.”
Language of the book is lucid and written in a simple way to comprehend for any kind of reader. A book which won’t require the use of a dictionary, a book which evens an amateur reader would love to get indulged in. If the edit was done properly, the story would have sounded much better.
The narration of the story is engaging though predictable at some times. The story is fast-paced but somewhere it goes irrelevant with the theme, but again back comes to track. The blurb could have explained better rather than giving false assumptions over the plot.
Words flow smoothly and emotions find expression thus making the book a veritable treat but I don’t like the sudden climax, the story is too short and little unrelated with the starting of the story. The ending could have been more explained with a logical ending.
I’ll recommend this book for the one who have just picked a book, for the first time in their life, it’s easy and short with less paragraph and more dialogues.
An engaging short and quick read you can take this upon a lazy afternoon for a light read.

Raghav is chuck out of his company after a mishap. His life suddenly comes to a standstill with him being unemployed and frustration gnawing him. Meanwhile, his old college friends invite him for a reunion. Reluctantly, he meets them on the due date to go down the memory lane and relive the bygone times. How would this meeting turn his life?

In life, we come across points where we get stuck unbelievably in this fast-paced surrounding. Those are the times when are forced to stop and look back when we are compelled to reflect on our past when we ought to rewind and play to connect with ourselves. Life has got to be moving but in the rush, we lose ourselves and rewinding helps in relearning.

Rewind And Play is a lucidly written short book of recollecting the fun-filled days of college. The introduction of characters has been good at the right places. With this, each character comes on to the stage and the story plays. The book takes you back to the time when amidst the pressure of exams, ragging, friends, life goals, we live our lives. All the notorious activities we might indulge in, our heroic deeds, acts of chivalry on the name of impressing girls, everything comes tumbling down making us laugh at our own selves. The central theme of the book stays rooted that a few lessons of our past must be brought back to us to keep us moving in the difficult times. This comes out as Raghav revives himself after a jovial reunion.

The book is simple in its content and approach towards its readers. In fact, I found the narration dull in certain instances. Though it is fast and crisp, I could not enjoy it. The plain flow of the story does aid in living our memories but honestly, the plot being simple and ordinary didn’t intrigue me. The book may entertain you but would not stay with you. Nonetheless, one could give it a try!

Name of the book - Rewind and Play by Tarun Gautam.
Stars given - 5 on 5 stars.
My take on the book-
I loved it.
So imagine a book that says a lot about your good old days, it's bound to make you feel home sick and crave your friends' time, like it did for me and I ended up calling my childhood bae who has been a big support all these years.
It's a story about how things change and we never know what will happen next. It's filled with emotions to the brink.
I would have loved the book even more if it was a bit more refined with it's editing but all the emotions are so well executed and explained.
I missed my good old days so bad that I wrote a poem.
Memories are ever there, lurking around the corner bend.
Some make memories while others follow pictural trend.
I chose to open my diary and give my bestie a call.
Who held my hand, come hell water, winter or fall.

Just finished manoeuvring through the amazing rewind! A bunch of college batchmates meet up after a long time as hard-core professionals jostling with the New york city life. Raghav, the protagonist is struggling within the ambit, losing his inherent vibrancy and spunk. Through an absolutely enjoyable bit by bit recollection of their campus episodes the author captures the reader zealously, reinstating that lost buoyancy in their lives.

Reminiscing through the past stories the book evokes the fact that we all have got some thing special in ourselves and we are each uniquely designed to succeed. It can be a very simple idea that is waiting to be pulled out from closets of the days bygone.

The high point of the book is it's jovial, enjoyable incident inputs from the real lives of a certain bunch of hostlers. Sometimes hilarious, scary, traumatic and even shocking!

Breezy Read

In a nutshell, "Rewind and Play" revolves around a group of friends who share their college experiences during a get-together. Each of them concocts an interesting anecdote from their college life, reliving the memories as they talk about it. Raghav is the main character of this story, a major incident forces him to steer his life away from his intended path. But this get-together comes as a blessing in disguise for him as the stories his friends share start to have an effect on him and shapes his thought process, thereby compelling him to tread on the path pointed by his heart.

The good parts:
- Just 160 pages. So you'll be done with it in a matter of hours.
- It's a breezy tale. Although there wasn't much to take home from this book, it was easy for me to skim through as the language was simple and neat.
- Even though the plot was simple, I do recognize his intent. The author does try to convey key values to the readers via this whole get-together-sharing-of-experience thingy, but barring a few good lines, I feel that it lacked a solid story to drive home the message.

The not-so-good parts:

- Editing could have been better.
- Although I found the inclusion of a 'Disclaimer' page to be cool, I couldn't agree with what was written under it.
- In the beginning, the main character encounters a life-altering problem. Since the severity of it is so dire, it would make you feel curious and nervous about how he is going to handle such a complication. But the way he resolved the problem didn't make justice at all. It wasn't practical. That let me down big time.
- It wasn't very descriptive. It was filled only with dialogues and so I found it hard to connect with the setting, place, and culture, etc. Yes, it was fast paced but the quality was compromised and whatever the story tried to convey didn't stick in my mind.
- Certainly not worth 295.00rs. (That's the price printed on the back cover) I have read hundreds of books in my life and for a fact, I know whether a book is worth the price it retails for. I feel that 100-150 rs is a fair price. I wouldn't pay a dime more than that.

This book follows Raghav Diwan. Raghav is living his best life in US. He is going for an award show and is the face of this brand new technology. But time changes. Same happened with Raghav. Everything he was known for was taken away from him due to the failure of this technology. He is jobless. All the fame and success is taken from him. He looks at his world changing, which in turn changes him. He gets distant from his friends and families. One day he receives an invitation. This is an invitation for a get-together with his college friends. This is not the right time for it. He is ashamed! He is felling insecure. He knows that his college time friends are all successful and well settled. But he takes the leap of faith. He goes to this get-together
This turns out to be a good choice. They met and relive the old times. They play a game of recollecting these old memories. They were reliving the days of colloge and those good days. The exams and events. The hangouts and other sweet times. All the memories that were forgotten.
Through this story Raghav's life is recollected. The time he lived and shared with his friends and family is brought in front of his eyes. He remembered his teenage time, The time when things were easy. He also remembered the hard and life shaping times.
The book has a underlying meaning. It shows us how we can over come any crisis in our lives. how we need to look back at ourselves and understand that we need to be carefree and risk takers. We need to understand that in one's early age they take risks and built themselves but why not do that again?
The book is inspiring and motivational. The author has used a story to make us understand the basic path to happiness. It tells us to not leave hope. The story was story and good. the language was easy and understandable. The book is hilarious while holding it’s real meaning.
The problem is that the books need more work. The book needs editing. The story is great but the onlt thing that is a major set back is lack of editing.
I rated this book a 3/5 🌟

According to me, this book “Rewind and play” is basically a fiction based on anecdotes from college life of the protagonist “Mr. Raghav Diwan” and his friends.

Discoursing about the book, I found the plot to be okayish but nothing out of the box.

The characters were well developed and the language was lucid.

The cover of the book looks pretty good, yet, I feel the author could have presented it in a better way.

Reading the book will definitely give the reader college life nostalgia.

What disappointed me the most - Improper conveyance of the book’s main theme. Though, I enjoyed reading all their college life incidents but being an avid reader, I expected something more prominent and unique. Major portion of the book exhibits only the funny incidents and the author completely strays from the main theme i.e., the protagonist Raghav Diwan’s career. Only last few pages briefly reveals about the protagonist’s action to change his future.

Discoursing about the college life incidents, I really enjoyed reading them as standalones but their connection to the main theme was left behind.

I found the blurb to be quite irrelevant with the story line. The protagonist, who was a software engineer, struggled in his career as he got fired from his current job because of an unfortunate incident, but, the blurb displays an opposite image of his career.

I liked the notion of the book; nevertheless, I feel the author could have made the plot more impressive.

Lastly, it was a very light read but a fast paced one.

Favourite quote: “All decision of life are made either from the head or the heart. Knowing when to use what is a journey called life.”

If you're new into reading and want something light and refreshing, grab this book.

First of all, being an engineering student myself, I enjoyed the events of the book and could relate to many of them. It was like living my college life again while I am still in college :p. Yes, this is a story of an engineer dude living back his college days. But how did he get to the past?

Raghav Diwan is living a life every Indian parent wants for their child. He is an electronic engineer working in one of the most powerful electronics company in the US and heads an amazing product launch. He has an amazing wife to spend his life with. But as they say, life isn’t smooth at all, he goes through a rough patch in life where he is left as an unemployed person with shattered dreams.

He’s been coping up with sudden and drastic changes in his life when he is informed about a college reunion. He isn’t exactly in a mood for any social event but decides to join anyway to freshen up a little. Meeting with his old fiends results in recollecting the memories they had spent together.

The book is not really a story but a collection of different events from once life. But the book never feels like losing the track and is very well organized. Although it needs editing, the language is pretty lucid, relatable and witty.

This was a light and refreshing read for me. And I think people who have graduated can give it a try to recollect their own memories.

My Take:

A trip to nostalgia. Get together are always fun. Meeting old friends, reminiscing old days and having a good laugh is what we all live for. Sometimes its not possible in real life so books helps relieve that nostalgia.

The book starts with a super successful Raghav who, within few months is on a downfall. Standing up and taking baby steps takes time especially when the fall is bad. The reunion comes at the same time and Raghav decides to attend the same. What happens when he meets them, spends time with them? Read the book to find out.

The narration is pretty simple. The story dwells more in past than present, talking about old friends, times and the challenges they faced, the pranks they played, the memories they created. Also helps us think how naive and care free we were and how basic our necessities in life are. Suspense element is used beautifully to keep you hooked to the book.

Reading this makes you realize how much you have changed. You connect to the anecdotes and the fun. The book is a collection of fun stories and pranks we play in college. Also very subtly weaved is the angle of mid life crisis. Pick this up if you are stressed, upset and missing friends.

I would rate this 4/5.

This book brought smile on my face😊😊 while reading in the other hand reliving my school and college days.

Time flies so fast. This sentence i heard during my school days when our hindi sir gave lil insights of his life . He advised us to live everybit of life but as a teenage preoccupied mind ,we didnt understood well. But today i do understand what he ment.

As i started to read the book... i felt this could be a tech guy story who lost his job and will bring out solution to restore it,but it turned out different. It is all about hostel relive moment.

The characters are well portrayed. Great friendship bond. I loved there individual story. Theme is based on hostel diaries but subject belongs to Raghav and his after situation of catastrophe fired from Visiontek.

What a lovely get together narrated in the story. I wish i could meet my school friends once to relive our school reminiscences. Narration were simple and divided in chunks. The issues occured in the story were agreeable to some extent. Every student will face such or.some.sort of problems. Henceforth they will become independent and more mature to handle situations.

I got to see all the characters has been gone through pain, emotions, relief, zeal, passion, experiments, pranks (mohabbat.com🤣🤣🤣)revenge 😬😉😉(Virus spread in Roxy computer centre☺☺🤣🤣)wild card entry Harpreet to support Prabhat....and lottt....

After deep analysis on story,Raghav who walked on Podium to collect his award announced by Pathbreaker's Shining Beacon never ever he had imagined that The Glove invention could probably will bring catastrophe in his life. The boy who got hurt of his using new invention The Glove device in the market sue the co. The authorities fired him with no concerns to stop the violation of the goodwill of the co.

In one hand he is frustrated while in the other hand he got opportunity to Rewind And Play. After reliving the reminiscence of hostel, will he be able to find his path on own or will he drown in the catastrophe? To know more about it you got to read this one.

This story conveys Message to.me that, no matter what situations would arrive you always got something already kept aside stuff to rewind and play.

I would recommend this book to all ages specially ppl like me who doesnt know about hostel life at all could probably enjoy this breeze.

Rewind and Replay written by Tarun Gautam is basically a book on how a college gang meets and how they enjoy their reunion by telling each other one of the best and most funniest moments they have spent during their college days.
The book starts with Raghav, the main protagonist of this story being promoted firstly with his newly launched product and being fired as soon as the product goes through the downfall, being stressed out, he is than called upon by his friends in his reunion and how this reunion changes his life.
✅ There are certain aspects of this book that will make you want to go forward. The stories in are all the life experiences and are seemed to be stories that has something unique in it. Though not all stories are happening and has something that will make us wonder did we really enjoy our college life?
✅ In all this was a sensible read, though in some parts it really lacked the grasp and interest.
✅ Language is well written and it's a short read of 165 pages
✅ Some of us can relate to the memories inserted in the book as with our owns during our college days and with our own gang.

This is the story of engineering friends reminiscing their days in college when they get together in NYC for the first time after a long time since they finished their degree. I don't want to go in detail much because it will spoil the fun. This book is suitable for YA audience and I am sure they will be able to connect with the incidents in the story because their minds will be fresh with the memories. I couldn't connect with most part of the story, maybe it's because everyone's definition of 'having fun' is different. but what's important is that our protagonist's life actually changes after the reunion.
.
The writing was simple and could be easily understood. Though each of their stories were unique, I felt less interested and I had to stop myself a couple of times to question if I really have to continue reading this or not. But then, some stories were good and pushed me to read further. There are certain things that needs editing and some characters that need proper character development otherwise the book is okay and good to go for some light reading.

Rewind and Play by Tarun Gautam is a really short and fun read. I finished it in no time. The title and tagline stays true to the story and even the cover does full justice.

The story follows the dilemma Raghav, our main protagonist faces when he's invited for a college together, by a friend. He would've been a bit excited if it wasn't for the fact that because of certain circumstances his life has taken a 360° turn in a matter of few days, leaving him with problems at his work and personal life. Finally he gives in and decides to meet his friends who live in different cities in the US. All throughout the book we read about these people and their college lives. It's a nostalgic read anda lot of readers would be able to relate to these characters.

This book lacks the ability to make you feel like you're reading a full fledged novel rather it feels like you're reading an anthology of short stories. Different encounters with different underlying themes.

However the experiences they all share are so relatable you can't help but smile, The pressure of exams, last minute submission of assignments, college romance, gives the story a sense of realism but since majority of the book is fun, it's hard to say it portrays real college life accurately.

The writing style is basic and simple, Though the book needs to be edited since there were too many mistakes. The plot isn't fresh or different but entertaining nonetheless.

Some of the characters were developed really well and some were not given enough attention.

This book is a blend of good and bad things and has both aspects to it but I'll recommend it simply because everyone deserves to go on the memory lane this story takes you.

This book is a collection of memories by a group of college graduates who meet up after years to catch up with each other. The stores are light hearted (obviously), and sometimes a bit self- help.
The language is very very easy to read and there is a beautiful flow of memories that take you on a nostalgic trip to your personal memories. I adore light hearted reads. Definitely recommended!

Raghav Diwan has just been laid off, and he's pissed. But he then finds an invite to a college get together and decides to go on a whim. They all reminisce and he understands the meaning of life. Or something like that.

First of all, I would like to apologise if my tone got too condescending in this review. I don't mean it as an insult towards the book or the people who liked it. I just found it extremely boring and I'm annoyed that I had to dedicate my time to it in my busy schedule when I have other unread books lying about just because it's an ARC. So yeah. Okay? Okay.

The writing. It was bad. There were typos. I wanted to cry sometimes. But mostly, it was very dry and matter of fact and it failed to elicit emotion from me. The writing not being good is always a bad sign in contemporary novels like this.

The characters. Didnt feel a thing for them. They weren't deep at all. They were just names with dialogues and I have a huge problem with that. I can't relate to a cardboard cutout of a character, and that means I can't care. I'm not engaged and I'm bored. Which is what happened here.

The concept. It was a pretty good idea, actually. Not exactly novel, but definitely had potential. And props to the author for trying to do something with it. The sad thing though? It was badly done. The execution of the concept wasn't great and I can't rate a book on its idea alone now, can I?

Lastly... Themes. Plenty of your run of the mill, 3-idiots-the-movie related ideas about life and career and love and all that. But again, nothing shines through because nothing happens to anyone you care.

All in all, not a fun book. Didn't enjoy it. Didn't like it. Just... No. Would not recommend. Unless you're like.....reaaaally bored and Chetan Bhagat is your only other option. In that case, go ahead and read it

The concept of Rewind and Play is very cheery. It's about those college days that are long gone yet the memories keep clinging along. The story starts on a starry note with our protagonist Raghav Diwan winning an award for his excellent invention. But things soon turn topsy turvy with an accident involving his invention which renders him jobless.
And then he unwillingly goes to this reunion with his college mates with whom he had not been touch since a very long time.
This jolt to the past is quite nostalgic and warm, but also quite random. A steady time path would have probably done a better job. Where it excelled in the theme, it lagged in execution. But if you are looking for a light headed read with a very personal touch to it, you can pick this one up and read it in one sitting!

The story revolves round a successful corporate executive, how he suffers unexpected reversals in his life and how his family and friends collude to stage a plot to help him get over a devastating blow to his career and find his confidence again to standup and make again brick by brick what he has lost.

Tarun Gautam, the author in his first novel has so wonderfully captured various human emotions such as in the midst of all the uncertainty how the lead character find him solace in exploring and enjoying his human side by initiating a conversation and apologizing to the very character for whose suffering the lead character was blamed . This was despite that the lead character was made a scapegoat, something so common in the merky waters of the corporate world, yet he paid a cheque to clear his share of moral debt.

The story captures the father-son relationship and how the lead character realizes, the true happiness lies in not attaining self centered goals of money, power and fame but by making positive contributions to people's life.

The novel didn't end with end to the uncertainity in the lead characters life and 'they lived happily ever after' ending but leaves the end quite open ended. This seems to be a new trend these days. However the state of the mind of the lead character has undergone a transformation to face new challenges ahead. This is something that the author may choose to pickup if he wants to continue the series.

I have given four stars for this debut novel of the author, for a superb flow, well follow through, lucid style and real life characters with nice capture of human emotions. Would recommend as a good read.

The cover and the title were an eye-catcher for me. The language of the book is pretty much simple and easy. The first half of the book I found a little slow and not to the mark as what I expected while looking at the cover of the book. The second half was a like cherry on the cake which according to me will make the book a good read. It is good for all the beginners.
Overall, it is a bunch of old memories, secrets, get together of college life, which was a little messy but infact was a bag of memories to be lived.
The author has done a commendable job by writing this book on a good plot to be cherished always.

The book tries hard to let you connect with your past college days. No matter how down you may feel in the professional days that you so looked forward to during those college days, there are low points in which the college memories seems to have a therapeutic effect. On this premise sits the tale of Raghav and his college friends who come to share an interesting story over a few glasses of beer, a lassi and some quality time.
