Otta and Erl make their way to the city of Aura Vere, finding themselves the subject of a search by those whose intentions are clearly not good. Will Erl’s newfound friends offer to help the pair out? And what of young Derri? What is his secret, and why is he so quiet and reserved on certain topics?

This is a fun read!

Trapped in Aura Vere, Otta discovers that the kaerlings are far more sinister than she could ever have imagined! Loving this amazing epic fantasy series with characters who aren't perfect and writing that is!

Cliff hanger

Cliff hanger... No surprise same as the first one... But interesting. The book is short and all three books should real be just one good book.
