Aine Luna Parker here. I’m an ordinary, plain Jane. Until I entered the most imposing mansion known to man. Then the crazy train left the station and now all I can do is hang on for dear life.
I’m some supposed Goddess destined to bring magic back to earth. The problem isn’t the magic or all the new crazy in my life. It’s the men that come with the job.
It all started with three hotties that have bodies made for sin. Oh, How I love that sin. However, I just can’t seem to stop collecting more. The more I collect the more chaos they create. If my sex drive would calm down so I could focus on the problems at hand. I might be able to locate the prophecy that will help me release the world’s magic. If only these men didn’t draw me in like a moth to the flame.
Goddess, please don’t let me burn.
*Warning this book is intended for 18+. It is a fast burn Reverse Harem series, with a cliffhanger. This book contains lots of M/M interactions, light BDSM, and other explicit sexual scenes some readers may find offensive.
Rozie Marshall is an inspired writer from Colorado, where she lives with her husband, kids, and fur babies. She has a BA in European History and works in a bookstore, where else? Although she started writing over a decade and a half ago, it took some convincing for her to publish her first book, but once it happened, the floodgates of words burst and the books kept coming.
Often referred to by her fans as Goddess of Smut and All That is Sexy, she delights her fans with her special knack for kink and smut. When she is not busy arguing with her characters, she spends her time plotting new stories and doing research for her books. Oh, and coffee is her best friend.

The bones for a good book are all here, but the execution is lacking. While there are grammar issues, primarily comma splices and the misuse of question marks, the most glaring issue is the almost matter-of-fact way everyone sort of takes everything. I’m all about a fast-burn, but that doesn’t mean you can’t build up to some meaningful relationships. FMC finds out about magic and supernatural stuff, and it’s just like, okay, what next? And she doesn’t struggle to believe anything. There’s very little way to gauge the passage of time, so it feels like things just happen too fast, emotionally speaking. And there’s not enough character development to really grab onto with the characters. They’re all very bland, even when they’re supposed to be dark or angry. There’s not enough genuine emotion; everything just happens and maybe someone cries, but then they’re back to just taking everything in stride. There’s an attempt at angst, but it’s not angsty at all. There is so much that is just confusing; some of these people are supposed to have been raised to this life, but then sound incredibly ignorant of it. They want to keep her identity a secret, but then tell people who she is. They’re told they have an important task to completely, but don’t really put any work into it until the books almost over, but you, dear reader will already know where the item is almost as soon as the blatant foreshadowing begins. I found myself rolling my eyes at the FMC when she ignores it for like the fourth time. Ultimately, I think the author has a good idea, but shaky writing and hasty world-building (mostly a lot of unnecessary telling in the exposition through stilted dialogue). And speaking of dialogue, contractions are okay, writers. I’m not sure who is telling writers they can’t use contractions, but it is absolutely irritating to read dialogue spoken by supposedly modern people who don’t use contractions.
Also, I have no idea what “boxer pants” are, and I’m afraid to google. I’m not sure if that’s a phrase common in other parts of the world, or if it’s just poor word choice used repeatedly.
I honestly wasn't into it anyway - I am fine with RH that's more poly, with MM, but not when the relationship with the three guys is more central and the FMC feels like a fourth wheel (seriously, it was mentioned numerous times that she felt like she was intruding on their relationship, or they felt like they needed to sort their relationship our before they'd be ready for anything with her - she was not a priority, at best, and an unneeded complication at worst).
But then a demon came over and forced everyone into nonconsensual sex - which everyone acknowledged was nonconsensual but no one really got upset about - and I immediately noped my way out of this book.
On recommendation from someone in a group I participate in. I decided to pick this book up and reverse harem lovers you are in for a treat. There been some amazing reverse harem books this year and this debut is one of my favourites. Marshall knows how to write a captivating story that will have you hook to your kindle. Whilst there some cliches that may be some pet peeves to readers, I think this only enhances the book considering this fast pace and needs to be grounded in realness. I only wish that this series was going to be longer as I won't get sick of these guys in a hurry. There so much love, drama and much more, readers will be devouring this book and hopefully join in begging for the next book. It's witty, fun and of course magical.
You see with this book it is hard; I really like the world Marshall is creating. Yet, it can sometimes seem 2 dimensional and often misses the mark. Is the smut great yes, does the story have potential also yes, will I read the next one sure. There is something about it, not sure what but I am just finding it, a little lacklustre.
Unfortunately this was a DNF for me at only 27%. I couldn’t get in to it, I felt the characters were lacking depth. I’m a big fan of RH with MM elements but this one also contains some of my biggest RH pet peeves. Virginal heroine and jealousy/unrest amongst the group. The characters are supposed to be very sexual and open, however the very beginning is all about the jealousy and drama between the 3 men (nothing to do with the female, the men have issues sharing between the 3 of them but not with the female?).
I know I didn’t get very far into the book but I think what made the plot feel like it moved too slow were the excessive mundane details. I really don’t need the ins and outs of what the characters purchased at the grocery store.
Even though it’s multiple POV as well I couldn’t get a sense of anyone’s personality. Had to keep checking back who was representing “I” in each chapter. No one really stands out as particularly interesting.
I skimmed the rest of the book to see if it might get better but I just couldn’t make it there. It’s apparent that other men join the harem so it makes the initial drama seem pointless if it doesn’t even end up staying exclusive to the 3 men and 1 female.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
DNF at 20%. Similar to other lower-rated reviews, I found that the book I managed to complete so far had no real plot other than created relationship drama between the 3 men (Max, Liam, and River) even before the FMC Luna starts to take part. There were some divine scenes and a short explanation from River's mom about magical sparks = potential to be mates in an attempt at world-building and fleshing out the character histories, but too much of it was taken up by MM sexytimes and Max's jealousy and insecurity before I felt sufficiently invested in the world.
Admittedly, the intimate scenes in the book were hot, but it wasn't enough to redeem to excruciatingly slow pace to the book. Max stood out by being the biggest jealous asshole, but I really couldn't tell the difference between River and Liam.
I really liked this book and especially the hot sexy times! I think this is the beginning of a good pnr series! There were some grammar mistakes but who cares about that when the story is really yummy! I’m excited to see what happens next!
I feel....cheated by this book and the misleading description...and I’m mad about it. Goddess. Throughout the entire book FMC believes she is a witch, we don’t find out until 85% that she is Goddess of the Moon. We only find this out because it is written in a note from her mother. Literally no one mentions this!! WTF? B*tch just finds out she’s a goddess and it’s not even mentioned?
The other part I feel cheated about is the RH aspect. This is polyamory. The guys are more obsessed with d*ck than with their female.
Last but not least I also feel like all the characters are exceedingly immature. FMC cries about everything and that’s also annoying. All the guys are jealous about literally anyone else, male or female. If there is relationship potential then someone is undoubtably jealous about it. FMC reluctant to take males her mother destined for her....there is a lot to be annoyed with.
Regardless, I am going to read the next one because I am just curious enough. Here’s hoping the second book will be better than the first.
4.5⭐️. This book was HOT and exactly the type of reverse harem I’d been looking for. I wanted to read an RH where some or all of the characters were involved with each other and I definitely got that wish with this book.
At first I kept getting confused on which POV I was reading at that moment. It took me awhile to figure out each character’s personality and I felt I had to keep flipping back to see who it was, as another reviewer said. Eventually I got to know the characters better as the story went on, but I prefer to get to know them in the beginning - It felt like I didn’t connect with them much for awhile.
I couldn’t stop reading this, and the sex was burning me up. It was so good and didn’t feel like a repeat of the same stuff over and over.
I’m jumping right into book #2 because I need to know what happens and I need to read more about Ry and Zuriel. 😍
Seriously I almost don’t want to leave a review just so I can hurry and dive into the next book! I love all the characters, the story line (even though you can tell it hasn’t really taken off yet, but you can’t wait to see where it takes you) and good grief! It is HOT! If you are looking for a slow burn - this is not the book for you. If you want a hot RH and love MM and MMMMF, this is it! I seriously had to reread one of the scenes to try to mentally figure out the dynamics. Go Luna Girl! Witches, demons, angels, oh my!
I really liked this book and can’t wait for the next one. The sex is steamy and plentiful and I like the authors sense of humor. If you love lots of action in and out of the bedroom I would definitely recommend this series.
I wasn’t sure I’d like this book after reading the first few chapters, but as the characters developed and their interactions became more genuine the more the story sucked me in.
Loved it couldn't put it down!! Finished in A day had me laughing sighing and had A few tears as well all in the first book can't not wait to start the next one oh and by the way it's hot 🔥 🔥 🔥🔥🔥damn those boys!!
I think that if I could, I would give this book 3.5 ⭐️. The start of the book felt quite stilted but as it progressed the author seemed to relax into her writing a lot more and the characters started to flesh out a little bit more.
The story revolves around Luna, who moves to Denver because of a necklace that was left to her by her deceased mother. Luna never really knew her mother so the necklace was special to her, especially the message on it “It Begins In Denver”. Luna moves there and ends up renting an apartment above the garage of a very big house. The house is owned by the father of one of the occupants. There are three men, all of which are gorgeous (of course). The men are very friendly and Luna is attracted to all of them.
It turns out that all three men have supernatural abilities and by meeting them Luna’s own powers have been released. Her mother sent her to them, without Luna understanding it. All three men want Luna and it seems they were pre-destined to want to be together with Luna and each other.
There is a LOT of sex in this book. I would definitely count it as erotica as well as paranormal romance, as it is explicit in nature. If you aren’t interested in a sex heavy book then give this one a miss. If you like some smut with your paranormal romance and are happy with multiple partners being involved at the same time you might give this one a go.
I haven’t decided yet whether I’m going to read the next in the series, but as the writing improved as the book progressed I am inclined to at least think about it.
If you're looking for a well-written book then......look elsewhere. This is in dire need of an editor. Typically if a book has a good enough story I can ignore quite a bit in the grammatical area, but this book doesn't even have a good story to help gloss over its faults.
Also, someone hand this author a thesaurus, please. They're in desperate need of a list of synonyms to describe male genitalia. Honestly, the sex scenes would be this book's best feature....however, when said sex scenes involve just two guys the word "cock" gets used 50 times just for that one go. Like please, switch it up for us a little bit. Give us some spice or something so that I'm not bored just read that one word over and over and over and over.
This is supposedly an RH, but it's more like polyamory. Which is cool, so just be warned that the guys are all for each other just as much (if not more it seems) for each other than the main girl.
This book is bad. Not just bad, it is terrible. The writing is horrible, there is no plot to speak of and the 'characters' are so idiotic it defies belief. It's basically like someone decided to make a book about their wet dreams but panicked when it came to constructing a story so just started mashing on the keyboard hoping that no one would notice the complete lack of plot. This sentence pretty much sums up how bad the writing is:
I realized I didn’t have any clean clothes and told him such. “I need to head back to the apartment and grab some clean clothes.”
I cannot think of one redeeming thing about this book.
Honestly, I knew pretty early on that I wasn’t vibing with this story, but I was overly optimistic that it just needed to find its stride and it would get good.
There’s zero world- and relationship-building. No character development. I’m baffled by the (lack of) reaction Luna had to discovering the existence of magical beings and that she was one of them. Yes, they told us that her world shifted but without them explicitly saying that you would never be able to tell.
I found out about this book on a group and thought I would give it a go.
I couldn't get into the writing style, it didn't feel like the story had a natural flow. The point of view kept changing with each chapter and the chapters were a bit short so it was difficult to connect with any of the characters.
I tend to like my heroines a bit more assertive and confident even went unexpectedly thrust into a new world they knew nothing about and Lune came off as a bit a mouse.
2.75 stars- rounding to a low 3 pros: I liked some parts of this book and others i didnt. I liked the characters i thought they were all just very cute. I liked the plot. I REALLY liked the steamy scenes.
Cons: I didnt like the writing style. some of it just felt off to me and i couldnt get past it. just made it hard to finish.
Tho i liked some of this book, i wont be reading the rest.
This book was definitely interesting. We are introduced to the FMC and a bunch of MMC's and get a hint of the overall plot and background stories. There is a lot of adult content in this book, but it really supports the plot, which is perfect for me. I'm intrigued and ready to see what's next!
Not remotely invested in these characters, just nothing to attach to. Luna is boring af. The guys - well I like alphas and these are too boyish. More like a ya book with lots of tedious sex. And even that was uninspiring.
I found this series in a readers group and I am so happy I gave it a chance. I love this story and the characters are great. Cannot wait to read the other books.
