Jose Antonio Primo de Rivera was a Spanish lawyer, nobleman, politician and founder of the Spanish fascist movement, the Falange Espanola. At the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War in 1936, he was accused of conspiracy and military rebellion against the government of the second Spanish Republic and sentenced to death and executed in the first months of the war. The image of Jose Antonio was revered during the war by the nationalist faction and after the founding of the Franco regime, he was considered a martyr for Spain.The book tells the story of the founding father of Spanish fascism and the phalanx movement. A fantastic biography and anthology of Jose Antonio. It brings to light his upbringing and the personal history that led him to co-create the beautiful political ideology Falangism with Ramiro Ledesma.
Both the Left and Right can admire this man and his idealistic goals.
A must read for all of the political spectrum as it has a plethora of political knowledge and history viable for everyone's own personal political discovery.

This biography highlights the life and career of Jose Antonio, giving a detailed description of his ideology and movement in which he led. Despite being one-sided and having a lot of bias, this book does let you explore what third positionist ideologies really is and what it stands for, which allows you to dive into what these political figures actually stood for.

Positives: Well written biography, well written and accurate description of falangism.

Negatives: One-sided. (written by a fascist)
