This was a quick love story. I did like the fact that Casey went back and finished school. The separation was just right for them and added some depth to the story.

This is the third story in the gimmie series each are quick, sexy and so easy to read.

Casey is in town visiting her cousin during spring break, she is two months away from graduating and is looking forward to starting her life. The last thing she was expecting was to meet the man she was meant to fall in love with. Owen is all that she could ever want but can he really be serious about her but this feels like so much more than a fling. When the time comes will she be able to walk away?

Owen is a successful owner of a construction company and after agreeing to a drink with his workers finds the woman of his dreams, she is sweet and shy and he is determined to have her as his. Can he convince her that when he says she is his forever he means it, he has a week and he is determined that by the time she leaves she knows that they will have each other for life.

C.M. Steele always delivers a sweet story with perfect epilogues. Definitely worth a read during a quiet hour.

What a great little story. Perfect no angst, no OM/OW drama, H gone for h instantly. The H, Owen sees nothing and no one but the h, Casey. Small, few week separation with no others. I really loved how Casey went back to finish college & not throw her opportunity out the window to stay with him & how Owen couldn't be without her, forcing himself to give her a couple weeks before running to her.
Very good book. Completely recommend!

I keep stumbling on these ridiculous little instalove novellas that all read as if they were written by a ninth grader with a crush on her gym teacher. This one was laugh out loud funny, though I suspect it wasn’t meant to be. I can’t believe there is a market for this crap.

I should point out that errors abound in the novella. In particular, the author has a devil of a time sticking with one tense, changing back and forth even within each sentence.

Also, this snippet of WTF in the epilogue made my day:

“Little? They had to stitch your slit, honey. She’s ten pounds on the dot.”

“Really,” I gasp, entirely taken by surprise. She practically fell out of my cooter.

Rain is book three in the gimme series. This story is short, fast paced and a sweet read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Casey is visiting her cousin in New York when she meets his handsome boss. From the moment she saw him, she felt a connection to him. Owen doesn’t usually go for drinks with his employees but he soon becomes glad that he did. From the moment he sees Casey on Mike’s arm, he has to have her, even if it means fighting his foreman for her. Luckily when he discovers her link to Mike, he doesn’t have to fight him. Casey is visiting for eight days; Owen needs to give Casey a reason to stay with him.
I liked Casey and Owen. The chemistry between them was clear to see and I loved them as a couple. I liked how possessive Owen was of Casey. She was his woman and he wasn’t ever letting her go.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and an enjoyable read. I cannot wait for more books from this series.

Crazy fast, crazy sweet, crazy fun! This is instalove the way it should be written, with a sweetheart of a woman and a possessive alpha not afraid to put his woman first. Owen knows, from the instant his eyes land on Casey, that she is his One. A just as importantly, he is hers. Just like the storm that heralds their meeting, their love is lightening fast and just as strong. Casey has a bit of a time believing Owen's declarations of forever, but he's soon able to prove his devotion. Delightful and entertaining, this is a great addition to the Gimme series. Rain rain don’t go away

This is a sweet fast story. I am a huge fan of the insta love genre. Casey is a sweet and shy almost college graduate visiting her cousin in Chicago for spring break. She meets her cousins boss on her first night there. Owen doesn’t usually join his crew out for drinks but boy is he glad he does when a stunning woman walks in on another mans arm. A steamy rain storm follows. Great book

Let it Rain

Another hit from CM. I love the alpha men from this series!! Once they set sights on their women the plan is easy claim and breed! This is exactly what Owen thinks when he first lays eyes on Casey. Their connection is instant and so hot, Casey can’t help but to give into her wants and take what Owen is offering. Only she never could have imagined that it would be forever. Love this series and really hope that Mike gets a story.

The beginning got my attention but through out the story I started to lose it because it was so fast and there was no conflict or a climax. I was expecting something big to happen but nothing it just went fast with no barriers. But it's a good story for a happy goodnight read.

Great short story. Owen knew what he wanted once Casey walked into the bar with her cousin. He knew she was gonna be all his. He took her out to dinner and then back to his place. Claimed her and she went ba k to her hotel during the night sometime and he freaked out calling her cousin so he was there next day to let her know he was serious she was his and no one elses.
