This series is seriously addictive.
Awesome characters, fantastic story, lots of action, and more than a sprinkle of humor.
Cage and Azy's romance has more pitfalls than a tree has leaves. Not just from demon dragons, but other unfriendlies, and their own actions. Which makes for one engrossing story.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good paranormal romance laced with humor, sass, and lusty mates.

A wild ride with pokemon and little mermaid shout outs. Nobody is actually put into a cage in any spicy scenario. The plot moves in this book though most of it is done through battles. It felt somewhat repetitive but at the same time it served up spice and character development. I wonder what happens next?

SUMMARY
Gris, Cage's 2nd, reports they've found Portia, the succubus who stole his soul shard. Cage's mate, Azynsa, is still in Hell. He's healed a lot since she put on the necklace, but still no dragon. He offers Portia a deal. “You help me find my mate, and you can live here, under my protection. We’ll find a way to feed you in any way you might need.” In return, he wants Jett. “Once he and I retrieve my mate, you’ll get your mate.” He's sure hers is a gold dragon.
Azynsa uses hiding techniques learned from her mom and from her upbringing in Chicago. The soul shard gives her hope when she holds it. Azy wants to rescue Fallyn. She watches Kur-Jara and the Black Witch try to make Fallyn tell them where Azy is. Fallyn may be insane. Azy learned about the paranormal world 5 years ago when she turned 18. She loves her police officer father. She starts leading Fallyn out, Fallyn says they're coming, flees. Azy hides in the tunnel the Greens dug. It has a little plant that provides a little water. She dreams she sees her mate. She won't ask him for help. Asking her dad for help is what got him killed. “I’m coming for you, little mermaid.” Azy tells him not to come, starts crying. He asks for a kiss. He's here, he's not here (reflects what Fallyn said about Azy). They kiss, pet, but then he asks to take care of her. No.
Within the hour, his team has Jett. Cage asks him what he wants. A future favor. OK, I need a guide to hell. Jett would've messed up Kur-Jara for free. They agree to meet later. Cage, feeling pulled, visits a secret stash, gets a hand mirror. Then he heads to a veteran airfield charity he sponsors. He meets the First Dragon who gives him a shining golden sword. “Here’s your blade. Don’t be giving it to any Annunaki, even if they ask for it.” The White Witch wraps her scarf around his neck. “We can’t come down and help this time. The Galla demons won’t be fooled again, but Ninshubar will be waiting when you get out.”
Azy needs Fallyn, finds her in an armory. Fallyn is throwing daggers at a red dragon form, 1 in the heart and 2 in the eyes. This is Fallyn's hoard. Azy would hoard books. Fallyn also collects Christmas ornaments. The necklace glows. Fallyn grabs a sword and points it at Azy. “He's coming. It's the end of you. Choose now. Are you with him or with me?” Fallyn picks up a golden Christmas ornament, they watch Cage and Jett in its reflection. Cage gives the guard at the first gate of hell the white scarf. He continues giving clothes until the last gate, when all he's got is his pants and his sword. Jett indicates that Cage should hand over the sword. “Can’t do it. Someone told me not to give it up. So, pants it is.”
EVALUATION
I struggled to connect with either main character. I struggled to engage with the plot.

After Cage’s soul shard had been stolen, he had discovered that Azynsa, a half-mermaid, was his true mate when she had been able to heal him and save his life. But before they could get together, she was kidnapped by the Black Dragon, the king of hell. Until Cage was mated, the rest of his Wyr could not, so they were all depending on him.
So now, no longer able to shift into a dragon, Cage had to train harder. He urged his sparring partner not to take it easy on him. He needed to be strong, able to fight for his gold dragons and to rescue his fated mate. So Zon hit him on the chin and knocked him to the floor, worried that Cage would be mad at him. His second in command walked in to tell him they captured Portia, the succubus who had stolen his soul shard while he was under her allure. He went to question her and make a deal as part of his plan to get Azy back.
Azy was hiding in plain sight in hell. Fallyn knew where she was, but her confusing answers when her father, the Black Dragon, questioned her did not compromise Azy’s hiding spot. Azy held tightly to the shard which somehow connected her to someone. She couldn’t communicate, but she felt hope. And if she just thought about protection, her scales would get stronger, more would cover her arms, neck, and belly to protect her from the excessive heat.
Finally Cage and Jett arrived to attempt rescue. Constant battles with the demon dragons and the Black Dragon himself were daunting, and Azy, wounded in one of the battles, began to weaken from the lack of water. Could Cage and Jett get her out of there in time with only the two of them battling all the minions of hell?
I loved this author’s writing style, light and humorous right from the start in this third book of the series. The story line is fast-moving and the characters draw the reader in from the beginning. Find out if Cage can save his dying mate, and what kind of favor Jett will demand of him in return for his help in hell.

This is a compelling, enchanting and magical read! I have to admit that I fell in love with the characters immediately. Oh wild it's a great addition to this Dragons Love Curves series. This book hits its stride right out the gate! You will be excited and captivated by the story. Aidy has build an intriguing world we even visit hell for awhile but of course the main characters are fighting the black dragon demon dragons. I really enjoyed the main characters. Azynsa is strong a quick learner and tough for mermaid yet she feels everyone she loves leaves her. Cage’s dragon is magnificent and lethal, a real fighter. All he wants is to embrace his mate and rescue her from hell. I enjoyed Azynsa’s fiercely independent nature and how she wants to destroy the Black Dragon with Cage. You can't help but enjoy Cage and Azynsa’s relationship it's so blazing hot it's off the chain. Of course there is soul mate moments, the pull to be a mated pair and whoa, when they get together, it’s scorching hot. This series is quite unique and enjoyable to read. I have enjoyed the descriptions of the ladies necklaces I can imagine how beautiful they are. You will enjoy this book it's full of humor and will be enjoyed by a lot readers, especially if you enjoy magic, drama, paranormal romance and scorching hot scenes that's a spectacular story. Aidy Award is a talented and gifted. Aidy Award gives you a wonderful story of dragon shifters and their mates. I absolutely would buy and recommend this book a spectacular read.

Book 4 of 11
An 11 book series is ambitious, but each book is an easy read (each book is about 3-4 hours). With each book, the through-plot is advanced and more characters are introduced. Details and history of the long conflict are being revealed to the characters and reader at the same time.
This book is about the Gold dragon and his mate. Also like book 3, it brings in another supernatural species, some of who are on both sides of the fight.
Now for a personal point of privilege. In book 3, the MMC was a person of color; specifically of Māori decent. The MFC of this book was introduced and she is a Black woman (mermaid). As a Black woman, I prefer to read stories about Black women/men/people and people of color. I also like paranormal, erotic romance. I knew when I picked this series up it was not written by a Black person, and probably would not have PoC main characters, but I bit my lip and dived in. I was pleasantly surprised to find that book 3 did introduce those characters.
That being said, I would advise non-PoC authors to do their research when writing PoC characters. The trope of having a Black half human, half mermaid grow up in Chicago with gang violence was disappointing (if not, borderline angering). Additionally, having the MMCs fascinated by the contrast of their skin tone against their mates’ skin is fetishizing. Last but not least, do your research around how PoC bodies function. Melanated people do not get “pale” when we are sick / unwell. We may look ashen (a grayish undertone) but our melanin does not fade. Also, Black women’s (the browner of us anyway) areolas are not “rosy”.

Wow, I do think I loved this book as much as Cage Me and Sass Me.
Aidy Award was able to renew totally her story of fated mates for the Wyr’s dragons.
There is no hunt no doubt about who is who, but a crazy rescue mission followed by an epic battle.
Cage is not like his brother’s looking for his mate, he knows who she is but can’t reach her until he goes to Hell, literally.
I loved the gold dragon, he is far from perfect, he makes mistakes and bad decisions all in the name of love, only to protect who he cares for, but he is also able to accept his errors, apologize and right his wrongs.
Azy is a complex one, such a b@d@ss girl, she had no choice but to embrace her mermaid’s mother way when she lost everything but she wants also to walk on her two feet choosing her own road. She needs her own freewill back in order to be able to fully give her love to Cage. She fights for what she wants, she is no coward.
I’m also very curious about Jett and Fallyn, they are two very appealing characters in their own way.
The story is very fast paced, all the events are perfectly linked, letting me by the end of the book in need for more.

If you love paranormal books you will love this!
Cage has recovered from his sickness when he gave his soul shard to the wrong person but he still doesn't have his dragon. He knows that he has to go into hell to save his true mate.
Azy didn't leave hell with the others because she feels as if she needs to get Fallon out of hell and away from her father.
This book has an epic battle happening between the demon dragons against Jett, Azy, Fallon and Cage. There are also different scenes involving the mer, Ninsy, the white witch as well as the other mates. So many things going on in this book to keep you reading without putting it down.
I liked Cage, sometimes Azy got on my nerves because she went about things in a "pushy" sort of way. But I guess that is her personality and what makes Cage ultimately fall in love with her.
Join in with the rest of us Aidy Award addicts and read this series. You won't be disappointed that you did.

Opposites Do Attract!!
Who knew a Golden Dragon and a Mermaid were destined to be mates. Cage Gylden knew it, but with Azynsa that is another story. The two of them have not even met yet. The odds are stacked against them from the start. Azynsa was captured by the Black Dragon and taken to Hell, literally. Cage has had to train furiously to be battle ready so he can rescue his Mate. That proves to be difficult as he has lost his ability to shift into a Dragon.
This story is jam packed with battles and blood lust combat as Cage desperately needs to conquer the Black Dragon to say his Mate Azynsa. As always Aidy Award delivers exciting action, humor and let's not forget, sexy hotness thrown in for good measure.
The story has us wondering if Cage and Azynsa will find each other and have their own HEA.

This is a series that needs to be read in order.
I admit that I mistakenly read this series out of order having seen a teaser for Baby Me that interested me but found I needed to read Cage Me first. I read Cage Me, then Baby Me and then went back to read from book one.
I enjoyed this book but not as much as Bite Me. It did have action and heat but not as much, I did like that Cage moved from his ancestral home from Denmark (even though it was destroyed) to coastal Spain which works not only better for his Mate Azy (a Mermaid) and himself who needs the sun.
It was also fun that the newest mated pair was the first to get pregnant given the sex-drives of all these dragons. It was also interesting how fast the gestation was for a dragon/mermaid baby. I look forward to reading Baby Me to see the birth of these little ones.

This is Cage Me, book 3 of the Dragons Love Curves series, written by Aidy Award. This series is about these hot AF dragon shifters and their battle against evil as they search for their fated mates. It’s a magical fantasy that will have you hot and steamy as you read of their exploits. I came upon this author due to the attending author list for those being in Indy this coming August.
I mostly enjoyed this series. I've already read them all. Just catching up on reviews lol.
It did get extremely annoying that it's brought up that the MFC are bigger. It's seems like it's brought up every chapter. If it wasn't on repeat I'd have given these books a easy 5 star.
For this book I love Cage and Azynsa. I loved how Azynsa wouldn't abandoned her friend, even when it meant she could expect hell and find her mate. She stuck by what was right until Cage came and rescued them both. Of course those bad 🍑 women assistance in the rescue.
Spice level for this book is probably 3/4 of a pepper.

Nothing more disappointing then reading a mate book and the very first bit you read is about him screwing another woman. Even worse he’s now interacting with that succumbs again even though he knows who his mate is. Yet he’s still considering letting the succumbs he screwed, drink his blood and get her hands on him again. Completely distasteful and a middle finger to the mate lifestyle and romance. I obviously didn’t read past the first chapter because of that. It killed any possible romance for him and his mate and when they’re intimate I’ll be thinking about him and this succubus just did the exact same thing just very recently.

Wow the series just gets better with each book
Mermaids mermen, Dragon shifters, demons, Dragon demons. Cage a golden Dragon shifter was tricked by a succubus into giving his soul shard to her. Cage lost his ability to shift and was dying until his mate Asy who had been kidnapped and held in Hell and was given his soul shard that Cage began to heal. He goes to hell to save Asy from the black dragon and demon dragons when it all goes awry. I highly recommend this book and series.

Azy is really really annoying! Too desperate to prove she’s not a helpless female!
Cage was my favourite character in Ciara’s book. He was light hearted and funny. In his book he’s needy and demanding. Not helped by the fact that Azy his mate is really annoying!!! She’s so determined to prove that she’s not a helpless female but she’s obviously not as strong as a dragon. The way that Cage thinks about her before they meet I thought it was going to be really hot. It wasn’t. A lot of spelling mistakes as well and missing words.

I loved this book. Azy and Cage were cute and I'm looking forward to the novella that follows. I kinda wish this book was longer and included a little more focus on the romance (as well as the plot), but it by no means failed in getting the good, yummy, gooey, romantic feelings across. Azy is kind of a badass and I'm a little sad she isn't a real person. 😅

Cage is a dragon searching for his fated mate named Azynsa who is a mermaid who has been captured. She is currently in hell. She was taken by demon dragons because she is a fated mate to the leader of the gold dragons. He fought his way to rescue her.
I love a good plus size romance and Aidy Award has delivered. This is a good opposites attract story about a dragon and a mermaid. I love how strong and independent Azynsa is. Cage is a great alpha who is stubborn and protective.

A whole lot of anger
A huge black dragon is super angry. His son, also a black dragon is also ticked off but at dad. Dad makes an army of demon dragons that are up tight and ticked off, but to him they're dispensable. Cage is a gold dragon and is angry because his soul shard was stolen, then he must save his mate but he can't turn into a dragon. And......yep the anger goes on and sometimes leads to amazing S$#. Do you get the beginning of a happy ever after? Umm......yep 🤓. Enjoy

Bad ass woman & the dragon who loves her!
Loved Azy & Cage! She is so courageous staying in hell to help someone she just met! And Cage is pretty cool, if a little too alpha at times.
The different species and how they interact is very interesting. And I’m looking forward to the next book! I do believe we’ve met a certain red dragon’s mate. Can’t wait to hear that story cause she has really been thru it!

This series is just so much fun. Besides all the dragons you have mermaids, demons and so much more. And when it comes to finding and protecting their mates, the dragons won’t ever stop. This one has one feisty mermaid that doesn’t need saving. Instead she is trying to save another tortured soul. But tell that to the dragon that is to be her mate. Lots of fighting and action. The romance is amusing to watch. Can’t get enough of this series.

So loving this series. One minute it has you laughing then holding your breath. Cage was a gold dragon and he was looking for his mate, who was half mermaid, he had to rescue her from the Black Dragon, who lived in a volcano, hell for a mermaid. Cage was a warrior, a fighter, and so it seems was his mate, she had gotten away, still in the volcano, but hiding from the Black Dragon and his demons. Really good book.

Literally couldn't put it down!!
I loved this story from start to finish!! I love the perfect blend of drama, action, love & humor, every other minute I was laughing hysterically!! I have to say, as a biracial woman, I'm especially happy when the characters are of different races, feels more inclusive. Concerns & insecurities all us curvy girls can emphasize with that makes these women so relatable, also another reason I love this series!! Definitely worth a read

Good book
This is my favorite so far of the first 4 books in the series. Azy is the kind of strong, confident heroine that I prefer reading about. Lots of good action right from the start. Less deliberation & insecurities inside their heads. The bigger plot progresses along well in this book. I thought I would jump to the last main books after this but now I’m thinking I’ll give the next book in the series a try.

Cage and Azy are wonderful together and the road they traveled to get there was long and torturous and filled with nasties along the way. Azy is so strong and firm in her beliefs and Cage is so protective that you just don’t think they will work never mind that you have a mermaid and a dragon as mates! Aidy weaves a strong story with lots of action and in the end love prevails and they have their happily ever after!

I just love Azy's fighting spirit. She is a fierce & loyal mermaid to stay behind for Fallyn. The fact that even though they haven't met & she is so protective of Cage just demands her loyalty.
I do love that Azy turned the tables on Cage and took charge of what she wanted, but I am glad that Cage woke up to what he was doing wrong. I love how all the shifters are coming together to help defeat the Black Dragon.

Not to mention the rarely explored emotions of a man who wants love so badly, he's made some of the same mistakes attributed to women. These characters are so lovable and I'm looking forward to what comes next for them.
