These were good! As to be expected, some of the twelve short stories I preferred more than others but they’re all well written and entertaining. The first one made me absolutely sick to my stomach. J.T. Lawrence definitely knows how to put together a diverse and dark collection of fiction in her books.

Another great collection! I really enjoyed the following stories:
Cold Breath – a chilling tale of the possible outcome when you manipulate life and death.
The Green Silk Scarf - another great episode featuring the retired policewoman and the Devil.
Not Waving - when you are pushed to the brink, nobody is aware of it, and just in time, you pull back and everything eventually normalizes again.
Stay The Night - if you're brave enough to do so...

The Sticky Fingers stories always pack a punch!

This book was exactly what I didn't know I needed. A collection of short, creepy tales that left me speechless and wowed.
I was not in the mood for a full book so I absolutely loved diving into these stories every night before bed. If you are looking for a short but satisfying read, definitely give this series a try.
The writing is great and you are instantly sucked into the story with just a few words.
I CANNOT WAIT to read the remaining collections.

ANOTHER superb collection!

I just love losing myself in Lawrence's stories: characters feel real, abundance of details and vivid descriptions transport you right into the story! And I love NOT always knowing where I'm being led....twists and turns, some big, some subtle, but not unbelievable. I love the Sticky Fingers series, and they keep getting better and better!

Another solid book by J.T. Lawrence. I am loving the continued connecting stories through the books and I am loving that you never know what way the next story is going to take you. This one had the added bonus of short stories connected to other books of herd which was a nice touch and had me intrigued enough that I may give them a go. There were still some stories that I preferred over others but that's often the way collections of stories go. Very good read.

Once again another great collection of works, that each one drawing you in and putting your emotions through the wringer. Lawrence knows how to paint with words and to make each one of these short stories leave you satisfied. There are a couple that stands out for me. Cold Breath, Not Waving, Stay the Night and Nachthexen.

I will warn some of these stories are based on other stories by the author. Without reading the others these were solid stand alone pieces that I really enjoyed. There's one really clever story in here too that had a friend and myself giggling and I cannot give the author enough credit for the creativity.

Enthralling

I absolutely love this entire series! Some of the stories about a dystopian future could actually happen, and some of the fictional history stories were very believable. I have read all the series and will continue to as long as Lawrence writes them

Surprisingly Creepy

As with any collection, this had some good, some great, and some not so great stories. Still worth the read.

Contrary to what the title of the first short story suggests, the bright sides of this collection are subtle and muted, although there are a fair number that lend some lighter notes to a somber work of literature.

As with her previous collections, JT explores a variety of themes in her stories from a number of angles. There's detective work, candid autobiography, a mashup of a story as if written by an android, war history retold from the perspective of a courageous female fighter pilot, amongst other types and genres.

Each story is well-written and cleverly phrased down to the last word and punctuation mark. I appreciate this collection for more than JT's characteristic attention to technical detail, though. These stories WILL make you think and WILL change the way you look at the world, be the storylines fantasy or reality based - it matters not.

Once again, Roshina Ratnam nails each story, genre and character set perfectly. Her skills are well-matched with JT's material and I very much look forward to hearing more from the two of them!
