Volume 25 of this true crime series
The true crime stories in Volume 25 are varied in time and location, but the recurring theme is murder. From the murder of an elderly employer to a family killed for money, from serial-killing brothers to a husband with an alibi, you'll find that murder has no boundaries. Perhaps the most famous case in this volume is the violent murder of Brandon Teena, the subject of the movie, "Boys Don't Cry."

Another excellent addition to this harrowing series
Another excellent book added to this harrowing series. Many of these eighteen stories could easily be written up as mysteries and thrillers, holding the reader in abject suspense. In this book the killers are strangers, wives, husbands, lovers and even the children of the victims. The fact that the murderers are so often family members makes one pause to contemplate about the people in one’s life. Most of us feel safe amongst those closest to us. This book (and the entire series) proves time after time that one shouldn’t necessarily be complacent

You can't go wrong with Keller
I've read all 25 books in the "Murder Most Vile" series and they are all awesome. Keller writes about many obscure cases from around the world and through different eras and times. I like to read quick true crime anthologies between full length books and Keller never disappoints. In this book he covers the Susan Grund case and there is a really good full length book about her called "Deadly Seduction". He also covers Teena Brandon, the subject of the compelling movie, starring Hilary Swank, "Boys Don't Cry". Thanks for another terrific book. Keep writing and I'll keep reading!

So glad I waited
So glad I waited, even though it wasn't much by choice, lol..... That being said it made this one of my favorite books of his. I felt as if with this one most of the stories I haven't heard of over and over! And to me that is very important! Also, as always Mr. Keller has done a terrific job of telling each story and staying neutral. He is one of my favorite true crime authors of not my favorite. So if you are looking for a terrific read then look no further. It's so worth the money and more......
