Roomie Wars
Zoey gets left unexpectedly without a roommate so after looking for a new one she settles with Andrew, a slightly chubby, shy trainee doctor with little self confidence but a great personality.
Fast forward four years and they're both different people.
Andrew, now known as Drew, has lost his puppy fat, got a load of confidence and is quite the ladies man. Zoey on the other hand is not doing so well. Dealing with a broken heart has thrown her into a slump. She's piled weight on, lost her ambition and is stuck just existing. So best friend/roomie Drew decides a day at the beach is what's in order.....and then Zoey has an accident and things start getting weird between them. Throw in an ex boyfriend, a ridiculous plan at revenge and the sudden return of Zoey's ambition, all while trying to hide how they're really feeling, and things are bound to get a little uncomfortable for the roomies.
I loved the characters in this book. Most of us have been Zoey at some point. We've had our hearts broken, self esteem squashed but we've bounced back...like she's trying to do. She's sweet, funny and loyal. Drew *swoon* is your typical man. Not realising what he's got until he nearly loses it, he struggles with his feelings and it makes him all the more sweeter for it.
The chemistry and banter between them is great and I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Wedding Wars
A year on from Roomie wars and Drew and Zoey are now in a stable, happy relationship. More in love than ever, Drew proposes....And it all starts to go downhill from there.
Zoey is still her 80's obsessed, hilarious, chatterbox self. With a wedding to plan, she starts developing signs of turning into a Bridezilla. Poor Drew is over worked, stressed, running out of patience and feeling pushed out as Zoey gets more involved with planning what was supposed to be a small wedding. With their relationship falling apart, temptation been thrown in front of them both and some serious doubts rearing their heads, Drew and Zoey are in for a rough, and sometimes funny, ride.
I loved Drew in this book. Honestly the man's just perfect. Hot, sexy, a doctor...what more do I need to say?
Baby Wars
Things change again for my favourite couple in Baby Wars. Drew deserves a medal or something for the amount of patience he has with Zoey and her crazy mind. This book further cements Drew as the most perfect man ever.
I’ve been a huge fan of these two characters from the start and really enjoyed this Box Set.
