Conner

Oh, the suspense! The author kept me guessing!
Dee Stewart's writing is flawless and flowed easily from one scene to another. I could see the research she put into it to portray a realistic criminal investigation.
This story plays out like CSI, including dark elements, arousing my curiosity while hoping that Kevin gets what he has coming to him. Yes, you will hate him... and how fun it is to read a book when there's an unstable villain.
Conner and Elizabeth have a chemistry that sizzles, but they also make a great team so I kept cheering them on.

You will 💘 this story - it has it all; humor, suspense, murder and romance. Cover to cover you will be eager to get to the next page!
Conner a Divorce Lawyer that is aggressive at getting what a woman deserves when a marriage falls apart. He used to seeing husbands abuse, neglect, abandon or cheat on their wives. Then he left dumb founder when he has a beautiful woman arrive at his office with a tale to tell. He has all he can do not to let her walk out his office. Elizabeth has to seek out a lawyer to give details that are the worse betrayal and horrifying. She is married to a monster. Her strength to discover, handle and and fake it should earn her a Oscar award. He thinks she is stupid and she has out fixed the monster and has a trap he can't escape. The suspense and twist and turns in this story....I mean wow, definitely check it out. Violence 2.5, sex 2 no cliffhangers.

Thoroughly enjoyed the book nice to see that love and good overcome the forces that would tear Elizabeth and Conner apart.
Kevin Warner is ambitious. He wants too much, but his personal a mess. His wife, Elizabeth Warner has found proof of his infidelity, and manages to get Conner O'Donnell to represent her. Things move from there rather fast, not only they fall in love, but they also have enough on Kevin to put him away for good, great read great story and for me the icing on the cake was to see Tex and Mel and of course to find out why he hates bananas.

Ms. Stewart is a new to me author. Needless to say, she didn't disappoint. This book had my undivided attention from the first paragraph. There are so many twists, turns, and surprises you will be on the edge of your seat wondering what's going to happen next...I know I was! No spoilers, except to say the heroine in the story gets her HEA in the most unexpected place. Get this book, you won't be sorry. Happy reading😍!

A delightful continuation of the saga

Holy smokes!!! This is an amazing story!! It has everything you could want. Mystery, intrigue, murder and more!!!
Conner meets Elizabeth when she goes to him to be her attorney. She wants a divorce and knows her life is in danger!!! 5 stars is not enough for this one.

Omg this author.......I'm sorry, but amateurs need help from proofreaders and editors because......omfg the inconsistencies. The boring talk. The fact that everyone is a cheater. Ugh just bland af couldn't finish it. The book was ALL OVER THE PLACE.

Fast paced romance. No waiting for events to play out. Need an epilogue to finish Kevin's fate. Does not bog down with lots of detail. Good read.
