Romantic mystery thriller you just can’t put down.
Cole and his brothers went to school and Cole had a crush on Emily but he’s been hurt terribly by her silence
When her friends would torment and call him names and Emily said nothing. Years later Cole and his brothers own a private security company and are hired by Emily’s roommate because Emily is being stalked by a former boyfriend, the police have been told and they laughed at them. As Cole and Emily meet again to discuss a brake in at 2 in the morning they kiss in the kitchen......this is the very basic start to this story....I loved it. I was given this and I voluntarily leave this review

kind of all over the place.

went from loving her and not trusting her to trusting her with his secret way too quick.

for some one who didn't want to pass on being a bear to a child sure jumped straight into some unprotected sex and they happy when she gets pregnant. wtf?

had potential but, felt rushed could have been better if it was longer and some dating instead of one night turning into forever.

Steamy fast-paced shifter read. Cole had a crush on Emily in school but she said nothing to him and did nothing when her friends were mean to him. Now he hates her but when her roommate calls in need of security because Emily is being stalked by an ex-boyfriend. Sparks fly when they see each other again but can Cole let go of the past? Great characters and an entertaining story. I liked it.

Actually a very good story. Just enough sexual tension and suspense. I did have two issues, one with the editing. Lots of spelling errors and twisted sentences; however, I was able to work it out. Two, one hole in the story I would have liked addressed, the teenage relationship. He had one view, but the author never explained her view of events.

Scarlett Ray an excellent writer! Love all her books. My protector bear is about Cole and Emily who went to high school together. Cole had a crush on Emily but he was bookwormish and scrawny. Now he and his brothers have a security business and Emily is being stalked by an old boyfriend. When Emily is attacked and put in the hospital Cole takes her to a family cabin to protect her.

Loved this storyline! They went to high school together, but they were in different crowds. Now 12yrs later she needs Cole's protection from her ex-boyfriend who is stalking and threatening her. Only thing missing was an epilogue letting us know if Emily had a girl or boy.

I really liked this short story. It has a lot of action and some suspense. The romance is a little rushed at the end which makes for some unanswered questions and problems to just disappear. But over all really liked the HEA at the end of epilogue.
