His Ravenglass Universe includes The Ravenglass Chronicles and Guild of Assassins. Readers of Robin Hobb, Brent Weeks and Michael J. Sullivan will find themselves at home.

He also holds a PhD in art history on the sculptor Jacob Epstein. After his post-apocalyptic Wasteland series took off, he turned to writing full time in 2017.
His love of fantasy began when his mother read him Roald Dahl's The Witches. Originally from Wolverhampton, he now lives in Morecambe with his wife and son.
Strength is #8 in the Ravenglass Chronicles by Jon Crenshaw is a spellbinding, episodic fantasy series that blends tarot-inspired storytelling with a rich coming-of-age journey. Jon Cronshaw crafts a world that feels both intimate and expansive, where magic is woven into the very fabric of the land and every chapter feels like turning over a new card in a mysterious deck. For readers who are looking for immersive world-building, character-driven fantasy, with a tarot-infused storyline that’s brimming with imagination. Happy Reading…
Kat's journey takes another unforeseen turn and a secret is revealed about Witz, however the revelation creates more unanswered questions for Kat and her readers. Once again Jon Cronshaw has created an excellent addition to this series with this installment in the journey. I received an Advance Review Copy and chose to provide this review.
After a near epic fail, our MC is protected once again by a mentor she isn’t really sure of. But this episode definitely shows a clear tie in with the strength tarot card. And once again, another chapter in her growth begins. All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
Keeps getting better and better. I like this series cause you can read one, and then go to the next one days/weeks later and don’t feel confused or lost.
This one felt like more of a connective piece. It does move the story forward, but it didn't quite grab me the way the previous one did. But I am excited to continue on!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Witz the wyvern finds Kat making her way home. When he finds out why she is doing that he tells her that she is not allowed to go back home. She is going back to the guardians and he is going with her. We learn that Witz has some pull with the guardians but not why he has that power. This problem fixed she is now an apprentice and put to work Learning her new trade.
Kat returns to the Guardians upon Witz's request. Her life changes when she is accepted, and she is to become a Watcher. Scram takes her and she begins her training but not without a few intense moments. She continues to have to figure out what this destiny of hers is and where its going to take. Her journey continues and not sure where it might lead her.
