I loved Tussle, book 1 in this series, and was a little worried about any subsequent books keeping up. But boy was I wrong. The author has given us another look into the World Class Wrestling world, with some epic matches/mic talk and amazing behind the scenes looks into the wrestlers private lives. The storyline is funny, romantic and exciting, with characters that are very animated and flamboyant in the ring but very loving and personable when out of the spotlight. They will worm their way into your heart and leave you wanting more.
Ronnie is a sexy independent woman who happens to be the Woman’s Wrestling Champ and on top of the world. But as for her private life, it’s a total mess. Her past relationships and her rank in the wrestling world have convinced not to mix business with pleasure. She lives for the WWC and won’t do anything or let anyone interfere with that. But from the day she meets Wyatt, The Genetic Freak, she wants him. The pull she feels towards Wyatt is electric. But he’s off limits because 1 he’s a wrestler and 2 he’s her brother’s best friend. So as hard as it is, she put Wyatt in the friend-zone.
On the flip side, from the first time Wyatt saw Ronnie, he knew she was the one. While he doesn’t like it, he gets where Ronnie’s coming from, because he is driven to be on top and wear the coveted belt. But when the boss decides Wyatt and Ronnie should play like they are a couple for the fans, all bets are off. The chemistry is too strong to just pretend 24/7. What happens from this point is an amazing ride told in true Jacob Chance fashion. It’s fun, exciting, frustrating and sexy all rolled up in one outstanding read. 2 Thumbs Up and 5 stars and I highly recommend grabbing up Rumble (and Tussle, book 1 of the series) and just lay back enjoy the ride. You won’t regret it.
