The concept of this book is fun and would appeal to a young audience. Despite the fact I doubt I’m its ideal market I still found it exceedingly funny. What irritated me though was the lack of care taken in the writing process. The text was littered with spelling and grammatical errors. There was also a certain carelessness exhibited in the layout of the final portion of the book where it felt the author had become a little bored and so dispensed with forms of writing. There were sections which contained far too much back story and repeated what had been told already.
I personally feel that if you’re going to give something over to the public then you need to take care over it. This lack of an edit offends me as it makes me feel that I’m not important to the writer. So I say to you writer – bear in mind the needs of your reader because s/he is your paying public and slight him/her once too often and you’ll lose custom.

Great read.

Surprisingly good
So the constant explanations of the same things over and over for tiring, but this was a really cute book about witches and warlocks.

First I’d like to point out that this is not my chosen genre, nor one I’d usually read. Having said that Applebottom Magic was a fun and easy to read book. I think it would appeal to a much younger generation, who just read and accept what is put before them. As we get older and dare I say wiser our expectations rise, we analyse everything and I found a few things lacking. Unfortunately there were way too many corrections needed, which should of been picked up when edited and proofread. This automatically brings the book down, which is unfortunate.
Apple is about to turn eighteen and her life as she knows it is going to be spun around and turned on its head. Her family are a hoot, as many family secrets are revealed. Then she sees him, she is instantly attracted to Ryan. Thankfully he feels the same way, as he’s been looking for his Apple girl for way too long. 5 hilarious stars
I can’t say how many times I had to stop reading so I could laugh out loud and then say “listen to this!” So I could read a scene out loud.
Apple is so funny, I loved her character so much. She’s young, 18, and her world gets turned upside down when she finds out that everything she thought she knew about life was incredibly NOT reality. There is witches and magic, action and romance.
Prophecies lead the way to people’s actions - the good guys and the bad guys. I don’t think I’ve really hated a bad guy quite as much as I hated the one here. He was so evil.
This, like most of SCinder’s stories, has more than one couple in it. We have our main couple, Apple and Ryan, and our secondaries which were Ryan’s teammates and best friends as well as his sister and a surprise character (can’t give it away). Each of the romances are sweet and believable.
Like always, it is well written and engrossing. Highly recommend if you like comedy and steamy scenes in your romance

I loved reading this book, both as an advance reader, and again through Kindle Unlimited. The world the author created was beautiful. While this book was great as a standalone I would like to see more possibilities set into the same world.
You start with a young woman, who everyone calls Apple due to her last name. She is in for an awakening when her grandmother takes her on a summer vacation to the Grand Canyon. There she meets two more old ladies and finds out not everything as it appears. The two new ladies are actually her great-aunts and under an illusion to appear to look older than they are. She was born into a family of witches, witches who stop aging at about 25 and live indefinitely. Next she finds out about a prophecy that likes her with another family. So this trip wasn't anything one would expect.
I don't want to give too many spoilers, but if you want a rich and vibrant world, I recommend picking up this book.

Henrietta Applebottom or Apple to her family and anyone who knows her, has just turned 18 and come into her powers. Something she had no inkling of until her grandmother takes her back to the family land and springs it on her including meeting her gran's close friends who are actually Apple's two grandaunts and the need to train Apple in all things magical. And when a smoking hot witch's council warlock comes knocking ready to arrest her granny for a major violation, it puts Apple on edge just to stop herself from climbing all over him. And when he calls her his wife and granny goes silent, better be sure her gran and her sisters will have a lot of explaining to do. This is an action packed story brimming with a few more romances between other interesting characters besides Apple and her warlock Ryan. I loved it!

Apple, nicknamed because her last name is Applebottom, goes on a vacation to the Grand Canyon. She would rather be anywhere else but Nana says she has business there. That being that Apple is going to be a witch and her training needed to start. The surprises don’t stop there as the paranormal world begins to open up for her.
This is a great book full of action, magic, twist, surprises, romance and a few steamy scenes. It was extremely well written and the characters are amazing. The storyline weaves all the elements of good verses evil, family, caring, love and of course magic into a dramatic plot that is sure to please anyone who is looking for a paranormal adventure. I loved this book and wish that it was a series. There is so much going on that it is hard to put down. What an creative and imaginative book, definitely worth the read.

There is witches and magic, action and romance, good vs evil and of course everything is tied together with a prophecy.
Like most of SCinder’s stories, there are more than one couple in it. Apple and Ryan being the main character and of course the secondary characters are just a likeable. And there is no denying the fact that the villain is truly easy to hate. There were parts that made me laugh out loud and then there were the steamy scenes that were brought to culmination.

What a wonderful story. This was something totally unique for me to read-hard to do! This is the story of a seemingly normal girl-Apple-that is a out to have her life extraordinarily changed forever. With the help.of her Nana, Aunts Jess and Sally, new friends Patrick, James, and Emily-Apple embarks on her life altering mission with future hubby Ryan. There is laugh out loud humor, romance, and drama throughout the book. It will be easy to continue as a series-let's just hope this one is continued for a few more books.

Wow what an absolutely fantastic hilarious story I loved Apple she is so funny she also finds out some truths about herself when she goes on holiday with her nana, she meets her nana’s sisters and she is shown the proof of who she really is. Apple is only just turning 18 and preparing to become an adult but what she finds out about herself turns her whole world upside down, but I’m not going to tell you what that is. Along the way Apple meets a love interest in Ryan and there is also a evil villain who is definitely evil. This is a fantastic hilarious story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

She has been promised to Ryan and has to be with him.
I love the relationship between Ryan and apple and her nana and sisters are quirky characters, love them.
I like it how the book tells you about the different characters and their inner most thoughts.
Apple has earthly powers and its great reading about her learning to use them.
I love all the different characters in this book and the couples that are made.

Real potential
I so hate saying this but.. this book had such amazing potential. The story line was absolutely great! But it just didn't flow naturally at all. A lot of sentences just needed the same exact words arranged differently. But the part that was the most damaging was skipping right past chances at detail. So much skipping forward without telling you events until after they happened. It felt like the author was trying to cram entirely too much into one book. This should have easily been three books when fully fleshed out. I truly hope the author takes the time to rewrite it at some point. I would definitely reread it.

This was indeed a most enjoyable and fun read by S Cinders. I thoroughly enjoyed her "new teen" swearing phrases, and of course loved the super hot sex scenes between all the mates. For me, the tone of the book was so light and entertaining that I was finished with the book before I knew it. I enjoyed the struggles and determination of the characters to learn, understand, and embrace who and what they were and their individual special powers. I loved this book from beginnig to end, it was amazing! Apple on vacation with her Nana, to the Grand Canyon, and is about to discover secrets she never thought possible. I loved Apple's character and she is hilariously funny. The main characters, Ryan and Apple, are very likeable, as well as, the secondary characters. This book has witches, romance, action, good vs evil, and humor throughout. It is an entertainingly great read and I recommend you pick it up and read it for yourself.

This is a really interesting story. I adore Apple, and her grandmother and great aunts are wonderful. It is a good mix of romance, humour and intrigue. The bad guy is awful, and I loved 5e fight. The many characters add to the plot, and their stories and POV add to the story well, they don’t detract from the main theme. This is a very enjoyable and entertaining read.i would have loved it to be longer, but I couldn’t wait to find out what happened at the end.

Humour and magic make a great mix!
This is the first book I have read from this author and I found it to be very amusing. Lots of humour, romance, and of course, magic to defeat the bad guys. While there was a little too much repetition, I still enjoyed the characters and the storyline. I will enjoy reading other books by this author.

I laughed out loud, so much so that I had tears in my eyes and had to stop reading this book, I got so many strange looks from people around me. I thought that Apple was great so very likable and funny, she's only 18 and has to face seeing her world turned upside down. This is a story about witches and magic with action and romance thrown in for good measure.

A fast paced magic-filled story with lots of insta love and family/friend bonding. The heroine was raised not knowing her magic while the hero was raised on the prophecy of her, although there are many twists and turns. The story is told from six points of view - the three couples, but not all at once. It’s a fun read with good chemistry between the characters. Magical, funny and heart stopping fight of good vs evil
What a great story. Apple just found out she's a witch. A witch from a long line of witches and magic. She may also be the one told of in the prophecy. This story had me smiling, laughing, biting my nails and hoping for the HEA. It was romantic and steamy too. The mind conversations were something else. You'll just have to read to see what I mean. Highly recommend this story set in the paranormal and good for so many reasons.

I didn't find this book very cohesive. It seemed to jump from situation to situation when so much more could have been done to show us how they got from point A to point B.

It lacks a bit of world-building but the plot and the twists more than make up for it. While the characterization of the villain lacks depth, the rest of the characters are quirky and adorable. There are steamy sex scenes, dream or real, between Apple and Ryan. The story has adventure and humor. Very entertaining!
