The only reason I didn’t read this book in one setting is because I came home from vacation sick. Generally I read all her books at once. This book will tear at your heart because two people who should be together have so many outside factors tearing them apart. If you only read books for the sex and chemistry, this one has plenty. Or if you are like me and feel like you live in town with all these characters it will be like seeing in to your friends lives. This book like all the others won’t disappoint.

I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

Man in Queue is part 2 of a series and not a standalone book. For the story to make sense, please read Lady in Waiting before starting this book.

The story picks up directly from the ending of Lady in Waiting where we were left on a bit of a 'cliffhanger'. And what a surprise development and direction that takes!
This story delves deeper into the fast developing relationship between Regan and Alex. In this edition we get to meet Alex' family, which gives us more insight into his character, as well as seeing how Regan fits into the dynamics.
The sexual chemistry between these two is palpable, but their secrets can't help but twist and twine through their relationship, ultimately leading to the explosive final chapter.

This story had me smiling and crying and my heart soaring and breaking. You can see what is happening and almost want to step in and stop it before it happens.

If you have read the Enigma series, you will want to pick up Lady in Waiting and Man in Queue.
I personally can not wait for the next book in this series.

As always with Shandi's books, the storyline runs true, the characters are deep and the sex scenes are steamy, and you can't help but become invested in both the story and the characters.

This second installment of the Infinite Time trilogy picks up exactly where ‘Lady in Waiting’ left off. As the danger surrounding Regan appears to have been neutralized, Alex soon realizes that they’ve barely scratched the tip of the iceberg. As he struggles to secretly investigate his hunches, he’s also trying to keep Regan safe and in the dark. How long will his luck hold out when he realizes he’s become a pawn in someone else’s endgame? There’s plenty of suspense, drama, intrigue, secrets, deceptions and betrayals along with several seriously steamy encounters in this well written story. I’m looking forward to the conclusion of this entertaining page-turner in ‘Couple on Hold’.

Picks right up with the suspense and chemistry and ends on another cliffhanger

Man in Queue picks up where Lady in Waiting ends and this second book is just as wonderful and fascinating as the first in the series. The relationship between Regan and Alex is growing and getting deeper, in more ways than one. But there are still many twists and turns in the story which impact their relationship, along with things being hidden and many deceptions. The story continues to be suspenseful and also has a large sexual chemistry component between the Regan and Alex. I am so looking forward to the final book in this series to see how the author ties it all up at the end.

I was so excited to finally get to read the next book in this series. Shandi doesn’t disappoint in any of her books. I was feeling like I was right there watching everything play out in real life. Alex will do everything to keep Rae safe. Though his feelings for her are starting to get in the way. Between him investigating Isaac and being a agent it’s hard to let Rae know everything. Will to many deceptions or half truths ruin what Alex and Rae have or could have? There is several twist and turns with this book. Between the suspense and hot sex scenes you can’t put this book down. Shandi has done it again!!!

Can I start with an OMG!!!

The story continues as Alex and Reagan continues as their push pull chemistry intensifies. There are twists and turns that have you unable to put this book down. Alex feels the need to protect Reagan. No matter how he tries to hold back he can't. Reagan being the go and get them type of gal she is, drives him to open up his heart. The sex between these two is off the charts hot!!!
Things happened that had me saying, "Holy Shit!!"

Shandi Boyes once again doesn't disappoint and articulates a story so well it has you wanting more.

Ok Shandi.....It's as simple as this. I need the next book stat!!!!

A Definite Must Read!!!

This story picks up right where the last one left off. Alex is still trying to keep Regan safe and not let her know what's going on. Regan continues to work with the enemy blind to what's happening. Can Alex be completely honest about what's happening with Regan? Will Regan walkaway from everything and everyone?

This is another amazing installment to this series. It'll have you on the edge of you seat and leave you wanting more at the end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

An amazing written story that will send you on a wild rollercoaster ride leaving your heart aching and begging for the next book.

Alex & Rae have such an instant connection both sexual and emotionally, the both of them still fighting to be in control making for some very hot and sexy sex scenes
with them both sharing only half truths about them themselves putting them both through doubt and heartache and
misinterpreting someone's actions

The secondary characters in this story made the story feel more relatable

Infinite Time Trilogy Book 2. What an action packed story that continues from Book 1. Rae and Alex find themselves haunted by half truths that continue to destroy their fragile relationship. Alex is trying everything to protect Rae while Rae discovers secrets that have been twisted around the truth that drive her to take action that will leave her shattered. This has so many twists and turns that leaves you emotionally frustrated with both characters and hoping that past actions and current betrayals will be resolved before all hope is lost. I can't wait for Book 3 to get my answers.

Ooooook I’m dying to give my favorite details BUT I won’t because you NEED to read this book for yourself!!!

This is part two of this series and it’s only got HOTTER! The chemistry is off the charts and the interactions are steamy!

The story line is complex and Shandi always manages to have all these pieces and then magically put them together in the end. THEN she leaves you wanting more by the very end!!!

I promise this doesn’t disappoint so go download and read it ASAP... because book 3 will be coming 😉

First love

they have an encounter which really shouldn't have happened. Alex is obsessed with Isaac and taking him down. Then he saw Rae in stage and his world just tilted. He was totally head or heels but things didn't work as they should. He helped her escape and all these years she hasn't seen him. He saved her from jail and she continued living her life. Isaac gave her a job and all is right in world until Alex walked back in. They started a bit affair but it's not going right and it was forced to halt. Now May be can they get back together?

Continued immediately from the cliffy from the previous book, Rae and Alex continue to batter with their relationship as they are both stubborn, talented, and strong willed. Not willing to trust each other completely, with intrigue and loyalties tested, this book ends with another cliffy.
I hate cliffys, but I love the stories this author pulls me into time and time again. Truly worth the time to read as this author keeps me wanting more and more!

Just wanting to see Reagan and Alex together already. This book takes us to Texas and Virginia and to Florida and with it a lot of issues with the couple. Reagen finally finds out what Alex does for a living and is pissed because she thinks he was spying on her. She makes Alex think she cheated on him with Issac and then she moves back to Texas. Alex gets Theresa removed from her position snd his dad informs him that the bureau wants him to take over the position, but he refuses.....now on to the next book and hopefully the couple finds each other for good!

Shandi never disappoints! Even though Lady in Waiting ended with a slight cliffhanger, book 2 picks up right where it ended and takes us on one hell of a ride! If you thought book 1 had your emotions all over, just wait until you read this book. I felt joy, love, laughter, heartache, betrayal, dreadful, hot and bothered, etc....basically this book covers every feeling/emotion possible. The two alphas in this book are still battling and compromising on their relationship and some secrets are slowly being revealed but only time will tell as to if these two get their happily ever after. The ending will leave you speechless and yes it’s a cliffhanger and to me it feels like one of the largest turning points in this story. I cannot wait to see how Shandi guides us through it all in book 3!!!

The story picks back up at the church, with a crazed woman. Yep she’s crazy all right and not a single person in the church was expecting that outcome. It seems like three steps forward and two steps back each time Alex and Rae are closer to accepting their relationship. All the deceptive behaviour is clouding their surroundings and just when you think you have things figured out, things take a turn down a twisty road.

Another great addition to the Infinite Time Trilogy. Lady In Waiting needs to be read before this one.

In this one we get to meet Alex's side of the family, and see how he grew up. I loved the Roger's clan.

Alex and Regan had even more heat, and sexual chemistry. Their scenes were sizzling. I loved these two together. Their bickering was hilarious.

This one is definitely a must read

There is only so long you can hide the lies before they blow up in your face thats this story all over. Lies and omissions of truth causes deceit and heartache for all concerned.

This could all have been avoided but would the outcome be different I don't know what I do know is there are a lot more to come to light before this story is over and I can't wait.

Absolutely loving Rae and Alex's trilogy these two are dynamite together.

Much is revealed in this book, but not enough! I found myself speeding up as I read and wanting to shout at the characters and bang their heads together to make them see reason. So many are not what they seem and it is secrets that threaten relationships. I am on tenterhooks waiting for the final book.

Alex and Rae are joined at the hip. This book proves the danger of half truths and omissions 'because it will hurt them'. What a wild ride. If you like to read romance that includes some intrigue, some mystery and a few very hot lovin'....you found it. But Shandi....release book 3 before I implode.

This book picks up right where Lady In Waiting ends so in this series all books must be read in order. This installment was fantastic there were twists that only Shandi could spin. I think I was the only one not surprised by the ending I saw it coming a mile away. It still was a great continuation to the story with lots of delicious steam 🤤

This is such a heart wrenching 2nd book of trilogy.
I was caught up in it totally. It takes up right where
Lady in Waiting left off. I was sooo into these characters that I cried and rejoiced within an hour of reading. I still had yet to finish at that point!!
Shandi Boyes knows how to get a character under your skin in two seconds flat. Loved it!! Looking forward to the ending in book 3.

So many secrets

This series... I'm not sure if my heart can handle it. Seeing things from a different point of view gives a while new perspective. It feels like a totally different story. My mind is blown on how this author accomplished this. Love Alex and Reagan.

Since the Lady in waiting aka the previous book ended in cliffhanger I would definitely recommend to read that one first. This one was as amazing and thrilling as the first. You will smile, you will cry, emotions will be very high in this one.

After finishing book 1 I delved straight into book 2. This continues Alex and Regan’s story and the author uses this book to do some more character building for us so that they have more depth to them. Lots of twists and turns in this installment. Off to book 3!

Emotionally compelling, intriguing

Rae, the heroine of this book just can't seem to catch a break. The struggle of feeling like everything bad is your fault. Alex thinks he can protect but will everything he is hiding find their way to the surface. The book was hard to put down. It was very captivating.

Omg I can tell why Alex is so angry. He never had his chance to explain to Rae about his job. He also could see that issac is innocent but the fact that he is still holding on to Danes injury and needing someone to blame is what is holding him back from fully letting go of the past and being in the moment with Rae.
