Five stars to the whole series.I've read all but the last five and they just keep getting better. Anyone who loves a good mystery will enjoy these. K.COOK
Another twisty, turny mystery with no obvious motive or suspect for the murder! Pollard and Toye are sent by Scotland Yard to perform their " magic" and solve it. This series of elegant, intelligent crime solving by two engaging characters never disappoints. Enjoy!
A slightly different approach for this novel in the series. I enjoyed it, rooting for the protagonist and hoping her antagonist would be served humble pie and a prison term. Only partly right!
More like 3.5. A thoroughly enjoyable light read. A bit confusing when Pollard and Toye didn't enter the story until more than halfway through but a pleasant read. . Murder, theft, blackmail and arson -quite a busy story.
