Coty and the Wolf Pack

It has actually been kind of boring around the county since you left, Robert said. But thats about to change. Timmy is back for the summer of 1960 with more fun and excitement in this second installment of the Kentucky Summers series. Author Tim Callahan brings back all the lovable characters from his first charming book, The Cave, The Cabin, & The Tattoo Man and introduces a few new friends. In Coty and the Wolfpack, Timmy, James Ernest, and two new friends form a clubthe Wolfpack. Secret meetings, a two-day overnight hike, and Timmys new pet, Coty, fill the pages with humor and hair-raising adventures. Timmys summation about their adventure is, I learned two things. I learned what true friends will do for each otherand I learned that we have bears in the county. Stop and relax and remember what fun it is to be a child. Praise for The Cave, The Cabin, & The Tattoo Man I loved itriveting. It felt like it could be a true storyquite a feat. You are a terrific writer. Nicole Seitz, author of The Spirit of Sweetgrass and Trouble the Water I loved the book so much. The adventures were so much fun. I am so happy my son enjoyed your book. Its good to know hes putting wholesome stuff into his mind. - Lisa Davey Author Tim Callahan, 57, lives in Ohio with his wife, Charlene, and his dog, Tanner. Hes volunteered as a youth worker and coach in his church over the years. Portions of the book proceeds will go to World Vision.

YA/Christian fiction. 2nd in the Kentucky Summer series. The story of Timmy and his family continue. Even though this book was more real, I found the first book more my style. Do not misunderstand, I thoroughly enjoy watching the characters we love (and tolerate) grow. Our favorites are Timmy, Susie, and James Ernest. Oh and Geraldine--how glad I am you made an appearance! The new pastor, Pastor White, was a welcome addition. So a story about a boy and his dog... Again, acceptably dramatic, even a bit scary, and definitely funny--highly recommend.

The second in the Kentucky Summers series. I enjoyed this book just as much as the first. Timmy is a little older in this one and the story focuses on his group of buddies that form "The Wolf Pack" and thier mascot, a part coyote, part puppy that Tim finds in a cave. The pack share adventures and contemplate typical quandries of pre-teen boys-- especially girls.
