I suppose I’m not the right target audience for this book but I picked it up thinking that maybe it would be applicable to leaders in all fields and at all levels.
But I was so wrong.
This is an extremely corporate book for extremely corporate people. It’s an easy read but not an enjoyable one. In essence, it’s about what people with big salaries might do when they get bored or annoyed with their job. I suppose the suggestions make sense for such “leaders” but they’re applicable to few other people if any at all.
The book is also long and stretched, riddled with unnecessary repetition of the same few points. Some of the highlighted issues don’t seem to be issues at all but just well-crafted life events to seem like problems.
TLDR; read this book if you want a close look at the corporate world and especially at the lives of senior management. If you identify as a leader in any other field or position, then it’s not for you.
Writing this as a note for me to refer later rather than a review. Ritu highlights that leaders do get blocked and also provides a framework for options to come out of it: (Block) 1. Big picture 2. Let is pass 3. Opinion 4. Change of lane 5. Kinship

Very good book and talks about leader's block, ways to detect it, and how to come across it. Few examples in the last chapter helps with good and relatable situations.
