I thought I knew danger, I was wrong. That wicked potion was just the beginning. I feel strong with Tuck by my side, but we’re in way over our heads. We need heavenly Fire. It’s the only thing that can destroy Alataris’ crown. And we can’t beat him any other way. That crown is the seat of his power…and I’m going to take it from him.
This is my deadliest mission yet, but I’m out of options and out of time. I have to stop running from him and face my father head on with everything I’ve got. He thinks he’ll win, he thinks I’ll buckle after he summons the ultimate evil. But he has no idea what I’d do to protect the people I love. I will take him down, even if I die with him.
This is a family affair and it’s time I show my father just how Wicked a Queen can be…
Such an amazing finish to the first season of an awesome series. Everything that I hoped would happen happened and I can’t wait to see what the next season holds. There are some minor grammar issues but the storyline def makes up for it.

Magical.
I do not know how even to begin to explain my emotions in this book as I said it, magical. This series has become one of my favorite series; the only regret is that I did not read it sooner. I loved Zinnia & Tucker’s story, and it is almost impossible not to fall in love with the two of them. I was so happy that they were finally able to complete the ceremony. I was wondering when they would. I loved the scenes between the two of them and seeing how much their relationship developed since the first book. I cannot imagine having to hide the relationship the way that Tucker and Zinnia had. I wanted them to finally be together and not have to hide because it is forbidden. Even though I am sure that it did not take everyone long to figure out. I loved the ceremony, and I felt as if I was there along with them, feeling all the love that Tucker and Zinnia felt for each other at that moment. I am glad that she found Tucker; she needed someone like that in her life. Besides her mom and Ophelia, I do not think that anyone loved her the way that Tucker does. I love the bond between the two of them. Now that I finished the book, I do wonder what happens to them next.
Ophelia, I think she is another favorite character. I do believe that besides Zinnia, she is another character that went through a significant transformation, just the way that she acts. I am also curious about what is going to happen with her next. I am curious about all the characters. I love the bond that Zinnia and her mom share, it reminded me a lot of relationship with my mom. It is a special bond. My heart broke for Zinnia when she had to make a hard decision, and I loved how her mom supported her, telling her that she could do it. I hoped that she would be able to defeat Alataris and that her mom would be okay. WICKED QUEEN was a breathtaking conclusion and everything that I hoped it would be. I do believe that WICKED QUEEN was the most action-packed and most intense book out of the series so far. That big battle against Alataris, oh man, so many emotions were going through me at that moment. I could not put the book down at that moment, even if I wanted to.
That ending… Wow. Now I want to see what happens in the next season. This is going be a series that I will re-read in the future; I even recommended to few of my friends already. It is a book that will stay with you after you turn the last page. The emotions in these books, it feels as I am there along with the characters; it feels as if they become my friends. MEGAN MONTERO will pull you in from the beginning, until you reach the last book, making you craving for more afterward. I still cannot get the story out of my mind. If you love fantasy, young adult, magic, and romance, be sure to check this series out.

This has been such an exciting series and I feared it was ending. I am SOOO glad that it is not over yet. Man did they have their hands full again. I love Kumi. She has such a wicked sense of humor and Ophelia tastes like ice cream. Besides all of the life and death situations they face on almost a daily basis, they still have time to have fun. Ophelia is one of my favorites, she is really enjoying being a sister an likes even the sister fights. Tuck and Zinnia's relationship is no longer a secret, but "no ask, no tell" works just fine. The trials they faced with the angels was funny too. Always calling Hades when he's in the shower, cracked me up. This is an outstanding series and I can't wait until Wicked Omen. Beckett is slowly coming out of his shell with the team of Queens and the Knights. I requested an advanced reader copy and am under no obligation to leave this review.
The battle between the queens and Atalaris comes to a head in the final book of this series. Zin takes on a role she never wanted, but to tip the scales in their favour, there really isn't a choice. Several characters grapple with some tough decisions, and it takes courage to see certain ones through and to let others go. For the newly crown queen of the Witch Court, the decisions and responsibilites weigh heaviest when she is asked to do more than should ever be asked of a 17yo. In the end, good may triumph over evil, but not everyone's a winner, and it's possible that the queens might have set in motion an even bigger battle, though unintentionally. But any new battle will have to wait as Zin sets out to find a solution, to save someone she loves, that can only be found in a place completely opposite to the one she's barely come to know; the Warlock Court,
Wow!!! Where to start? I won't make any spoilers, not my style. But this final book in the series was truly a mindblowing finale! Action is everywhere, emotions run high, relationships are revealed and everything falls neatly in place. Or does it? There are issues that yet need to be resolved. What will happen with Zinnia's mother? How is Emma able to see what she couldn't see before? And what is the meaning of the Fallens' cryptic message? Stay tuned for Megan Montero's next series and find out!!!
Awesome ending to series! Wicked Omen here I come.
Epic ending. Zinnia finally through trial & error finds a way to save her mom from death. The team has to prevent Alataris from creating a portal to bring Hades to New York city. And also keep Alataris from revealing Nevermore to the humans. Zinnia learns how to hold on to her powers & block anyone from siphoning her powers. I will leave the decision the Queens make together as to who will rule Nevermore as secret. You have to have a reason to read the book! Enjoy, the ending is so great.
Zin and the other Queens are tasked with taking down her father to save Evermore. They have alot of obstacles that they must overcome in order to accomplish this. This book is just amazing, it picks up right where the last one ended and just keeps going and going. This might be the end of Tucker and Zin's story, but we have a whole lot more to come because of the Fallens cryptic comments. I so need the next installment now. You really need to read this series
Other books - 3 days each. This book 3 weeks. I simply had to force myself to read it and finish this series. Good book, still. Not as engaging as it could have been. Megan is an extremely talented author. I love her narration. But this one lacked a bit of humour, suspense, surprise and this kind of a twist a freshness that I found in her other positions. Still solid four stars if you like this type of books.
Wow is the best way to describe this last book in The Royals: The Witch Series. I was so into this book I didn't realize I was at the end until I got to the last page. Queen Zinnia is such an exciting character. You have to be pulling for her when she has to face off against the worst man alive. Even though he is her father she stands strong and tall against him. Letting him win was not an option.
Omg!!!! This book was so good. So much going on . The group has gone through hell and back . They deserve a little break but of course the douche canoe has to continue his issues. I’ve laughed, cried for and been pissed along with the characters I’m gonna miss them but can’t wait for season two. P.S. Must Read

This last book in Zinnia and Tuckers story and it was everything and so much more!!! They know they have to defeat her dad at all costs and try to find a way to save her mom and everything else in between. I could not put down at all and loved every second of it. Just so great!!!
I don't even know where to begin. Dang Megan! We start back up with Zinnia and Tucker getting ready to get the sword blessed with holy fire. They really go through some stuff, oh and some angels are in the mix as well. Catherine...ugh. I have mixed feeling about the ending. No spoilers but dang!
Highly entertaining, action packed and engaging adventure filled with danger, intriguing charters, magical secrets and heart pounding twists... was a exciting read from beginning to end that kept me on the edge of my seat. Great reading experience.
I love how this series just goes along from one book to the next seamlessly... Still love Zin and Tucker... Nice wrap up of the series, all secrets finally out..
The gang has figured out they need to destroy Alataris' crown if they have any hopes of defeating him. They've also figured out that Zin's mom Catherine is soul-bound to Alataris so if he dies so does she. This conclusion is all about the gang gearing up for the final battle.
We have destroyed his crown, but if we destroy him it will kill my Mother. We need to find something to break the soulmate bond. We put mom in suspended animation till we can find a way to break the bond.
It’s a good closure for a lovely story. All the fights the queen witches and their knights struggled have been colored by great scenarios and adventures in a fast pacing narrative.
This book took you on a major ride to the finish of the kings rule. But there is still more to come and a new evil to face. Have no clue what yet but can't wait for more.
