JUST LISTEN TO YOURSELF
While Rebel Carter is a new author to me, she isn’t a new author, but one I look forward to reading again. The story has just the right amount of back-story, mystery, romance, suspense, passion and is a Daddy Dom-little girl without age-play.
Natasha Ochenko has lived her life to achieve perfection, not so much for herself, but as a duty to her mother and grandmother, who were also ballerinas. But during a performance, she will freeze up and walk away from the stage and is now working in the family studio training young girls as ballerinas.
Silas has been bringing his niece, Madeline, to her dance classes and listening to her praises of Ms. Natasha. For one year, they only see each other, but eventually, he will speak to her right before a class.
The plot will have Silas coming to the rescue of Natasha when she is attacked by the father of one of her students who has been aggressive. When she collapses, he will take her home and take care of her—when he gets a phone call for a high dollar payout for a fight, she wants to go. When she doesn’t listen to him and bites him, he tells her, “You’re going to find out what happens to little girls when they are bad.” He will lay out the rules that if she wants to be with him, how it will be, and that includes obeying and accepting the punishment.
“This is a new world for you. But there’s order here. With me. I can give you security, peace. We can make those thoughts quiet, but you have to trust me. There are rules. When Daddy tells you no, you listen. Tonight, you didn’t. And that means there’s a punishment, but I want you to understand that Daddies are more than rules and punishments. Daddies spoil good little girls. They take care of them. Daddies make sure their baby girls are happy and safe. Do you want that from me—Little girl?”
I love the dynamics and chemistry between Silas and Natasha. While he wants what is best for her, eating well, taking care of herself, and being safe, he also allows her choices. When he sees her dance, he encourages her to reconsider returning to the stage but never pushes. He listens to her and is supportive. When trouble comes her way, he makes sure she is protected and fights her battles, like a Daddy would for his little girl. Best of all, the story has a happy ending.
There is a spanking scene and a few sex scenes that are not overly explicit.
