Rate this book
Benedetto "Papa" Brigante ruled the largest crime family in New York. After he was killed, his fortune and his seventeen-year-old daughter went missing. How can the heir to the nation's largest crime family disappear? When Bria Brigante emerges nine years later, she is far from the mafia princess the crime world expected. Bria finds herself desperate and alone. It is there she must depend on what her father taught her to stay alive. Could the answers lie in a blank journal Papa gave her before he died? In Devon, the smart trust-fund kid trying to prove something to himself and his father? Or in the handsome stranger who befriends her on the beach? Or, is Bria Brigante far more like her father than anyone would have expected?

It is a well paced story. Narration is good. What I loved the most about this story is the character portrayal of each characters especially of Bria because Bria's character was so beautifully written. She was showed as a very bold, strong, a badass who overcomes all the tackles of her life all alone. Language is simple and lucid. Title is appropriate. Very interesting plot and about the climax I liked it but still left me with many questions🙁 will soon read the next part to get to know the answers😁.

Forgotten Link.

This is the action packed story of Bria Brigante, the only remaining daughter of a Mafia family who goes on vacation to the Caribbean and is robbed.
It is a fast reading, entertaining novel which holds your interest from beginning to end and then leaves you wondering what will happen next.
