YA/Christian fiction. 2nd in the Kentucky Summer series. The story of Timmy and his family continue. Even though this book was more real, I found the first book more my style. Do not misunderstand, I thoroughly enjoy watching the characters we love (and tolerate) grow. Our favorites are Timmy, Susie, and James Ernest. Oh and Geraldine--how glad I am you made an appearance! The new pastor, Pastor White, was a welcome addition. So a story about a boy and his dog... Again, acceptably dramatic, even a bit scary, and definitely funny--highly recommend.

The second in the Kentucky Summers series. I enjoyed this book just as much as the first. Timmy is a little older in this one and the story focuses on his group of buddies that form "The Wolf Pack" and thier mascot, a part coyote, part puppy that Tim finds in a cave. The pack share adventures and contemplate typical quandries of pre-teen boys-- especially girls.
