Short collection of vignette style nightmare reports. Some unsettling surreal dream logic and imagery. Great unease in places. Induces a real sense of anxiety. Nightmares and dreams are difficult to represent, and the matter-of-fact style is very successful in getting across an uncanny and dislocated feel. Common sources of worry are a theme, including bodily fears and loss of control. Overall, an off-kilter collection of creepy snapshots.
