Two years. That’s the amount of time I’ve wasted lusting after Wyatt Douglas.

He had me the moment he roared up on his bike and flashed his charismatic smile my way. I wanted to jump on, wrap my arms around him, and ride off into the sunset.

Then my brother introduced him as his friend and crushed my short lived happily ever after.

To make matters worse, we work together at World Class Wrestling and our storylines are intertwined. I have a strict rule I’ve always adhered to: never mix business with pleasure.

But with each moment we spend together, avoiding that carefully drawn line is becoming more difficult.

There’s an ongoing rumble between my heart and my head. Which one will win out in the end?

Rumble is book two in the World Class Wrestling series by Jacob Chance. This is Jesse’s (from book one) younger sister, Ronnie and Wyatt’s book.

Ronnie Gunn is a female wrestler with the same organization her brother works for, World Class Wrestling. She currently holds the world champion belt. Her career is her priority. Her life doesn’t have room for anything else. That’s what she tells herself anyway. The truth is, after having her heart broken a few years ago, she hasn’t wanted to trust anyone else.

Wyatt Douglass is thirty three years old and is also a wrestler for WCW. Two years ago when he first started working for them, he ran into Ronnie for the first time, not knowing who she was, and instantly fell for her. But as soon as he realized she was Jesse’s younger sister, she was hands off since Jesse was his friend. But during the two years that have passed, his feelings have only intensified and he knows Ronnie feels it too. But, he’s tired of waiting. His heart just can’t take it anymore.

“Our kiss is our greatest achievement, and biggest mistake, because nothing will ever measure up to this moment.”

Watching these two finally give in to their feelings was just so cute. They both had been fighting them for so long. They loved each other before they ever even touched. Wyatt was ready to settle down. He had a career he loved and wanted the woman he loved to share it with him. Ronnie took a little more convincing but I was so glad that once she jumped in, she went all in and didn’t try to push him away.

This was a pretty quick read. It was sweet, sexy and pretty much angst free. I am pretty sure I said this in the review for the first book but even though I knew wrestling was scripted, it was still disappointing just HOW scripted it really is. But even knowing this, I know that these athletes still ruthlessly work out. That what they do is still very physical. Both of these books were fun and also a great education into the world of wrestling.

Jacob Chance nails it again. Whenever I read one of his sports romance books, I know I'm going to get an hilarious, fun-filled good read combined with steamy chemistry and heartfelt romance. When I read Tussle, I was always intrigued by the chemistry between Ronnie and Wyatt and I am so glad they got their own book because this was so much fun to read. Filled with banter, sass, chemistry and some serious flames and brimming with passion.

I loved both Ronnie and Wyatt together; their intense sexual attraction and chemistry was purely electrifying and I thrived on the anticipation of these two forbidden lovers overcoming the many hurdles that they would face. Wyatt was everything I love in a hero. Sexy, cocky, arrogant and alpha whilst also being endearingly sweet and caring. Ronnie likewise was a real, fearless ball of sass and spice. I loved her for being outspoken, sassy, funny, strong and tough. And behind her prickliness was a soft core and a big heart. She had grit, ambition and stamina to go after what she wanted to do with her life. This was a slow burn to beat all slow burn. The delicious push and pull between these two was EVERYTHING. Their banter and chemistry was like a fire that just burned hotter and hotter with each chapter.

Ultimately, Rumble was a fantastic second installment in another addicting read from one of my favorite authors. It was slow burn perfection with some show stealing scenes and plenty of laughs. It had well developed and multilayered main characters and great side characters. I loved both Ronnie and Wyatt and I especially loved seeing their growth throughout the book. A must read for any sports romance fans out there.

1.5 stars!!

This one had few more pet peeves i disliked that made me.. UGH!! i hate hate the whole bro code bs.. Wyatt is a nice stand up guy he wasn't really a manwhore he flirted with ring rats and when he met Ronnie he was starting to fall for her!! but never went after her cuz after they met Jesse introduced her as his little sister.. already off limits and Ronnie did the same... waste 2 years of both keeping feelings locked away.. both dated (mentioned did show exs at one point or a ons from wyatt) then near the end when they did tell the brother he was why didnt you tell me i would have been cool.. NEJSAJ I THIS ANNOYED ME!!! YOU WARNED WAYTT SO MANY TIMES NOT TO GO AFTER YOUR SISTER... this is a me thing.. you can love the book no hate i just hate this trope.. and honestly took way to long to get together.. if it wasn't for that storyline they were put together..wyatt would have moved on he said so.. i really wanted to like this book.. cuz i enjoy wrestling.. but sadly it wasn't.

I skimmed the rest of the book..reason got a 2 star was cover and the sexy times lol

No cheating, Mentions ow/om (past relationships) but wyatt been celibate for 6 months they have know eachother for 2 years, secondary charas, dramaish, no virgins

Recomend- maybe if you can deal with brocode

I don’t know what to say other then I absolutely love this book! Jacob Chance is a forever, automatic one click author for me, because every story he creates is perfection. His new wrestling romance, Rumble is no exception. It’s a sexy slow burn sports romance at it’s finest.

WCW female champion, Ronnie Gunn is strong, determined, independent and completely stubborn.
She also is in love with her brother’s ( Jesse Gunn) best friend, who she works with.
Wyatt Douglas has wanted Ronnie since he laid eyes on her two years ago. Before he knew he was his best friends sister and before he realized he’d be working with her. It didn’t stop his feelings and fight for her though, he knew Ronnie was a stubborn one and would fight even herself when it came to a being together.
What will happen when Jesse finds out? What happens when Ronnie stops fighting Wyatt and it stops being pretend? What happens with their Wrestling careers?
Have to read to see what happens.

I absolutely love wrestling and when I was reading this story, Jacob’s writing made it so real you could visualize it like you were watching Monday Night Raw. That’s just how talented he is, he brings it to life. It was just an epic slow burn with the humor that you always get from his writing. Plus you get to see more from Jesse and Lilah which is always nice. I definitely recommend this story its a 5 star all the way.

Ronnie is a spit fire who goes after what she wants and makes no excuses! She’s loud, loving and fearless; except when it comes to Wyatt! She wants him more than she cares to admit but knows nothing good could come of them being together! Thankfully for her Wyatt has all the confidence in the world and knows together they will be unstoppable. Their only obstacle.....Ronnie’s brother and Wyatt’s best friend Jesse!

Who needs to watch wrestling when I have a Jacob Chance novel to read? I love the world that Chance has created when he wrote Tussle and now Rumble! The world of World Class Wrestling is amazing and I can’t wait for what lies ahead for all of them! Even the villains of the world sometimes aren’t too bad and really spice up these stories (seriously I’m hoping for a redemption novel)

Let's get ready to rummmmmbbbblllleeeeeeee!!!! Jacob Chance is the master of sports romance and he does not disappoint in his latest release, Rumble. Rumble is book two in the WCW series and is such a fun, sexy, entertaining romp. We were introduced to Wyatt and Ronnie (Veronica Gunn) in Tussle. Ronnie is Jesse Gunn's sister. Wyatt is Jesse's best friend. Their attraction is off the charts, but they work together and mixing business with pleasure is a recipe for disaster. Then there is Jesse. What will he have to say if they become an item? Will they continue to toe the line as just friends or will their attraction simply be too much to resist. Jacob Chance does a fantastic job of bringing the world of professional wrestling to life. Well developed characters and storyline make Rumble an entertaining and heartfelt read.

From the moment I first read Tussle I knew I wanted to have Ronnie's story, there was something about her that made me want to know her. Rumble is about Ronnie and Wyatt, 2/3 of the Gunn Club members.

Without a doubt I loved Rumble. The slow burn between the characters, the well timed humor and of course tidbits of our other favorite sports characters of his. I love how Mr. Chance surprised me (I won't tell you how because it'll be a spoiler), which can be a hard feat to do. I love Ronnie, I may even be having a girl crush on her!

I highly recommend that you read Tussle first and then Rumble because you won't regret it! And I'm smelling more to come with the wrestling world being created here! I can't wait to see what's to come!

A fun and sexy read that left me feeling reminiscient of my WWF fan days. Get ready to RUMBLE! Ronnie and Wyatt are about to heat things up!

Ronnie is an independent, total badass woman who holds the women’s World Class Wrestling title belt. She is career focused and has no interest in a man. Getting burned was no fun, so she’s done with letting anyone close to her heart.

Wyatt has worked hard for years just to make it to WCW. Once he gets hired and teams up with Jesse, Ronnie’s brother, and Ronnie they are unstoppable.

The only thing is.... there is this undeniable attraction between Ronnie and Wyatt. And it’s smoking HOT! The tension between them is combustible! Can these two stay away from eachother to protect both their jobs and their hearts?

This was a great story. It was fun, flirty, sexy and HOT!!! It was nostalgic of my days of watching wrestling. There was great friends, a protective older brother, secrets, a few jerks to keep things interesting and LOVE!!! The author always throws in sweet moments and you will love them. Another great read that will make your heart happy!

Rumble is a Smart, Sexy, Slow burn romance.
Jacob Chance does not disappoint in his newest Sports Romance. I absolutely, loved this book! WCW Female Champ Ronnie (Veronica) Gunn is in love with her brothers best friend Wyatt Douglas. Both have been attracted to each other for 2 years. Neither want to cross the line because of her brother Jesse Gunn or mixing business with pleasure. All that is about to change when their job has them in a fake relationship. I love that Ronnie is a strong female character who is independent, but Wyatt brings out her soft side. Wyatt Douglas is a funny, sexy, and physically powerful in his job, but Ronnie can bring out his loving and vulnerable side as well. I had so many moments that I laughed out loud. I loved every moment of this book. I thought this book was funny, sexy (yeah, I know I said that before), a page-turner, wonderful characters, and very entertaining HEA.

Rumble by Jacob Chance, the second book in his World Class Wrestling series, was just as sexy and steamy as the first book. Ronnie and Wyatt had a great connection from the very beginning! Their chemistry was insane. Wyatt was all sex appeal and cocky. Ronnie was feisty, fun and strong. But Wyatt was her brother’s friend and that put her in the forbidden zone, right?

I loved Rumble by Jacob Chance. I could not stop reading and read it in one sitting! It was slow burning sports romance that was full of witty banter. The characters were great together and I loved seeing old friends! A must-read for sure!

Another fun sports romance!

Based on the descriptions, I could really picture the action happening in and around the wrestling ring.

What a slow burn! Ronnie and Wyatt were sort of afraid to start something, for fear of upsetting Ronnie’s brother Jessie. But Ronnie and Wyatt are just what each other needs. They both knew it the first day that they met.

Awesome cameo by the Boston Terriers hockey and football teams!

Fun and entertaining

The story of Wyatt and Ronnie had some laugh out loud moments and steamy moments. The sexual tension between this two was off the charts. I loved that as a sports book that we actually we got to a lot of the actual sport, which was entertaining. We also get a glimpse of Jesse and Lilah ‘s life.

I loved Tussle, book 1 in this series, and was a little worried about any subsequent books keeping up. But boy was I wrong. The author has given us another look into the World Class Wrestling world, with some epic matches/mic talk and amazing behind the scenes looks into the wrestlers private lives. The storyline is funny, romantic and exciting, with characters that are very animated and flamboyant in the ring but very loving and personable when out of the spotlight. They will worm their way into your heart and leave you wanting more.

Ronnie is a sexy independent woman who happens to be the Woman’s Wrestling Champ and on top of the world. But as for her private life, it’s a total mess. Her past relationships and her rank in the wrestling world have convinced not to mix business with pleasure. She lives for the WWC and won’t do anything or let anyone interfere with that. But from the day she meets Wyatt, The Genetic Freak, she wants him. The pull she feels towards Wyatt is electric. But he’s off limits because 1 he’s a wrestler and 2 he’s her brother’s best friend. So as hard as it is, she put Wyatt in the friend-zone.

On the flip side, from the first time Wyatt saw Ronnie, he knew she was the one. While he doesn’t like it, he gets where Ronnie’s coming from, because he is driven to be on top and wear the coveted belt. But when the boss decides Wyatt and Ronnie should play like they are a couple for the fans, all bets are off. The chemistry is too strong to just pretend 24/7. What happens from this point is an amazing ride told in true Jacob Chance fashion. It’s fun, exciting, frustrating and sexy all rolled up in one outstanding read. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 stars and I highly recommend grabbing up Rumble (and Tussle, book 1 of the series) and just lay back enjoy the ride. You won’t regret it.

Get ready to rrrruuumble!!

Jacob Chance has rolled out another awesome 5 star read with the 2nd book in his World Class Wrestling series! I loved book 1, Tussle, but Jacob upped it a notch, or 2 or 3, with Rumble. He has given us a sexy slow burn romance with great characters and an excellent well written story line that will pull you in from the beginning.

Wyatt and Veronica, aka Ronnie, have an instant undeniable and off the charts chemistry from the day they meet, but almost immediately they realize that they are not only going to be working together but that Wyatt is friends with Ronnie's brother, Jesse. Both push their feelings back and try to accept the fact that they can not be, but after 2 years of working together their spark and attraction is at an all time combustible high. And just when Wyatt is ready to give up, fate steps in and gives him hope that he can finally have Ronnie for himself.

Note - Although this is book 2, it can be read as a standalone without compromising its storyline. Although, I highly recommend reading Tussle as it is an awesome book also! :-)

The World Class Wrestling series by Jacob Chance are becoming fun. flirty, hot, and sexy! I grew up watching wrestling and loved the show so much I thought that one day I could be a woman wrestler. Yeah that never happened. But I got to live through Ronnie and I loved it all! Rumble is exactly what we needed. It didn't hurt that my hunk Jesse makes a lot of appearances. Lilah is a hoot. And Wyatt...watch out world. There is a new wrestler in town and he is super hot, funny, and perfectly un-perfect.

So much sugar and spice, I loved the "pretend" love affair that grew to be so much more. But could Wyatt get over what Ronnie was hiding from him? Jacob Chance is on point when he gives us the drama. You seriously will not be able to guess the outcome until the end. Great story, characters, and a world I love to get lost into. Rumble is a book recommendation I will be spreading around for months to come.

Rumble is my first book to have read by this author as I don't often get to read sports romances, but I was really surprised by how much I enjoyed this story about World Class Wrestlers. Ronnie is at the top of her game with an overprotective brother always getting in her way. Wyatt is an up and coming star when they first meet. When after two years go by of them dancing around each other, they are suddenly thrown a bone and take the chance that they have both been secretly hoping for.

I really liked both of the characters Ronnie and Wyatt, my only complaint is I did get a bit annoyed by Ronnie, that how a strong career minded woman could be so afraid of what her brother Jesse thought, that she would jeopardize her own happiness for all that time just because he warned both herself and Wyatt to stay nothing more than friends. I understand men have the Bro code of keeping away from your friends little sister but I just didnt get why Ronnie would take what Jesse says as though it's the law for so long, but having said that I did still enjoy their story and felt it was very well written with plenty of knowledge of the wrestling world to keep the story as realistic as it could be.

There is plenty of drama in this book as well as hot sex and brilliant fight scenes. If you love a sports romance i'm pretty sure that this book would be something that you would enjoy.

Jacob Chance + Sports Romance = Perfection

If you want to read a decent sports romance story, then you need look no further than Jacob Chance. Once again his talent shines with RUMBLE, the second book in his World Class Wrestling series. This is Ronnie and Wyatt's story, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Their banter, humour ad chemistry has the pages burning up with their slow burn romance.

Both Ronnie and Wyatt were awesome. She was sassy, humorous, opinionated, but she was also someone who cared deeply for those around her. He was sexy, cocky, sometimes arrogant, but he was also an Alpha with a great big heart ... especially when it came to Ronnie. From the moment they met two years earlier, the chemistry between them began to sizzle, but nothing happened as Ronnie's brother was Wyatt's best friend, and there was the slight problem that they worked together. Did they want to mix business and pleasure? Are they willing to take the next step in their relationship?

Another great read from Jacob, complete with his with and humour. His characters are both extremely likeable, believable and thoroughly entertaining. Another of Jacob's books that I would definitely recommend.

Rumble is the second book in the World Class Wrestling Series and it is everything that I had anticipated. I first had to get through all the rumbling that was coming out of my body from the pitter-patter of my heart to the fluttering of butterflies in my stomach before I could write my review.

Ronnie Gunn and Wyatt Douglas grabbed me from the start, from their first attraction, the boulders that keep them apart, and finally when they allow their guards to come down. It's all so perfectly written. There were many times that I wanted to shout out loud, "Ronnie, you're driving me crazy, girl. If I were you, I would power leg lock Wyatt and freaking keep him there."

I have to say that Jacob Chance transports me back into the middle school girl who used to love wrestling and I would write Mrs. Kerry Von Erich on her folders. I haven't watched wrestling since the adrenaline I used to get when I watched The Rock. I had that same rush of excitement while reading Rumble. It is a keep away from your best friend's sister romance. It's such a fun, sexy and heart-pumping read. I enjoyed every minute of it.

I am not a fan of wrestling but I am a fan of Jacob Chance and after reading this one I am so thrilled that I gave his wrestling series a chance. Jacob once again delivered a completely addicting read that is fully of witty banter, angst, off the charts chemistry between Wyatt and Ronnie, fear of losing what they had before and so much more.

Ronnie and Wyatt together were smoking HOT. As you read the book you see them both fighting the chemistry and the connection they feel. He does because she is his best friend's sister so off limits and she does because she doesn't want to compromise their friendship, the friendship between her brother and Wyatt and she doesn't want to mix business with pleasure.

There was nothing that I didn't like about these two characters or their story line. Jacob did a great job delivering their story. Now I haven't read the first but I definitely want to go back and do so now. Needless to say this is a stand alone so you will enjoy it just as much as I did without doing so. I highly recommend this book because it was just one of those book you can't help but to fall madly in love with!

Once again, Jacob Chance has shown us why he is the King when it comes to writing sports romances.
He has such a unique way of pulling you into the story and making you see the words he's written come to life before your eyes.
Wyatt and Ronnie had an instant connection and the tension that was built between them gave me goosebumps. I was waiting on the edge of my seat to see how it all unfolded.

If you love reading sports romance, i definately reccomend you read this book.

This series is brilliantly addictive, hot and sassy with such strong characters like Ronnie And Wyatt I knew this would be an explosive read and I was in no way disappointed!

Ronnie knows from there first meeting that Wyatt could be the one to really break her so she vows to never go beyond friendship, there friendship builds but unlucky for Ronnie it only makes her fall more for the loveable rogue.

With his easy smile and rocking body Wyatt has always had it easy with the ladies but he’s never wanted one quite as much as he does his best friends little sister. He’s spent two years fighting his need for Ronnie but now he’s given the chance to really take his shot this may just be the biggest fight of his life.

A wonderfully written story of love, friendship and loyalty I enjoyed how the characters were all so close and getting to keep up with Jesse and lylas life only made this read so much sweeter.

Jacob Chance is one of my all time favorite authors for numerous reasons. His talent for producing unique stories is absolutely refreshing and makes for an unforgettable read! The women he writes are strong, independent, and quick witted but also flawed and relatable. Ronnie was nothing short of that and a kick a%# chick I’m sure I would have loved and aspired to be back when I was sitting on the floor eating Dunkaroos and 3D Doritos while catching the latest wrestling match! The guys are always alphas with hearts on their sleeves who know exactly what they want and are not afraid to work for it. Wyatt was determined yet a respectful gentleman you can’t help but fall in love with! When reading Rumble I found myself trying to read faster so I could ‘see’ what happened next! It was funny, hot and intense..3 things I love when reading! I highly highly recommend this amazing read.

Rumble is the second book in the World Class Wrestling series. In the first book, Tussle, we met Ronnie Gunn, her brother and his best friend Wyatt. They all have been friends, even best friends, for years. Keeping that in mind, Ronnie has been secretly in love with Wyatt for years but will not cross that line, even though almost everyone can see it fir themselves. Unknown to her, Wyatt has wanted her too since the day he met her. Now all they both need to do is forget about what everyone will say about a relationship between them, especially her brother and their jobs.
It was a well written, fast paced romcom with some funny moments in it too. And if you love WWE you'll love Rumble( you did just say it like Ruuummmbbble. Didn't you?)

Professionally Ronnie’s career couldn’t be any better as she is the reigning Woman’s Wrestling Champ however the same can’t be said for her personal life. She is focusing all her determination and strength on her career especially since the one man she wants is the man she shouldn’t have fellow wrestler and her brother’s best friend Wyatt.

For two years Wyatt has been denying his attraction for Ronnie and accepts that being friends is all she wants. When they are told a pretend relationship between the two of them will help their careers Wyatt is more than happy to not only do it but to show Ronnie that their relationship should be real.

This story takes you on a wild ride filled with heat, humor and twists that will keep you enthralled until the last page.

I can’t get enough of these World Class Wrestlers. I will forever be one of #JessesGirlz but Ronnie and Wyatt are my new favorites. We’re given a great blend of drama, romance and friendship throughout the entire story. To witness a friendship shared for a couple years prior and then see how they grow and bond makes you excited for the will they/won’t they. I love seeing the confidence and independence Ronnie has, it’s inspiring. The descriptions during the shows are spot on where you feel as though you’re in the audience watching the event right before your eyes. Im curious about Montana and Cody, I hope they get a story in the future.

Ronnie & Wyatt have a connection that will draw you in. I love how they grow closer over the years & try to not cross the line.
My favorite part was seeing some of my favorite guys from the Boston Terriers show up!
