She met him in a dark alley and he followed her home, like a stray puppy. If a stray puppy were a six-foot-eight alien with muscles that didn't quit, a face to die for, and a huge protective streak.
And don’t get her started on his ego.
Blue was tough and independent, she didn’t need anyone to take care of her.
Especially not him. Nope. Not happening. Ever.

Safan was under no illusions of his appeal to the opposite sex.
So imagine his surprise when he meets a female who isn't all that interested in his charm, his body or his protection.
It's enough to confuse an arrogant warrior. And make him even more determined to prove to this prickly female that she is the one for him.
His mate.
But before he can manage that something happens to threaten their very existence.

Cruel h, her refusal damages H. He deserves better!

I had such high hopes for this addition to the series. Overall, I like the series, but certain heroines have been frustrating. The heroine in this addition, Blue, she’s in a tie for first place now for worst heroine in the series with Zoey. Where Zoey is trashy acting near constantly (she has no clue about a time and place to act a certain way) Blue on the other hand was a total B.
From interaction one with the hero, Safan, she was rude, crude and mean to him. She kept trying to get rid of him, brush him off and give him short responses.
Gah the poor guy!
Oh and she calls him a jerk and an idiot several times later on in this book. I don’t care if she was ‘joking’ or not. It’s still cruel and can be hurtful to a mate.
Where in the beginning of the book he’s bending over backwards for her repeatedly and is good tempered and funny, she’s worse than a cold rotten fish washed to shore. She remains this way throughout the book. She DENIES AND REFUSES THE BOND basically the entire book until she is forced to mate with Safan. Then she still doesn’t want the bond and the matebond is incredibly weak until like the last 5% of the book.
The reason for her being a B, mean, short tempered and short answer rude person? She had verbally mean church going parents growing up. She didn’t feel loved. Even though they were never physically abusive, she didn’t feel loved. So because of that she never allowed herself to love or trust. Apparently that was also somehow justifiable circumstances for her to treat people like crap? Don’t think so.
And was she a V or not?! She kept saying she was inexperienced and acted like even having him go down on her was too kinky, but she didn’t have a cherry pop the first time. And I can’t imagine anyone wanting to bone her anyways. So yeah, that whole was she or wasn’t she wasn’t clear.
Also, due to her behavior of being reckless she brings mean aliens down on them. After a fight when Safan comes back to and suffers memory loss he tells her that her name is horrible. lol! And the other warriors tell her to chill out with the attitude towards him basically. Wish someone would have slapped her. Then everyone says after he gains his memory back, that he’s not longer funny or the same guy anymore. He’s all serious. So yeah, she basically damaged him indirectly because of her stupidity and refusal. The book tried to make it out like oh good thing they hadn’t bonded totally yet or he might not have made it. Where as it was more like if she wasn’t reckless in the first place those bad aliens wouldn’t have been after them to begin with! So yeah, still actually her fault.
Safan deserved better.
Hopefully Ellie is a mate next and treats someone right.

Well I’m definitely finishing the series. I’ve come this far. Each new installment IS better but each one has the same issues. For one, the heroines are almost identical. They’re all tiny.

“He slid onto his knees, but was so big that the top of his head still came to her shoulders.”

It’s just hard to picture a size difference that extreme.

The next thing that’s consistent…ly bad is the editing.

“The ship was a right-off.”

No, you write it off. Not right it off.

The third thing that is consistently “oh come on!” about the heroines is that most come from oppressed backgrounds where their fathers were abusive religious leaders. It’s odd because while this is definitely a political statement being made - it is consistent throughout the series after all - the heroines all celebrate Christmas without resentment. So the anti-religiosity is present but not when it comes to the most religious of holidays.

It would have been refreshing to see a truly self sufficient, adventurous, non miniature heroine.

Also this hero was seemingly the most forward thinking of the heroes, enthusiastic about learning all about the humans and a light hearted guy. So what happened to him? He gets amnesia and promptly turns into a Neanderthal like all the other guys.

So, while I liked this book, it was the same really as all the others.

This is a new author to me and this is my first read of hers and this book can be read as a total standalone. I loved it, although I have nothing to compare her writing style to, I still loved the underlining story of Blue and Safan. Blue has had a verbally abusive childhood and she does not like the showing weakness or vulnerability. Safan is a joking, lighthearted Zarconian while most of his race is steadfast and not joking warriors. Safan is flabbergasted when Blue doesn’t fall to her knees worshiping him but Blue, given her history, combat Safan’s every attempt to get to know her with sarcastic quips. It’s funny to see Safan talk and interact with the humans because he takes everything literally even when they are being facetious. Will Blue recognize what Safan is to her in time? Overall a fantastic read and I need to read more of this series.

It seems like such a long time since I’ve read a book in the Zerconian Warrior series (it’s actually only been a year), but as soon as I started reading Alien Charmer I was transported right back into the world. What I have enjoyed about the series is the mixture of humour, action and of course steamy romance.

Alien Charmer had the action, humour and the romance, but I didn’t enjoy it as much as I have other instalments in the series. It started well, I enjoyed the beginning of the book where our scrappy heroine Blue meets the affable and adorable Zerconian Safan. But, there was a strange plot twist involving a personality change which I didn’t quite buy into and the book lost some of its charm.

This book did introduce a bunch of new characters to the series and so, although Alien Charmer didn’t quite do it for me, I can’t wait to see the next Zerconian Warrior succumb to love!

Blue💃💋🔪🔫 Meets Her Alien God🐺🍆⛲🔪🔫

Blue💃💋🔪🔫 is a tough young human woman trying to make a living with her ship and small crew. They haul cargo for various aliens.

In an alley on a rough planet🌍, she is confronted by a huge grub like Sargal🐛. He says she ripped him off because her cargo of berries had a few rotten ones in it. The Sargal 🐛is going to eat her if she doesn't make good on his complaint!

Lucky for her, huge Zerconian Warrior, Safan🐺🍆⛲🔪🔫 comes to her aid, but Blue💃💋🔪🔫 is a poor winner.
She doesn't want his company or his help, even though she is attracted to him! All the way back to her ship🚀 she keeps trying to give him the brush off. He tries to flirt with her, but he just comes off as bragging of his attributes and arrogant. It's just lost in translation!

Luckily for her, Safan🐺🍆⛲🔪🔫 is impossible to deter from his mission to find a mate before he gets too old and goes crazy. He continually saves Blue💃💋🔪🔫 from danger. Blue💃💋🔫🔪 is very attracted to Safan🐺🍆⛲🔪🔫, but she doesn't know why. Safan🐺🍆⛲🔪🔫 knows Blue💃💋🔪🔫 is his one true mate, but how can he convince the feisty little woman?

ARC Received from Booksprout🌱
I also got the book with KU.

I enjoyed the character of Safan🐺🍆⛲🔪🔫, very much! The book did have a large number of spelling errors, left out words, a wrong words used. It really needed a good editing. Loss of a 🌟star for all of the errors.
This is an adult sci-fi romance.

Sadie Carter is a new author to me and I loved this story I had quite a few chuckles especially from Safan. Safan is a warrior from Zerconia he was talking to his ship mates when he heard a female shouting so he went to see what was going on. A Sargal was threatening to eat a woman so Safan killed it. Blue was arguing with a big slug when this warrior comes along and saves her but it makes Blue angry that he helped her she is quite capable of looking after herself she doesn’t need this big gorgeous alien saving her thank you very much!. Blue is the captain of her own ship and when Safan walks her back to her ship it suddenly explodes and lucky for her her crew wasn’t in the ship at the time. As soon as Safan touches Blue he knew that she was his mate and he will do anything to keep her safe. I loved Safan he was quite funny and Blue she is a tough but very stubborn woman and they make a great couple. This is an amazing story and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Hilarious alien Romance

This book is about aliens, humans and human's language which has many meanings (for example chill out meaning calm down and cold weather) which are puns.

Safen is an alien who is planet has certain mating ritual that if incomplete the alien will die. Blue is a human who's with others left Earth and their families behind. She was add another planet and ran into trouble.

Safen and Blue did not fully mate when they were attacked and crash-landed on another planet. Will they make it?

The characters are hilarious, intriguing, and sexy. The plot is fast-paced drama and humorous.

Highly recommended. I'm enjoying the author's books and look forward others in the series.

This was a great story. I couldn't put it down. I was caught in the action from the beginning. This was the first book that I have read in the series and I can't wait to read the rest of them. The Zerconian seem like an interesting bunch.

Blue is in a tough spot when out of nowhere someone comes to rescues her. She has a hard time accept help since she has been in control of herself and crew for so long. Safan saves a human female not realizing that she is his mate. Now he will stop at nothing to protect her even from herself. Will they be able to work things out?

I've read all the books of this series and the stories are always so interesting with suspense and action.
So this story begins on a different planet where a human girl Blue, tries to save her life when a Sargel (a filthy alien) tries to eat her. But she is extremely lucky when she is saved by Safan, a warrior from Zerconia. After the near death experience Blue tries to lose the warrior but ....the funny and arrogant keeps follow her, and save her life again, and later again her and her crew members.
Safan and Blue don't meet each other by the typical Zerconian way, as the first books, so this meeting is different and unusual and for that we have an even better romance story.

Safar saves Blue from a Sargel and Gueran attack. The Sargel believe that Blue and her crew shorted them on a delivery. Safar follows Blue back toward her ship and meeting up with her crew when her ship explodes. She is the leader of her crew and doesn't know what they are going to do now. Safar offers to take her and her crew to Zerconia with him. He knows that she is his mate and she refuses to acknowledge the mating. A humerous, sarcastic story. sweet too.

I loved this story, I had a lot of laughs when the characters are speaking to each other and somehow the meaning is ‘lost in translation”. That’s the English language for you!

Safan is adorable and funny in his arrogance, I can’t help but smile. I can relate with Blue’s frustration when speaking with Safan, and imagining them talking makes me laugh. But then Safan grew on Blue and she turned out to be his mate. This is one enjoyable, funny read.

What happens when a warrior who’s main instinct is to protect a female comes up against the female who is destined to be his mate, and she has spent years looking after herself and others? Read this for entertaining dialogue and situations between the two. However not everything always goes smoothly and it isn’t until your faced with losing the person who is perfect for you that your able to let your walls down and allow a bond to strengthen

Thoroughly enjoyed Blue and Safan’s Story, she’s a sassy human and he’s an alpha Zerconian who believes (rightly) that she’s his mate. Some very steamy scenes between them ensue. Good story and nice to see characters from other books interwoven into this one, particularly liked the interplay between Empress Zoey and Blue. Highly recommended.

I enjoy this author's work. Sometimes her heroines are a little trashy, witchy for lack of another term, or complain alot.....but I think that adds a certain realness to her work because we all know people like that. Her heroes/aliens add the fantasy so their mates personalities gives a realness which kinda balances out the book. And this one was no different....such a well written book.

Blue is in the middle of a fight with a creature claiming that her crew shorted him on a shipment.
Safan hears the fight and steps in to kill the other alien. Blue doesn't need anyone to take care of her. Safan offers to take Blue and her crew to his planet after their ship explodes, knowing that Blue is his life mate. Will the two be able to make things work or will they burn out? A good read.

This story is full of surprises. Blue is a pilot and team leader for her scavenger crew. She meets Sadar when a sale goes wrong. Safari is waiting for his ship to be repaired when he finds his mate being attracted. The story follows with him trying to protect her and convince her they are mates. It is a fun adventurous story that has characters who are interesting.

Another great one

Was hoping to see a book come out about this worrier, always so sure of himself, Blue made him work for it, but was so afraid when they both all most lost each other, but things worked out for them. How I am wondering who will be next lots to chose from with all the new people from this story, I say bring them on can't wait for the next one

I want to love these books but I just can’t get past the rage. Every time one of those bossy assholes open their mouth I want the h to put her fist in it, and I really really don’t like that it’s all conveniently explained away as “protective” I keep hoping for that to get better but honestly it’s not, and I’m about done with that. Sorry I’m tapping out.

I'm unsure on how to rate this book. It was sarcastic, with an alpha male and a witty and unruly female lead. It just got tiring how Blue kept denying their bond and belittling Safar and I don't mean he didn't have his moments but I just don't know.

The chemistry between the main characters is out of this freaking world!

I felt that the author had the ability to convey some depth to the personalities of the characters bringing life and likability to every person.
The writing draws you in and keeps you interested until the end.

Great!!!

Safan is easy going. He attended all of the human classes. He was very friendly. Blue is closed off, defensive. They meet in an alley. They scuffle with an alien. The women's friends seem retribution. There are explosions. Death. And then love. This is a great adventure. I loved it.
