A tad too much fan service in this for my liking, especially Erza's storyline. However, there are some fun moments, good action sequences, and a nice pace that keeps things moving. The villains are cool when it comes to magical powers, and I can't wait to learn more about them. Overall fun, but it could benefit from a little less fan service.

So… turns out I just could wait to read the second one… so I didn’t!
In this volume, we continue the events of the previous one, in the 100 year quest with our main group. We also have the side story of those back at Fairy Tail guild with their new member Touka, and the rumours around the mysterious ‘white mage’.
I thoroughly enjoyed this volume as much as the first, and I can’t wait to read the third one! But maybe I should… after all, at this time I only have up until 6…
Overall another 5 star manga.

Natsu y los demás pelean contra los Dragon Eaters y pareciera que son tan poderosos como presumen. De hecho, una de ellas “corta” la valentía de Erza y prácticamente la convierte en su víctima, molestándola y haciéndole bullying de mil maneras degradantes.

All I want is for my fairy tail babies to be happy and livong their best lives, and then some freaking dragon eaters and white mages have to come a mess it all up for them. I NEED MY BABIES SAFE. Time for volume 3...

On retrouve nos héros de la guilde dans leur fameuse quête des 100 ans. Et le moins que l’on puisse dire c’est qu’avec eux, on ne s’ennuie pas une seconde! Ils ont vraiment le chic pour se mettre dans mes situations rocambolesques. Au moins on peut dire qu’ils vivent une aventure palpitante!
J’ai beaucoup aimé le premier tome et ce deuxième également. Dans ce tome on apprend ce qu’est véritablement la quête des 100 ans, on a enfin nos réponses à nos questions. Mais on apprend surtout les dangers que cette quête engendre. Ce tome est rempli de combats comme on les aime, chaque page nous tient en haleine jusqu’à la dernière. Et en refermant ce second opus, on a qu’une seule envie c’est se jeter sur la suite.
L’histoire est toujours en deux temps. On suit Natsu et ses compagnons d’un côté et de l’autre on est à la guilde de Fairy Tail avec les autres et on apprend également beaucoup de choses sur le personnage de Touka. Je l’ai trouvé vraiment étrange dans le tome précédent, maintenant je comprends mieux pourquoi. J’aime beaucoup le fait d’avoir deux histoires parallèles comme ça. Ca amène du rythme et ça permet également de tenir un peu de suspense au final.
Ce second tome est à la hauteur du premier. C’est addictif, rempli d’humour, de combats incroyables, les personnages vraiment intéressants et j’en passe. Je vais vite me plonger dans la lecture du troisième tome!

Facing 3 members of the guild Diabolos our heroes are finding themselves greatly challenged as each member has strong powers which were stolen from dragons whom they consumed. Meanwhile back in the mainland Fairy Tails newest member Touka is being targeted by Jellal and Gajeel has his own suspicions that lead to the discovery of her true identity and the danger of her ideals as she fulfills at least part of her goals by the end of the volume as a look on in surprise and anger at the aftermath of her power.
Also want to point out Erza can be really cute at times but it is not right to cut her from her strength. Absolutely heart breaking to see her in the state she was in this volume. There are tender moments and then there are moments of violation when someone is forced into submission because they suddenly find they lack the conviction to resist. Let's see how many others want to see Kiria get her just deserts and maybe a little more for her twisted ways.

This Touka the White Witch plotline is getting interesting. If their motive is preventing destruction by targeting large concentrations of magic, then their grudge against Fairy Tail is totally legit, because if Fairy Tail is known for one thing, then it is causing property damage through magic. Though I wasn’t expecting the separate personalities thing.
The unexpected appearance of Brandish was a pleasant surprise. It was nice to get a little more of an epilogue for the Alvarez war arc. Tsundere Brandish is cute, too.
I can’t say I’m a fan of the other half of the volume, with the Dragon Eaters. Round 1 felt too much like The Worf Effect, and what happened with Erza feels completely unnecessary, through the idea of “I can cut anything, including emotional strength” is an interesting idea, especially how it relates to other magic, such as Erza’s artificial eye and pre-established lore about hypnotic magic.

Natsu, Lucy e compagni se la dovranno vedere con i pericolosi Dragon Eater e i loro poteri oscuri per far sì che non si impossessino del drago dell’acqua. Ma a Fairy Tail la nuova maga Toka preoccupa non solo Gajil, ma anche Gerard e finalmente scopriremo la verità su di lei. Insomma le premesse del primo volume continuano, c’è una buona prosecuzione della storia e nuovi elementi che la rendono avvincente e interessante, non lasciando presagire cosa accadrà nel successivo capitolo e mi piace molto. Inoltre continua ad esserci la stessa atmosfera della serie originale e la cosa mi fa piacere perché non la snatura e anzi è davvero un buon sequel.

Fairy Tail is one of my favorite manga. When I realized the story was continuing, I was so excited. I love that friendship is so important in Fairy Tail. They really are a family. Even Laxus has learned this lesson well.
But although I love Fairy Tail, it is not one I can recommend often. The fan service can be a bit much. We got more of that this volume. How is it that Erza always ends up fighting the pervs? Sigh… it is what it is. At least we know we’ll get a good fight scene when she gets her justice.

As we delve further into the story, we truly understand the proper outcomes of the kind of battles our heroes are facing. And for a very first battle of a second volume, the stakes are already high. The antagonists are already very interesting, and I can't wait to know everything about them. I feel like 100 years quest will be more complex compared to the original manga, and I’m completely here for it.

💫💫💫💫 - 4.5 stars because why is erza… uh… know what? i cant complain too much. i love the story and the characters but at times its too much fan service which is ironic since that’s usually the first thing ill mention when recommending the anime to anyone

Im not a huge fan of graphic reading but with the show now over I just HAD to know what happened next. Honestly this show and Manga is almost perfect - it's just not Fullmetal (my holy grail).
All the Gruvia in these first two volumes TOTALLY makes up for Mashima leading us on for all these years 😂 I just hope the next volume has more Gale

The story was getting intense and interesting. I love the storyline as much as the previous volume. I can’t wait to uncover the next adventure of Fairy Tail. It’s fun to read and quick to consume. There are annoying new characters but they’re making the story more interesting. A good read to be honest.

Again, the perverted illustrations do bother me. I believe fairy tail is so well written that it could stand on its own without the “fan service”.
This continues off of the first book, with most of the volume being action packed. We do see some mysteries from the last volume answered and a reappearance of some old characters.

BRANDISH MAKES A RETURN!! One of my most favourite characters!
I feel myself having feelings I haven’t felt in a while, Fairytail got me through hard times, one of the hardest in my whole life, so going on new adventures with the characters is amazing.
I’ll never get sick of them.

This book is 4 stars for me because it is a book that is filled with action and is a sequel to the fairy tail series, I gave it a 4 stars because it has lots of interesting dialogue , funny parts, and the fights, this book also portrays the characters personality well

It’s a manga and it’s a Fairy Tail sequel... do I really need to explain why I gave this five stars? It’s not the most serious work, but it is really entertaining which is the point... plus I’m getting to see what happened after the final episode so I’m even more pleased :)

The pace of introductions slowed down in this volume so I liked it quite a bit better. I'd say volume 1 was ~3.5 and volume 2 was ~4.5. I'm looking forward to continuing the series.
