Retired librarian is summoned by friends who own a dude ranch because of murders of two young women - 1 drowned and 1 poisoned. Why bring in a librarian instead of police - I don't know. Usual cast of characters, but shallow like a weekly TV mystery with breaks for commercials. Rich guest from NYC was trying to cover up family secrets, but local incompetents cause complications. Simple and average.
