Not my cuppa...girl got pregnant after a ONS with a disgusting guy the H hated. I feel like the girl latched on to the H because he treated her well. The series is interesting though so I plan to read the next ones.

This was an instant love story
The attraction between Ella and Lincoln feels almost primal from the beginning.
I enjoyed that Lincoln was a softy at heart. Despite his job he still was insecure of himself- not in a 'does my butt look good' way but more an 'is it me or the fame and the money ' kind of way. He was level headed and intelligent. Took the time to step back and evaluate a problem from all angles before making a decision (except for when it came to Ella). Not sure why he kept the gf, though I think it may have just been a comfort thing?
Ella -The innocence that surrounds Ella felt a bit much at times - she is young and naive and it definitely shows in her decision-making skills.
The story is sweet with just the right touch of angst and icky villain that you will love to loathe

New series Men of Measure by LS Anders begins with Six Pack. Names are pretty obvious but I'm not complaining, I love LS's hot male characters. The new series is about male strippers, each book will tell a story of one of the men, who entertain ladies for living.
Ella has been forced to leave everything behind to one reckless night. She's traveling to Las Vegas because she has no other choice but to take responsibility for her actions and hope that others will too.
Lincoln aka Six Pack strips strictly for the money. He is an ambitious man and has his goals set high, working his ass off to reach his dreams.
Ella didn't come to Vegas to meet Lincoln. Lincoln wasn't supposed to care for a girl soaked in rain. But their paths crossed and as intimidating as it feels to both of them, neither can deny the chemistry that they share.
Until that point, I was very happy with the story. I think that LS's writing and storytelling keeps getting better book by book and I really like her writing.
But when the story advanced, I started to reject the heroine and when the final page came, I was left with mixed emotions. The writing as such was good as were LS's choice of words and phrases, the technical aspect of the story flow was very good. But the storyline, it made me cringe because it was too much of a fairytale instead of real life. When a HEA is too happy and not plausible at all, it is a turn off. When all the stars align at the moment the heroine meets the hero and by the end all the troubles are washed away, the story loses some of its credibility. But I'm not giving up on the series, there were few glimpses of the other Men of Measure and I'm intrigued what their stories will be like.

Six Pack had me drawn in from page one.!! The description of the male strippers had me fanning myself. I was getting all hot and bothered. I found myself crying and wanting to go through the book and punch someone. Then at last happiness for Ella and Lincoln. Ella and Lincoln were ment to be from the start. Oh how I loved them.
Lincoln works in a club as a stripper. He only works there to get through college. He wants to be an accountant. Men of Measure strip for money. But sometimes things can go a little to far. That's where Tonto comes in. He thinks he's all that and then some. Then in comes Ella. She hooked up with Tonto when they were in her hometown. When Tonto turns her down and don't care what kind of condition she is in, here comes Lincoln to save her. Will Ella and Lincoln form a friendship? Will Lincoln send her on her way?
Six Pack is well written by L S Anders and Eva Black. It has drama and romance that unfolds throughout the book. The writing in the book does not disappoint. I highly recommend this book. I loved it.

This is a new series from LS Anders, and I wasn't disappointed with this the first book in the Men of Measure series.

When he met Ella in The Men of Measure Strip Club, she was still reeling from the one-night stand that had brought her there their paths crossed.
This book is well written and the characters involved make you want to carry on reading. This was a read all at once book for me and I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Well, what can I say... this collaboration by LS Anders and debut author Eva Black is a truly fabulous read. Lincoln - a male stripper, offers to help Ella - a young woman with a secret, who arrives at the male strip club, Men of Measure in search of one of their number. After an excruciatingly embarrassing meeting with the person responsible for her current situation, Ella is at a loss for what to do. Cue Lincoln. Explanations are eventually forthcoming and a spark, they have both been trying to ignore, refuses to die. I'm not giving anything else away... go on grab your own copy, you won't regret it!
This story has everything I love in a romance - beautifully written, great plot, lively pace, and strong cast of characters. I cannot wait for the next one in this series!

I absolutely loved Ella and Lincoln's story! I was pulled in from the first few pages and didn't want to put it down. Ella didn't win the family lottery and had a crummy childhood. When she finds herself young, alone, and with a "problem" her mom kicks her out. I loved the resolve Ella had and her determination to make it on her own. Lincoln is the opposite of what you would think of a male stripper. He's in no way full of himself, cares about others, and put their needs first. The two of them together, while steamy, were also cute. I was happy with how everything turned out for them. I can't wait to read about more of the Men of Measure!

Looking for a new book boyfriend? Six Pack of the Men of Measure is swoon worthy. Lincoln, working at the club to make money while he goes to school to get his masters degree is a regular geeky, glasses type guy in reality. One night at the club he happens on a small altercation at the door of the club with a cute petite girl named Ella. Ella a girl a long way from home no money no where to stay came to talk to a man she only seen one night. Being turned away from the door she is sitting in the pouring rain with no where to go. Six can’t let this young lady brave the elements all night so he swoops in like a knight in shining armor. Well now you have to read the rest of the story yourself. It had me at the first page. Enjoy.

I loved this story. Lincoln stole my heart with the way he took care of Ella. It is hard enough to love someone, and the ups and downs life sends a couples way that helps them grow together or split. It was amazing that he was the kind of man that could look at her and see her for the person she was and not for the bad judgement she made one night. Ella being strong in going and facing the results of a bad decision and happening on her love was great. It takes a big person to accept another person's child. I know that in my heart when I read the end I was able to know that Lincoln and Ella made a wonderful life together and had a big family.

Lincoln - nerdy by day and Full Monty at night. He is looking for so much more than just being a stripper. Ella - only a few days into adulthood and is carrying more than just hopes and dreams. She has set herself up to find answers she does not want to hear from a loser who is only in it for the cheap woman. Can one freak encounter put them both on a path neither one expected? Can you find a future with a stranger? With beautifully written characters and an storyline that had me hooked from the opening chapters this was a fabulous book. LS Anders and Eva Black have created a world i need to read more of and i cannot wait for future installments.

Book one in the Men of Measure series. Told in dual POV with HEA. Men of Measure is a strip club in Las Vegas and Six Pack is the stage name of one of the male strippers. There is good back story given on both Lincoln and Ella. Even though their relationship takes place over a short period of time there is plenty of dialogue and time spent together pulling you into their story. Not as steamy as I would expect a story about a stripper to be, it concentrates more on their growing relationship. I look forward to reading more books in this series!

I have to say I didn’t understand immediately where LS Anders was going with this story. It presents as a story u have already read about many time, but then, you are thrown in her very particular world, that makes her job something very outstanding. As in All the others books she wrote till now, and am very first arc reader, and on of her biggest fun, this journey with Colin and Ella is an experience, with her incredible touch, you feel transported in a different life and dream till the last word. Love it....

Wow, this book is nothing short of brilliant. I could not put it down. Lincoln is a nerdy, hot as sin, exotic dancer. He has made accounting and glasses be sexier than I could have ever imagined. Ella is young, naive, sweet as can be but alone and stranded in Vegas. The instant connection between the two of them is unmistakable and undeniable. You will get swept away in their story and swoon hard-core for Lincoln. I can not wait to see what the other dancers have in store for us...bring on the Men of Measure...

Lincoln and Ella are a couple you don't expect to work but do. She is in a bad place when they meet and he offers her the chance for the love and support she desperately needs.
It is a very well written story and I enjoyed it. I like that they both tell the story so I can feel closer to the characters. I really liked Lincoln who is a good guy who works hard to pay the bills. He is not like some of the others there who take advantage of their looks.

As a part time stripper and part time college student Lincoln is living the dream. But when he crossed paths with Ella he is forever changed. A one night stand mistake has led her where she is now. She didn't count on Lincoln being her saving grace in every way. But when a psycho ex girlfriend tears her ugly head it's Ella who is caught in the crosshairs. I'm usually not able to get into a story where the main is a bit immature and so young but somehow she did it. Caught my Interest, held it and kept me involved til the end!
Looks like I have a new series to keep an eye out for. Some especially caught my ummm, eye, lol. I'll be checking the next ones out for sure.

LS Anders is a great author who I have been following and now with this book, I have another author to follow, Eva Black. This co-written story is great. I loved the characters, Lincoln and Ella. Some drama but not overdone. This book kept me turning the pages. I'll definitely be waiting for the next book in this series!

First things first I have a new BBF seriously Lincoln is such a sweetheart(everyone deserves a Lincoln). I love Ella she is adorable you just wanted to jump in and give her a hug!! They were awesome together. I loved the story, it was absolutely amazing.

What an amazingly, well written book. I adore the relationship between Ella and Lincoln. They were adorable and passionate. The story was very well told and I enjoyed every moment of it. I am totally looking forward to whichever Man of Measure comes next!!

There are a lot of guys like "Tonto" out there and hopefully some women find the nice ones like Lincoln. L.S. Anders writes good books and this series seems to be just as good as the Mystical Ink series.

Lincoln and Ella May be young, but they show a maturity that I appreciated as a reader. Lincoln has a good heart and helps Ella and offers her friendship and support when she needs it most. Their relationship developed at a believable pace, and I liked the way his family and coworkers were written. Can’t wait for the next Men of Measure book to come out!! 🥰

He's a male stripper in Las Vegas. He has a plan and is living his dream. She is in town to deliver some news and completely out of her element. Of course since it's a stripper who does the full monty you would think it's all about the sex right??!! WRONG!! And that right there is why I absolutely without fail FLOVE this author and why it's a no brainer to one click her books. This isn't a book about how much sex they can have and how many details the author can give it's a story about two people who find themselves. Their time is spent getting to know each other and all that comes with it. It's an amazing read from an author who loves to write books about characters who have to dig deep for their hea's and this is no different. He helps her in so many ways and she completes him when he didn't know he was lacking. Love these two and can't wait to read more on the Men of Measure.
