A deadly virus unleashed.
Creating chaos and destruction across the nation.
But she destroyed my world that day.

Lochlan
Even with years of military training, nothing could have prepared me for the end of the world. But it happened. And now, one year later, it's no better. In fact, it just got a whole lot worse.
Disguised with emerald green eyes and the body of a god, comes death personified crashing through our gates. Followed by a lot of teeth.
She ruined my life. I wanted to end hers.

Adira
Never in my wildest nightmares, did I think my training would have been used for this. That I would become this. But it happened. One year later, as the world crumbles around me, I'm getting stronger, faster, hope literally courses through my veins. But others see it as a curse. A weapon to be used in this time of despair. As hope for humanity becomes a possibility, survival is not the only thing I’m fighting for.

This little novella packed quite a punch! I loved how the story sucked me in right from the first page and kept up the quick pace, detailed plot, love/hate and enemies to lovers romance, the dangerous setting, and of course zombies. Lochlan has alpha male jerk down to a science but with his painful past its no wonder he's having trouble adjusting, especially once his worst nightmare shows up wrapped in a sexy brunette named Adira who's the source of his anger and anguish. The two have chemistry from the start but it takes a series of crazy encounters with zombies and dangerous ruthless enemies to make them see the truth. Loved the ending and can't wait for more!

This was a great debut, great read, and I couldn't put it down. I don't even like zombie stories focusing on human nature and relationships, but the author made me love it and crave for more. I hope this will become a series, the author certainly left a great opening for a continuation.
The story is fast paced, and the author did a great job on the character development, the world building, and creating the atmosphere of despair with a hint of hope. Due to the nature of the plot, there is quite a bit of violence, and the action scenes are quite amazing. There were times when I felt like I was there killing zombies with the rest of the crew.
There is also some  hot and steamy stuff, which is superhot. The author did a great job portraying two desperate people trying to find a moment of happiness and peace where there is none to be found.
Adira and Lochlan are the main characters, both ex-military, and Adira is something more than human. Apart from them, the focus is on general despair, human connections, how far are people willing to go to survive, and things they are willing to do to each other, as well as difficult decisions they face. It is all about humanity, without any added drama, just the way things are. I loved the book and I hope there will be a next one.

Can more be found when chaos rules the world?

Lochlan and Adira could not have chosen a worst time to have such a fierce instant attraction towards each other. The world has completely changed and they both carry demons that go far beyond those that happen to be walking around killing the earths population. Reading their story had me quickly flipping pages as I soaked up all the action, anger, lust and sense of hope that permeated each page.
NM has created a fantastic debut book and I can’t wait to see what more she can bring to the book world.

Pondorum is a thought-provoking read that is well developed for such a short story. It is a tale of a government experiment creating a zombie virus and the constant fight to stay alive. The daily need to survive is told through the voice of two main characters Lochlan and Adira who have an interesting history and an extreme attraction towards one another . The descriptions of the zombie hybrids blew me away as did the ending- can't wait to see how it plays out. I recommend taking a chance on this story-don't let a zombie apocalypse scare you away. It's a story about hope and survival.

This short novella is a haunting trip into the aftermath of a government made apocalypse. It's extremely realistic in details and origins. It has action, heartbreak, romance and the ultimate ending. I found myself holding my breath, gasping, smiling and swooning. The characters are wonderful. I could feel their pain, lust, anger and passion. I couldn't have asked for a better short read. I can totally see this becoming a Hollywood movie and blowing away the genre. Emotion and action make this story a must read!!

Wonderful action from page one

Love the writing of this author! Zombies, a lot of action, drama and let's not forget romance! This was an epic rollercoaster ride of emotions for me. I felt all the emotions this author wrote using words so graphically I could visualize it in my mind. Thank you for all you do for your readers!

In a world besieged by zombies what humanity can be found? Pandorum seeks to answer these questions and more as NM Black infects your heartbeat with this action packed story. Pandorum grips you almost from the start as it makes you feel that emotional pull for its doomed characters. The fate of humanity is in the balance as a virus turns people into zombies. Few are left to fight off these creatures in their many forms. One woman - Adira becomes the hope for them all as the zombies continue to decimate Earth's inhabitants. Yet she is haunted by her tragic encounter with the emotionally crippled Lochlan who vows to hate her for all eternity even though he burns with desire for her. These two must set aside old wounds and tragedies and work to together to combat an enemy unlike no other. Will they be able to save humanity or are they unable to stop the next evolution of the zombie apocalypse?

This novella was so much more than just a story about zombies. Because I don't want to give spoilers I will only say it is a lesson that is so apropos for our times. It is a cautionary tale on a global scale that shows you what can happen when governments begin to deem some of their citizen superior to others.

My only complaint about this book is that it was too short! I wanted more! I can't wait for Ms. Black to present us with the rest!

This is a recommended read that will leave you begging for more.

Pandorum by N.M. Black, is an entertaining read from start to finish.
In this story, Adira meets Lochlan again and it doesn’t go so well. Lochlan is dealing with his past pain that unfortunately was caused by Adira. However, will the chemistry between these characters forgive the past so a future together can occur, you must read it to find out.
Ms. Black writes a paranormal romance with spunk and charisma. The characters are well drawn and it’s clear to the roles they play. The book flows well and the romance is off the charts in sexiness, need, and sheer lust. Adira, is a strong heroine that doesn’t have it in her to set by and let others get hurt in this apocalyptic world. She is one bad to the bone lady. Lochlan is hot and doesn’t answer to anyone. He is a alpha male personified. When these two characters get together it’s electrifying! I can’t wait to read another book by this author. Her creative writing style is simply brilliant. 5 glorious stars.

This debut novel by N. M. Black is one of those books that stays with you even months after you've read it. It is different in a fantastic way; a love story within a zombie, Dystopian world. The lead heroine, Adira, is a kick ass, take no prisoners, strong character that makes you root for her and her survival. And Lochlan, the male lead, exudes just enough Alpha to keep you interested without being over the top. I loved this quick, entertaining read. The side characters are equally appealing, full of life, and definitely need to have their own books in the future. I only wish this book had been longer! If you want Romance with a fresh twist, read this book! 4 Stars

Pandorum

My Review 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A US Government experiment made a virus which was passed thru the Canadian borders. This spread so fast and killed so many.

The main characters Lochlan and Adira both military are now learning to deal with life after the virus.

Their chemistry is undeniable, will their past keep them apart?

I usually don’t read this genre, but I was in a book slump and was happy to read something different.

Wow was I surprised! I read this book so fast because fell into the storyline!
My only complaint was it wasn’t longer! The writing was well done, the main characters had such great chemistry. I really hope the author continues this series!

Lachlan is ex military. He is a family man. He and his wife have a four year old With lupus and each day is a struggle. They toll that it has taken on his marriage is something that he regrets everyday, but their child needs them to be there for her as much as possible.

The outbreak happens....

One year after the outbreak, Lachlan is just now really learning to love in the best way possible. However, he is about to be thrust into a situation that will bring the past full circle.

An interesting read. I couldn't put it down. I am looking forward to seeing what will happen next.

I enjoyed reading this book. The storyline is smooth and fast paced. It makes for a quick read with no dilly-dally. The action scenes are well written, placing you directly in the fight.
It is not bogged down with a tone of back-story, just enough to give you a sense of the struggle the MC's have had to live through.
All-in-all an enjoyable read if you like a good Zombie story.

This is a first by this author for me, and I'll probably check out more. This little novella was packed with feels and action from the get-go. Throw in varying degrees of 'zombie-ness' and you have one heck of a ride. This love to hate, post-apocalyptic tale, had me hooked from start to finish. I can't wait to see where the author goes with the next installment.

The story hooks you right from the beginning. As a novella, it’s important to get the reader invested immediately and N. M. Black does that. The tension between the 2 main characters is palpable and the resolution is believable. I hope she turns this into a series.

A short story taking place in a zombie apocalyptic world. A well developed plot that is very thought provoking and haunting with lots of drama, action, and romance. Follow along in Adira and Lochian lives as they deal with some intriging issues and become totally immersed in their story.

I thought the bare bones of this book was great. It could have been longer and I wish there was a deeper dive into the characters. But if you're looking for a short zombie book with a little romance in it, this is seriously it.
