This was an amazing ending to this series. I just love this second chance romance.
Tanner was the cutest little boy ever and I just loved him.
Aiden was amazing caring and just a little bit of an asshole.
So now I need to find something new to read.

I had been waiting patiently for Aiden's story and Kristine Allen did not disappoint. I was hooked from page one and loved getting to read Aiden and Ivy's backstory. Even with the obstacles they faced, Ivy and Aiden were destined to be together, and Ivy is the perfect addition to the Straight Wicked Ladies.

The Straight Wicked series is one of my favorites a must read for rock star romance lovers.

Aiden, Ivy and Tanner. Where to begin page after page you will definitely love this story. When Aiden met Ivy in the eighth grade nothing seemed to go his way until then. Every moment they spent together that love grew to a life where they knew they would be married with children one day. As the years went but in school together and always growing with love. Aiden had decided that once he graduated he would join the Navy just as his father had. With the promises of being with each other Ivy would be off to college while he did his tour. When the unexpected happened to Aiden one day, he received the worst Dear John letter of his life. Ivy broke her promise of waiting for him and returned his engagement ring to his mother, along with anything of his she still had. Aiden heartbroken and not giving a damn anymore continued with the service playing tunes with some other men in along side him until getting out and starting a band. Everything about Aiden’s life was the band, fucking and not giving a damn. And he was fine with that but deep down that one that got away was still there. Ivy holding herself with so many secrets never would have believed she would ever run into Aiden again, but maybe fate stepped in to help. And help she needed, after being disowned by her family and homeless with an autistic child she found hope with a stranger. William a prison guard found Ivy and Tanner at a truck stop on evening and just had to help. So he took them in loved them adopted Tanner and until the news came in loved Ivy and Tanner with everything he had. Once again one fateful day when the band was doing a charity meet and greet at a Temple Hospital, Aiden couldn’t believe his eyes. Ivy right there in front of him. All those feelings came rushing back and to follow and find out she had a son. A fucking son with brown eyes and doing the calculations he thought his boy was his. He needed answers and he wanted them now. His mind made up to fuck Ivy over like she did him on his mind let the games begin. But unknowingly it would all back fire. Will they get back together will you find out who fathered Tanner? What lengths was Aiden really ready to go through for the love of his life. And will Ivy be able to come clean with what happened. I received this book ARC for my unbiased opinion. I must say that I was hooked from the very beginning. I loved the characters and the story. I loved how she presented Tanner. I was touched. Not everyone could have written it as well as Kristine did. I couldn’t put it down. I read it all in one sitting and now need to read the others. Yes, I read out of order but it stood alone as a great story. Truly a must read.

I couldn't put this book down. It's the first book I've read by Kristine Allen and it definitely won't be my last. Right away I fell in love with Aiden and Ivy and Tanner. Now to go back and start the series at the beginning.

I loved this book! Going from military to a rock star is just awesome. Loved all the characters within the story. Was mad when it ended. I wanted more. This is a book i would highly recommend to anyone that loves romance!

This series has really been an epic one! I read Ms. Allen's MC series and loved it, this one I may love even more!! That is a HUGE deal as MC is my main subject preference. Aiden is damaged goods, from a bad childhood to the loss of what he thought was his forever love, he is a wild man Chance has he and his first love Ivy meeting up years later and now a child is involved. WOW! Besides an amazing story line, this book is just a joy to read! As always, this author provides us with great character development and just leaves us wanting more! I thought this was a great ending to the series. I cannot wait to see what she has in store for us next!!

This book left me WRECKED! It was the best way to wrap up the series of this band, although I would love and hope that we would get Zane’s story in the future, especially based on how this book ended! Aiden had somewhat of a rough childhood, and that all changed when he met Ivy. When they thought they would spend the rest of their life together, she sends him a Dear John letter while deployed, and it changes his life in a big way. Years later, as chance would have it, they reconnect and revenge is the only thing on Aiden’s mind. But as they peel away the layers of the events of the past seven years, while some things have changed, the two of them have remained the same when it comes to the other. This was such a powerful story and I went through a range of emotions for Ivy and her storyline. The flow of this book was great, much like the others in this series, and I loved that while each book focused on a band member, we still got to see the development of the others throughout the background of them. Great writing, great storyline, and can’t wait to see what’s next!

I was hooked from the first paragraph. Kristine’s characters came to life on the pages of String Me Up and they kept me reading until I read the last word. I fell in love with Aiden, Ivy and Tanner and couldn’t help but to root for their happy ending. Kristine Allen will always be a must read for me!

Aiden and Ivy's second chance

Aiden and Ivy have known each other since childhood. They eventually became more than friends. They discovered they were soul mates. Because of tragedy their story was interrupted. Years later their paths cross and the flame is definitely still there.

Both Aiden and Ivy need to learn how to come back from the life they'd led apart.

This was an emotional ride and I LOVED it all. The characters, story flow and most importantly Tanner. Kudos to Ms. Allen, great job!

Sometimes the what ifs you ask yourself can only go far, life is full of heartache, pains, drama and you wonder if you made the right choice in life. These characters blame themselves for all the bad stuff that happens to them, the only thing that can keep that type of hurt away is time, love, and patience, without it they don't have anything. It cannot be over!

I loved this series!!! All more than 5 star reads and this is no exception. This is Aiden and Ivy’s story and it is as special as Tanner. Kristine, Tanner’s story was handled with caring respect for a child who is special. Well done. I could not put this book down and it ended much too soon for me. Oh my goodness, what a fantastic book! Please tell me this is not the end of this series!! True to her masterful writing skills, Kristine Allen pulled me into this story and held me captive until the end! This book is like an emotional wrecking ball, so try to prepare yourself for the workout your heart is going to get. Aiden and Ivy's tale is beautiful, painful, twisty and heartbreaking. I felt so much for these characters and what they went through to get to that HEA, that I really don't have the words. I am freely posting a frank review.
