RESURRECTION was the book that I was most anticipating in this series. Since Beck is one of my favorite characters in the series, I needed to know who he ended up with. Beck Caulder is definitely a stoic hero. He’s the sexy-and-serious type whose special skills make him an amazing sergeant at arms. So I was desperate to meet the heroine who would bring him to his knees.
Enter Devine Blaise, the hitwoman who is targeting Glory MC’s president. When these two go head-to-head, it’s a deadly match of skill and intellect. I really loved seeing them fight, but when they realize that they have feelings for each other, it was like an inferno ignited! I thought GLORY was the hottest book of the series, but this one tops it by a landslide. RESURRECTION will make you blush like a little schoolgirl.
In addition to the scorching hot romance, there are some insane twists that happen in this book! My jaw dropped as I was reading the last few chapters of this book because I really couldn’t believe it. It makes me so desperate for LEGACY because I need to know what happens to Glory MC! I love the way Jolene’s writing continues to surprise me with each book. Every time I think I got a character figured out, he surprises me and I am keen to see how Glory MC will deal with what has happened.
It seems that everyone and everything is determined to break Glory MC apart, but the brotherhood between all the bikers is so strong that I know that they will pull through. It’s hard not to root for them, especially since they have been through so much with each other. I think if you like books with a strong brotherhood like J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood or Cindy Gerard’s Black Ops Inc. books, then you’ll definitely like the action and suspense of this series. The mix of genres is uniquely done here and makes this series just so different from everything that is out there. RESURRECTION acted like a breath of fresh air for my brain. I am DYING to get my hands on LEGACY next!
