A collection of MUST-READS by a must-read author!

Everest

Ethan is like a painting before being presented to the public for the very first time. His personality is hidden behind a veil, but contrary to a painting, he hides behind multiple layers of veils because of complicated circumstances in his life!
It is up to Singer to be patient until Ethan is ready to reveal a new fragment of his personality, one at a time…
Their love is poetry… sweet, passionate, caring, hot, all shades of an all devouring and beautiful love.

Throughout the story there is the subtle threat that their love might be just too good, too perfect to last…
The tension is rising to quite a high level while reading and when fate finally strikes it is not totally unexpected but nevertheless shocking and crushed me, leaving me crying like a baby.

The discrepancy between the lightness of their love and their bantering on the one hand and the agony they have to endure on the other hand is crafted very skillfully and totally fascinating and engaging.

This book is something else: It covers a whole variety of emotions, coming to life with amazing characters (main characters AND side characters) and a truly twisted plot!
I am really at a loss of words to express how much I loved reading this book!

Bad Reputation

Ms. Scott is a master in setting moods and changing them in the blink of an eye.
This story starts in a secretive and melancholic way and continues with some truly unexpected and very surprising twists.

The characters are nearly picture-perfect…
Can any man be sweeter, more comforting, more sensitive, more caring and loving, more protective and be more devoted to his girl than Hutton? I don’t think so!
And can any woman be more affectionate, more caring, more strong-minded and dutifully to self-abandonment, yet true to herself, but nevertheless devoted to her man than Ally? I don’t think so either!

I truly felt miserable for this amazing couple when Ms. Scott sent them up a road full of bumps, but I felt equally elated and bubbling with joy as they overcame one obstacle after another…

With this book Ms. Scott has surpassed herself once more, if that even is possible with all these fantastic books she has written before.
This is one of the best books I have read so far!

Force of Nature

When meeting in the city of love, I guess you are supposed to fall in love… here is just too much romance in the air…
So do these two protagonists, Bennett and Winter, without really knowing each other. They fall really fast and hard for each other, not being able to ignore their instant attraction…

I was drawn in with the first page and helplessly fell for the most romantic romance I have read in a very long time…
Though not all is romantic…
The plot is that much thrilling and twisted that I doubted a "happily ever after" not only once. The darkness, always lurking in the background, made the tension build up to an all-time high that kept me on the edge throughout the story.

This is another phenomenal read within the Everest Brothers series! Wow, just W.O.W ! ! !

Loooooooooong read but very entertaining. However, was about to pull out my hair during several parts in Bennett’s story. How in the HELL did security let Winter go in that bathroom without a clear check first? Anyone with a 3rd grade or better education saw what happened coming a mile away. And that extremely detailed and meticulous description of them figuring out the mystery of the locket. Did the author have to describe every second they spent getting to the SUV, then driving to the bank then getting out of the car, then crossing the street, then walking up the bank steps then walking into the bank then.... GAH!!!! I wanted to toss my phone. That was brutal. But it ended well. 🤣

Loved the first book, definitely wasn’t expecting the end. Other two were a little slow to get into but towards the middle & end things lined up & turned out to be pretty good!

A compilation of the separate reviews for the boxset.

Everest
4.5 stars

I am not sure that there is anything that this author cannot write. She manages to draw via words an entire character(s) or scene to a degree that if you close your eyes you could picture them/it right before you. They seem tangible and real. They come with flaws. They have their insecurities. Yet, because of how they are portrayed you can feel what they feel. You get a birds-eye view of how their mind works. This is not something that is easy to do and yet this author does it flawlessly.

This is especially true of Everest and Singer. How often have we felt insecure around someone else, especially if in our mind they are a God or Goddess and we are just mere mortals? This book started out a bit slower than her other works but I knew that this author would not disappoint and she didn't. Everest became like the mountain and I wanted to climb him. Literally and figuratively. He was deliciousness in a God-like body. While he seemed immovable and unreachable it became apparent as the story progressed that there was more to his demeanor than what showed on the surface. Singer, how I adored her, I loved that she was such a free spirit. She loved wholly and unconditionally.

I cannot recommend this author enough. Every character she writes leaves its mark on your soul. Just when you think one character has one the top spot as book boyfriend then along comes another flawed hero and he takes the throne until the cycle repeats.

Bad Reputation: A Second Chance Billionaire Royal Romance
4.5 stars

A modern Day fairytale with a twist. Going in I knew this book was going to be special. As soon as Hutton met Ally in the bar, I knew that theirs was a connection made in the stars. The author did an exceptional job creating a new and improved version of how royalty works and one that I am all about supporting. She manages to weave a story with banter, and sincerity, and a whole lot of Southern Charm. I loved Hutton's brother, Everest, but Hutton has him beat in this book.

I loved everything about Hutton and his connection with his Princess. Even though the connection was there from the very start this was not an instant-love romance. Time was put into this relationship and I appreciated that. Aly was a princess with a gypsy soul. I am not sure if anything could truly have tamed her zest for life other than Hutton and it is that reason that further recertified why they were true soulmates.

This story shows that Happily ever after comes in a plethora of ways and that love ultimately triumphs...especially if it comes in the form of a strong stubborn Texan man not willing to lose his princess.

Force of Nature
The magic of words

To say that I have been eagerly waiting for this book is an understatement. For weeks now, this author has been giving little snippets of this amazing story via pictures on social media. Each picture lured me in because they were aesthetically sublime. I figured that they were there to just build up the anticipation and would help enhance the story even though I know from experience that this author doesn't need any help because she always creates an amazing story. However, I was wrong. These pictures DID help her story but not in the way that I thought they would. It was as if by seeing those pictures the story came even more alive. Each scene in the book took on a new life. If I closed my eyes, I could see the pictures and words become one as the story unfolded. This was MAGIC.

I need to preface this review that while Bennett could "technically be considered part of series following his brother's book, it is completely a standalone. I have adored these brothers from the beginning. I was always told to not pick favorites, but I couldn't help myself. Bennett was always going to be my favorite. After reading this book, I can see why. He made my jaded heart into a believer that love can be selfless. He was this mountain of a man that lived up to his last name. Winter. This poor damaged girl with a warrior’s spirit and resilience. Together, they made me melancholy for Paris and also made me shake my fist at the Universe for not letting me experience love like this when I spent a summer there.

This book is filled with love, suspense, and secrets. However, it ultimately showed that love can always overcome any obstacle. This book is hands down my favorite of the brothers and in the top three of ALL of her books. I cannot recommend this book enough.

Been to the Mountaintop
They've left me speechless. Three amazing brothers with three distinct, complex, and beautiful love stories. Dang these Everest brothers. They're too awesome to even pick a favorite out of the litter! I love how these stories were able to stand alone, yet remain all connected, much like the brothers themselves.

These brothers and the women they fall in love with are brilliant, fascinating, resilient, and strong-willed. They're full of passion and totally devoted to the ones they love. You might ask where the Everest brothers get their strength and awesomeness from. Simple: it's in their (ahem) jeans, LOL.

Force of Nature

As I have left separate reviews for 'Everest' and 'Bap Rep', this review is for 'Force of Nature' only.

I loved the start of the book. The small snippets of the action, grabbed my attention. The rest of the book held my attention with no problems at all. I love a bit of suspense in a book and this book was riddled with it.
Don't get me wrong, the action between Bennett and Winter was hot, but there was just so much more to this book. As with the previous books, we had the input from the brothers and their wives. The banter between the brothers is so good.
The twists and turns will definitely keep you on your toes.

What made this great news listening as a box set. Ethan and Singer - great kick off to meeting the Everest brothers. This one had an unexpected twist of sadness but great setup for this series that can be standalone.

Hutton and Ally - a little royal flair!! Very complicated family - good story.

Bennett and Winter. Great wrap up to this trilogy with a little ghost from the Ethans book. I love the closeness amongst the brothers. There is a great mystery wrapped up in Winters past - although it is hard to believe how much her father hates her.

Great narrators - good writing. Think I’ll try the Crow Brothers!!!

Man, those Everest brothers really know how to swoon and protect their women. They are some serious book boyfriend material!!! I loved all of these books. But I think my favorite is Ethan. Maybe it’s the middle child in me. Lol. Each book gives you an “I can’t put this down” feel. You have to see how it ends. I love their brother bond the most!! Family is important.
Ps. I love love that you gave Lars someone to love. That was awesome.

Awesome series. Couldn’t stop reading

The three Everest brothers are heart stopping handsome, love hard, and are willing to protect those they love to the death. This is a must read and you might as well get the book that has all three stories because you won’t be able to put it down.

I love romantic books but i this is too ehh for me and then they are fighting to get together for ridiculous reason. I got thought the first book but the plot isn’t good enough for me to suffer though 2 more books in this box set, that i can’t get into.

The idea is good and the Narrators were great but it’s just not my kinda books.

I truly enjoyed this series. Loved Ethan and Singer, nice story. Hutton and Ally were a bit farfetched but hey this is fantasyland so why not have a Princess. Thoroughly enjoyed Hutton though! The last one, Bennett was a bit too sweet for my liking but the story was really good! Fun reads.
