Around the world, people view the butterfly as a symbol of change, hope, and powerful representations of life. Similarly, the wives of Lyfe Road are no longer stagnant and are ready for their metamorphosis to take place. The time for complacency is over and the wives are ready to break free of their chains. Rachel, Miranda, Prue, Freya, and Rain are back in this second installment of 'The Wives Quartet' and are ready to take charge of their lives and step out of the broken record they once called life. Less than a week after the explosive events of the first novel, the five friends are attempting to pick up the pieces of their lives. Rachel is in mourning, Miranda is conflicted, Prue is in disbelief, Freya is enraged, and Rain is disconcerted. Lyfe Road, the suburban street they live on, is about to get a little more interesting. Restlessness was the beginning, but now it's time for a change.

a quick read! the storytelling really pulled me in! also, im glad that it came out so soon after the first book! glad i didnt have to wait long! also the ENDING! OMG!
I wanted to give spoilers but I’m not. While these women got on my nerves again and so did their husbands, the story was another page turner. I’m about to start book 3 because I can’t wait to see what happens next and I’m Nosey 😂. I feel like I’m watching my own neighbors lives unfold. Good job Dr. DeMoir, keep them coming!
What a rollercoaster ride! I'm a little biased since I wrote the book, but this 2nd entry in the Wives Quartet is juicy, dark, and compelling! Rachel, Miranda, Prue, Freya, and Rain are BACK are on their own individual journeys to freedom, but not everyone is prepared for what's about to happen!
wow! I absolutely LOVED this second installment! the ending...I won't spoil it, but I wasn't expecting it. I could see the growth in every woman and love rain taking center stage (it felt like this was HER journey and most important). left me on a cliffhanger. can't wait for the 3rd book! Finished reading this one in a few days
I was ridiculously surprised at how much I loved this book. I really could see the growth in each of the characters but Rain and Prue shined in this one. Surprisingly Rachel seemed to fall to the background a bit. I dunno if tht was intentional or not but it was nice seeing variation.
SHOCKED at the ending! honestly this was such an intense book that I had to stop and start it. was a hard read due to the content but it was all meaningful. i wonder if the author is intentionally making a character the focal of each book. if so rain was the main wife this time, but prue was a close 2nd. i was truly pleased and cant wait until the 3rd book
Mr S! oh why u do that? it's a good book...I cant believe them ladies wilding. but uu have to make ah part 3. I don't even read books like Tht So Uu Know Uu Ah great author!!-
