In this book, Philippe J. Cassard, as a European observer of the United States where he lives periodically, takes a close look at the distortion of truth concerning the assassination of President Kennedy; a law of silence kept alive, well beyond the fiftieth anniversary of his death. The author gives us a concrete narrative which informs the reader less on the rumors which have fueled the many conspiracy theories but more on the impressive number of facts supporting the irrefutable evidence of a coup d’état. Inspired by his trips to the scene of the assassination and by his participation in several conferences on the subject, Philippe J. Cassard brings answers to this historical drama and gives possible reasons as to why the dissimulation of the facts endures.
Long but very good. I am glad people have dedicated their lives to analyzing the dumps of JFK documents, that is far beyond my scope. All in all a well written book from a person not vested in the events as we are, especially here in Texas, I was born in Dallas and was three when this happened. I was discussing this with my son, the reason why after almost 60 years we can’t know that the government and the military industrial complex along with the mafia did this? Everyone with skin in the game has to be dead, at least the ones who planned it. Admit who and what was done, the personal legacy be dammed (GHWB).
Overall, a good read, BUT I was disappointed the author in examining the evidence for a conspiracy looked no higher in the government food chain than the CIA. It appears the author has not examined Phillip Nelson's monumental work, "LBJ The Mastermind of the JFK Assassination" which examines the evidence which goes beyond the CIA, FBI, Mafia and others all the way to LBJ, the mastermind and coordinator of everything concerning the elimination of the Kennedys.
