The Hero: Rogue - he is a cyborg, one of the newest versions of human protection cyborgs. Since the last evolution of cyborgs had turned into hunters. They had banded together against humans and now the humans were determined to track every model down and imprison them. Rogue is made to look and feel like a human being. He has sexual urges and emotions, and the scientists had no idea his brain had manifested into much more than his original programming.
The heroine: Noire - she is an agent of the CRON (Cyborg Rehabilitation Officers’ Network). She was a hunter who found and captured reprobate cyborgs, the ones that had broken through their programming and threatened the lives of human citizens. She recently broke up with her boyfriend because he thinks she is a freak for the things she wants in bed. So, she goes to a sex club, which if her bosses found out, could get her fired.
The story: This story had a strange beginning with Noire going to the sex club and being dominated by Rogue, then the next day he is still a captive, and the scientists are still keeping him from going out in the world to be bodyguard. It was unclear how he was able to be in that sex club, but when he sees Noire coming down the hall after her and her partner captured a reprobate cyborg, they immediately have an intense connection and though she had been wearing a wig and a mask the night before, he knew she was the same woman.
There were more strange happenings in this story, especially around the beginning. I guess I didn’t really like the feeling of not knowing what the heck was going on. One minute you knew where each of the characters was then another chapter would start, and they would be in a totally different place, and you didn’t know if it was a dream or if it was really happening and the chapter just started in the middle of a scene or what.
Once I got a better understanding of what was going on, I did like the storylines. It was obvious that the scientists at the facility where Rogue was created were up to no good and programming him for some nefarious purposes. I thought the hunt to find out what they were up to was a good side storyline to all the sexy times. Though there was a ton of sexy times, a bit too much if you ask me. I liked the story, but it could have been fleshed out a bit more.

A Dark, Thrilling and Intensely Erotic Dystopian Romance!
“Rouge: A Dark Cyborg Romance” successfully depicts a dark, dismal dystopian future where political tyranny, intrigue and secrecy by governments as well as powerful corporations have effectively diminished individual Liberties, reminiscent of an Orwellian novel. Devastating warfare has scared the landscape, transforming the world into a nearly sterile wasteland of destruction, decay and ruin. Even with such abysmal conditions, large cities have remained mostly intact, although communal neglect and continued deterioration within underprivileged neighborhoods is clearly apparent. The rebuilding of affluent communities is taking place, but society has been forever transformed into a bleak totalitarian existence. Following the last great war, reprobate cyborgs have been exterminating humans and organizing in covert groups to eradicate humankind.
The heroine Norie and the antihero Rogue initially meet, in what is presumed an arbitrary encounter, within a clandestine establishment where dominance is dispensed to willing participants. Norie is a CRON officer, responsible for hunting, capturing and disposing of reprobate cyborgs. She is tough, strong and independent, regarded as a troublemaker, has a proclivity for dark desires which elicit, intense internal trepidation concerning her penchant for pain, humiliation and dominance. Rogue is a completely new generation of cyborg with superhuman physical characteristics, imbued with extremely high intelligence, capable of every human emotion, has a formidable, primal need to physically as well as sexually dominate and a mysterious agenda he is not conscious to or aware of. The couple share an ethereal, mental as well as physical connection and an overwhelming carnal attraction.
Progressing rapidly, the narrative describes the intimate, almost preternatural connection in both reality and the dreamscape. The sexual interactions in both realms are intensely erotic and the physical discipline is severe, possibly approaching sadistic in nature. However, Norie craves the pain, domination and degradation that Rogue’s punishments provide. Norie is a willing participant, achieving a sense of genuine freedom, along with intense sexual pleasure, through euphoric release. After Norie is captured and held captive by Rogue, she detects his escalating rage, loss of control, confusion and mental deterioration. These notably alarming changes are juxtaposed with positive, altruistic human traits through his gentleness, kindness, empathy and innate ability to care for others. Eventually, the couple’s location is discovered and a disconcerting, unforeseen plot twist redirects the story-line. Truth is revealed, the evil responsible for the nefarious scheme is brought to justice and another significant plot twist is exposed.
“Rouge: A Dark Cyborg Romance”, is a dark, thrilling, intensely erotic romance filled with action, suspense, mystery and intrigue. Professionally written, fast-paced and completely riveting, the premise is original, creative as well as compelling.
It is also worth mentioning that certain elements within the text may be confusing for some readers. At times, I had difficulty distinguishing if an event transpired within a dream or if the event took place in real-time, which may have been an intentional to amplify reader apprehension. The physical and mental connection between the characters is emphasized throughout the story and kinetic energy is presented as the basis for the electrifying touch as well as the psychic connection. Although an explanation is provided for the bond, via kinetic energy, clarification of the motivations underlying the unusual ability remains ambiguous. Additionally, I found the capture scene quite confusing. Rogue unexpectedly appears in the rearview mirror of Norie’s vehicle. It is unclear if his appearance is due to the couple’s psychic bond or if Rogue is physically in the vehicle. The vehicle scene abruptly moves forward with Norie conceding her capture and imprisonment within an abandoned warehouse, leaving the reader perplexed as to how the capture actually occurred.
Despite these aspects, the story is still thoroughly engaging, intensely erotic and extremely entertaining.

This was a bit different that other cyborg stories I've really and I really enjoyed it. It was dark and mysterious and well, you just have to get it and read it to see for yourself. Noire and Rogue are perfect together as they really do complete each other! Now I need more!!

Ooh, boy…I’ve been both dreading and longing to write this review! One thing, first and foremost: this book is positively volcanic on the heat level. Off the charts, off the chain. It is HOT.
This book has more sex than Masters and Johnson playing “7 Minutes in Heaven” with a broken wrist watch. This book is over-sexed. Good lordt, I got to the point reading this book I was wincing, “Stop pinching her n-pples, damn! Sweet mercy, get your fingers out of her b-tthole!”
In short, this is a 5-star book.
Seriously, I am being deathly serious. If you’re looking for a steamy read, especially of the disciplinary variety, buy this title NOW!

Interesting, thrilling and good as ever - some gaps leave it a little less captivating and the emotions run short in some parts - the storyline is entertaining and intriguing to look at cyborgs 😉

What did I just read?! This was definitely a dark kinky etotica and the plot was enough to move the story, but after we r awhile the sex was redundant and felt like it was dirty just to be dirty. I love cyborgs and I have nothing against erotica, but this was... disappointing.

Wow, Wow, Wow what a hot cyborg read certainly holds your attention….
Rogue was a very special cyborg one of a kind and from the moment she had first seen him in the lab she believed that she had met him before, at the club she had attended that one night she had had her darkest needs met by a man in a mask and his name had been “Master” and she in her disguise had gone by the mane of Eve..
Then she discovers him in her home and he knows everything about her, he seems to know about her father as well and she has always been suspicious but as things begin to unfold it becomes apparent that she is being lied to and there are far more deadly underhanded things going on and people are paying with their life.
The last time Rogue had found her he had told her that the next time he returned she would be his forever and that no one would separate them and she believed him but first she had to unravel what the scientists had been concocting and why they were ready to kill.
In rogues arms she finds his domination totally captivating and his humanity calls out to her but when she is expected to hunt him down and destroy him this is when things begins to change.

This is a futuristic sci-fi book. Well written, well edited, and filled with some amazingly hot punishment and discipline scenes. If you aren’t into domination and submission you won’t like this book because at the core of it is a graphic, intense D/s relationship.
Rogue is a cyborg and Noire is basically a cop whose job it is to hunt down dangerous cyborgs. But before either of them knows each other by those roles they meet under very different circumstances.
Noire hides her secret fantasies about being punished but in the illicit club Black Velvet she can blow off some steam and let herself surrender to another’s will in safety—with her mask in place no one would ever guess she was a officer of CRON. And then she meets HIM. A Master who can make her helpless and needy with only a few words.
The plot is complicated and at times it can be difficult to follow because of dream and fantasy sequences that take place and can be hard to differentiate from what’s actually happening. The sex and spanking scenes are beyond steamy and probably make it even harder to concentrate on the thriller aspect of the plot. I found myself wanting to skip ahead to the next encounter.
Overall I enjoyed it very much, even though I did have to go back and reread parts to figure out who was who so that the ending made sense to me.

I had a hard time trying to understand many pages at the beginning of the story and some pages at the middle, I didnt know if I was reading a dreamlike experience or some kinda of feverdream.
Dont get me wrong, I know this is a quick erotica read but even though there are some details in the storytelling and the narrative that can be improved. Like clarifying some actions and who is making them. Maybe removing unnecesary spicy parts, perhaps exploring furthermore the cat and mouse game and not iniciating the book with a confusing hot scene.
And we never understood why Noire craved a sadistic man, yes, she has told many times that she couldnt handle following rules but we never get told why. I think this book has so much potential to explore the android-human interactions and the philosophy behind, the aftermath of two big wars and the power fight of the big corporates and governements, how people lived in such post apocalypt world and how they envisioned the new cyborgs.
Finally I had a rough time trying to shallow the relationship between rogue and Noire, like, they said the love each other but I cant actually feel it, I only see two horny persons that never were actually loved and found each other with an instant lust and went with it, they dont know each other and definetely dont know the word "consent" and what is needed in a bdsm relationship like they have.

I am an avid reader that reads a range of books and this book took me three days to read due to it is little too detailed for me.
I dedicated myself to reading it and found that the details were important not to the character bu the understanding of what type of world this particular story was about.
I never thought Rogue was a bad guy or Noire was a bad/good girl. I thought they both reflected who they were to each other and became OBSESSED cause they could scratch that itch that each had. I really don't think Rogue was instilled with the need to dominate; I think his human part of the brain was more intuned to the fleshy need and the cyborg part of him fed it due to having a directive. I thin Noire's shame was because no-one else talked about their need..how could there underground club if people didn't share?
This book a great book about excepting your need and finding where you can as long as it does not hurt anyone.

Interesting read about a woman who's father was a cybernetic scientist, while her career is tracking down and permanently disabling cyborgs whose parameters no longer fit their programs. Noire is a member of the Cyborg Rehabilitation Officer's Network or CRON along with her partner who never breaks or bends the rules. One evening, she decides to go to a local bar, in itself a banned behavior as women aren't allowed to go out at night by themselves, meeting a handsome stranger for an incredible night of debauchery...then Noire sees him the following day when she and her partner bring in a malfunctioning cyborg to the facility where Rogue is kept. She then recognizes the new-generation cyborg, Rogue, as her lover from the previous night. He becomes obsessed with her and she with Rogue....but things aren't as they seem and some of the programming is off on this new-generation model, but you will need to read the story to see what happens...I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I will admit that this absolutely enthralling, dark Sci-Fi cyborg romance, certainly caught my attention & kept it.
There is: a female cyborg hunter (Noire) that hunts cyborgs that have gone dark, a cyborg (Rogue) who is sixty-two percent human & is determined to capture & claim Noire, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, mystery, secrets, danger, enemies, violence, manipulations, devious plans, obsession, domination/submission, punishment, protectiveness, love & explicit steamy scenes.
The plot is extremely well-thought out and written with some suspenseful events & occurrences. The characters are unique & well-developed with complex individual personalities which results in verbal and/or physical confrontations, at times they entwined fairly well with each other, and reacted with varying emotions to the situations they found themselves in.
I truly enjoyed reading this Sci-Fi romance & would recommend it.
There is: a female cyborg hunter (Noire) that hunts cyborgs that have gone dark, a cyborg (Rogue) who is sixty-two percent human & is determined to capture & claim Noire, twists & turns, intrigue, suspense, drama, mystery, secrets, danger, enemies, violence, manipulations, devious plans, obsession, domination/submission, punishment, protectiveness, love & explicit steamy scenes.
The plot is extremely well-thought out and written with some suspenseful events & occurrences. The characters are unique & well-developed with complex individual personalities which results in verbal and/or physical confrontations, at times they entwined fairly well with each other, and reacted with varying emotions to the situations they found themselves in.
I truly enjoyed reading this Sci-Fi romance & would recommend it.

Nothing is the way it seems especially with 'Government' programs. Piper mixes Dominance, Sci Fi and BDSM all in a dark themed story that is a bit different but deliciously amazing.
Both parts of one whole struggle against each other. searching for themselves. Fighting programming for the need of keeping one's identity. They made him to control him or did they and do they? what he wants is his freedom and he wants her.
Growing up human and a father scientist, she loathes machines and hunts the Rogue's down for a living bringing them down hard. Not only does she fight them she fights herself and her need for kink, the rough kind the kind that is better left in just your thoughts. Until.
Piper Stone did an amazing job with character profiles and detailed the story just enough to flow and not get boring. Hot Hot scenes very much worth the read. enjoy.

Wow, what a fantastic story.
This is such an interesting story. Noire is a strong capable woman trying to make it in the future where cyborgs are a problem that her and the CRON department are trying to handle. Rogue is a cyborg, but he is unlike any other. He is over sixty-two percent human and the facility he is in have been running extensive tests on him. He has somehow become obsessed with Noire, he wants to own her and he will stop at nothing to have her. But not everything is as it seems, the facility Rogue is at has ulterior motives for the success of a cyborg like Rogue. This is an intriguing story and there are lots of super sexy scenes. Definitely a great read and I highly recommend it!

Dark, Dangerous and Dominating is how I would describe the latest dark sci fi book
from Piper Stone...and I loved it.
Noire is a cyborg hunter, she finds cyborgs that have become a danger to the human race so that they can be destroyed. And she is on the hunt for a new cyborg who has gone dark and has turned his attention to her.
Rogue is on the hunt for Noire and he has become obsessed in his intent to owning her, punishing her, dominating her and won’t stop till he does...
This is probably one of the most darkest of books that I have read the story flowed well and the suspense and twists just kept the pages turning that I just could not put it down...

A terrifying romance
I am a huge fan of Piper Stone and although I have not read everything.... yet.... I have loved everything thing so far.
Heed the warnings. This includes spanking and intense sex and an unconventional romance.
I am not a fan of spoilers, but this is a great hot read and hard to put down.
Don’t add this to your ‘must read’ pile, just download, hide where you will not be disturbed, and devour this book....

Noire is all human and the daughter of a scientist and she hates the cyborg machines. She hunts them down for a living. Rogue is not like the other cyborgs he is more human than machine. Somehow he wants Noire and he will stop at nothing to get her. Both characters are complex and go through twists, turns, mystery and danger. There is spankings, domination and plenty of sex. I like how Piper Stone makes the story flow. Great Book. Need to read.

Hot! Dark! Intense! Stunning! This romance is one heck of a jaw dropping read. Suspense, drama, heat, obsession, kink and desire are skillfully blended into this gripping tale. Rogue and Noire are both complex, complicated characters. I felt for both these characters as twists, intrigue and mystery and danger engulf these characters in a plot that proves much bigger than just them. This is an absolutely awesome read! All thoughts and opinions in this review are my own.

It is intense, dramatic, exciting, suspenseful, intriguing, hot and steamy, dark sex, emotional and so much more. He is part cyborg and is obsessed with her and stuck someplace having all kinds of tests run on him. . She is working for an organization hunting down cyborgs. He has plans for her. I will admit liking the characters. Rogue is a very yummy and I loved the feisty Noire. It is so dark in places that just gets your heart racing. Can Noire except what she wants and can she let the man she needs be Rogue??? But I kept finding myself confused with the storyline. I had to reread some chapters which I will admit took some of the joy out of the book for me.

Even without the spanking, this is a good story. There is a lot of intrigue and conspiracy. I was left in suspense, waiting for things to unravel. Rogue indeed is a special kind of cyborg. He fell in love with a human, and that made a big difference.

Steamy and intense! Noire is usually the one hunting Cyborgs and now she is being hunted by Rogue, a Cyborg like no one has ever seen before. Rogue wants Noire and he plans on taking what he wants, but what secrets are being kept? This is a off the charts hot dark read with loads of drama and a story that really draws you in. I really liked it.

I absolutely loved this book and was honored to have been able to read and review. It was such a phenomenal read and had amazing characters as well as an amazing story line. I just could not get enough of it and once I started reading it I could not put it down. I recommend that you read it.

This was the actual worst fucking book i’ve ever read in my damn life. If it weren’t for my stupid goodreads goal i would have DNF it. How did the author make a 200 pg book feel 2,000 pages long. I read 400 page books in a day and it took me 3 days to read this 200 page book that’s how bad it was. DO NOT READ IT

I really enjoyed this book. Really good plot to the story. Very well written. Would highly recommend it to anyone who likes this kind of stories. Can't wait to read more from this author. Fast paced to the end.
