Sassy heroine, Renata Vitali was first introduced in "Bastiano Romano" book 4 of the Five Syndicate series while at the funeral of Vincent Romano. However in her story (novella) , she's a fearless 17 years old who well abreasted in her name, VITALI yet attracted to 18 year old, Damian DeLuca, the hidden son of Angelo DeLuca. First love was not easy with this young couple due mainly to who Renata was. Their emotional story told of how the two characters met and how Damian's demented father, Angelo was stripped of his power due largely to Damian and his best friend, Cris! She was sent to Devil's Ridge by her father because she witnessed with her father father was having sex with his secretary which Renata would have instantly told her Maman.. also she was not the use internet or cell phone. Their relationship was messy causing them to have a enemy to lover's relationship which sadly ended with Renata running from Devil Ridge, Texas betrayed yet still loving Damian and of course, he her!



Looking forward to reading Damiano De Luca's story because Renata left Damian with some vengeful words when she fled:

"If ever I am gifted the opportunity to betray you, I'll take it. If life hands me the chance to destroy you, I will. Today. Tomorrow. Ten years from now. I will always want revenge. And you will never stop looking over your shoulder."

"Mafia Daddy" by Renee Rose was Alex and Jenna's memorable story and boy was it hot! I am so glad that Alex and Jenna got their HEA without Jenna's father separating them for good. This was the first mafia book I've read where the mother's words became law... and I enjoyed that immensely!



Although, I didn't read this series in order, I recommend readers do!



Can't wait on the Alessia Tacone's story!

A brilliant collection of Mafia Romance stories.

This is a great book. 10 mafia romance stories in one book is just amazing!!! I was lucky enough to pick this up from Amazon for free!!

I've really enjoyed reading these. I had read a couple of these authors before, but most of the authors I had yet to read, so this book has been brilliant at introducing me to other mafia romance stories, and i will definitely be reading other books by this group of talented story tellers.

This was my first read by Natasha Knight. And it won't be my last.

This book was dark and intense. Will have you on the edge of your seat and flipping through the pages. Knight will take you on a roller coaster of emotions. I wasn't sure whether I supposed to love or hate Sebastian. I really enjoyed Helena's character. Even though she was in a vulnerable state. She showed so much strength. And stood up for herself. Things were just getting good and then...……..

Yep you guessed it. There's a cliffhanger. But thankfully we don't have to wait that long for book 2.

Omygosh! Secrets leads us on a dark and mysterious journey into a secret world that only a few are aware of. An underground type of world.
Sterling is dangerous and dominant. He is the king in his world. When sparks are ignited between him and Kennedy you see a softer side to him. The few times he lets his guard down. He will protect and claim what he wants.
Kennedy is stubborn and strong willed. Her sassy mouth will not back down from Sterling. The man that sent her world spiraling in every direction. The mystery that surrounds her and her past that only Sterling has the keys to.
The story had me hooked! Everytime Sterling spoken it was direct at me. So hot.
The story does end in a wild cliffy! So worth the wait! Next Lies!

*The King by Skye Warren 5 🌟
The things that Penny and Damon had to endure as children will rip your heart out.
Sure Penny had it bad. Mom who had boyfriends that brought needles for gifts. A father who was rarely home due to his  gambling addiction. Alone for days without food. This was nothing compared to what Damon went through in the hands of his father.
One night a bond grew between baby genius and quarter. He would always try to protect her and keep her secret. His father cannot find out!
Years later the two reunited under unusual circumstances. Their journey begins. Two lost and tortured souls.
Evil lurks in the shadows looking for the perfect opportunity to strike out claiming his next victim. A victim that is close to his son's heart.
I could feel the emotions of the characters. The story had me flipping through the pages craving more.
There is a cliffy since this is part of a duet. On to Queen

Wow! Dark Mafia Prince absolutely blew me away!! I'm definitely hooked!
Annika Martin has a unique style of writing that will grab you with unexpected twists and turns in every corner.
I loved the scene when Mira was gunslinging, speaking Russian quotes from movies. Lol

Sebastian Scafoni is the first born. His choice is Helena Willow who is not a virgin unlike her sisters. Their journey will leave you breathless. The controlling dominant vs the strong sassy mouth woman.
Ethan, well he's a little off and sadistic.
Gregory is quiet and observant but you can sense the wickness in him. This man needs his own story.
Lucinda is definitely worse than the normal step mom villian!
The cliffy blew me away! On to Torn!

A good story but a lot of sex. Sorta ends in a cliffy.

Holy smokes! The Syndicate, the Irish Mafia and the IRA!

This is a fantastic collection of romances ranging from dark and twisted to explosive and gritty! I've read a number of these and truly enjoyed them:

Taken - The Dark Legacy Duet kicks off, giving us a twisted society where the daughters of the Willow family are essentially put up for auction to be chosen by the men of the Scafoni family for their pleasure. Sebastian chooses Helena over her sisters, and so begins their strangely kinky relationship of sorts. Helena is now Sebastian's to do with as he will, and it's a real battle of wills between them. She's left feeling hopeless, but Sebastian has shown a different side to him. She just can't be sure whether he's the good guy in all this, and the rest of his family isn't much better at times. I was completely enthralled with this book, which was fraught with secrets, hidden agendas and lies, and this first book left me completely hanging and dying for book 2!

A Kiss to Tell - Sebastian and Chloe had a special connection even as younger kids. This book gave us a lot of Sebastian's story, though told in dual POV. It wasn't as deeply engaging, but we do get much of his inner thoughts and turmoil, especially with everyone around them working to keep these two apart. Lots of emotion and angst are involved, which I should know to expect!

Captive of the Hitman - I love a ruthless hitman with a heart! Once Mikhail decided to save Alicia, he set in motion a chain of events that kept the action pumping and the heat burning between Mikhail and his kotika. It was an inst-lust/insta-love romance, but with a man like Mikhail, you know he will protect Alicia, whatever it takes!

The King - This is the first part of a duet, and even though it doesn't end here, I knew I still wanted to get Damon and Penny's story. Both of them had a difficult childhood, forcing them to grow up too fast in a world filled with questionable people. I felt their fear and their struggles along with them. All of the main characters in this series have had huge challenges to overcome, and their stories may not be the easiest to take, but they're no less captivating. I loved this story in this continuing saga, and I just can't wait for The Queen to come!

*****The King by Skye Warren: Riveting
This story pulled me in immediately and didn’t let go. A good storyline that’s well executed with a good pace, strong characters, and a dark theme. The redeeming qualities in this story are the good people, making do the best they can. A love story with deep feelings, barely acknowledged in this story - to conclude in the final book of this duet, “Queen”. Yes, I will be reading it!

*****Dark Mafia Prince by Annika Martin: I loved this story!
This story grabbed my interest immediately and I couldn’t put it down. It’s well written, with a fast pace and a riveting storyline. It’s a dark romance done with a light touch and likable characters. It has all the feels, with humor, attraction, fear, love, and loyalty. Really good!

This story kept me reading, but it was disturbing at times. It was well written, with a good pace. But. It ends on a big cliffhanger...

****Captive of the Hitman by Alexis Abbott: Fast paced and steamy
This is an entertaining story with lots of action, danger, and steam. Some of it’s a bit over the top which pulled me out of the story. Still, a pretty good read.

***A Kiss to Tell by Willow Winters: so much darkness
I just couldn’t get into this book, but I wanted to finish it so I skimmed a lot. Very dark circumstances, nightmares, murders, a hint of insanity, connections, escape.... but. I didn’t understand why the dreams/nightmares, or why Marcus would text Chloe. Or why the list was important to Marcus, etc... Many questions left unanswered...

SECRETS by Aleatha RomigThis grips you from the very first page, Sterling Sparrow is a name everyone knows and fears pure Alpha with huge secrets and hes claiming what is his the fierce sassy strong willed Araneae who I absolutely love, as she holds her own and stands up for herself and nothing is made easy as they go head to head to unravel so many secrets and twists at every turn. There is danger everywhere and the chemistry between these two is intense and earthshaking and I cant get enough this is addicting and unforgettable and I cannot wait for more of this exciting thrilling story.

OMG!!!! This book, it delivers everything you want in an enemies to lovers and dark read, Sebastian Scafoni carries on with the tradition of picking a Willow girl and his sights are on Helena the chosen one, just one look and he knows she will be his challenge. Helena is sassy and feisty and does not back down and she tells herself she will survive but who does she trust and listen to, this is one sadistic crazy family and I already despise the mother, the brothers Im not sure yet. There are secrets and drama down right meanness with punishments that are expected for Helena, but when Sebastian brings out his good side the hotness and scenes are smoldering hot and it is intense and that cliffhanger just Whoa!!! didn't see that and I cannot wait for more.

Mafia daddy by Renee Rose

Jenna has been finally found by her fathers solider Alex who she has lusted after since the age of 15 and its like a dream but forbidden, but oh boy the attraction and want from these to are seriously off the charts hot. I loved both characters and their attitudes and all the sassy moments that come out of Jennas mouth and the delicious spanking she gets and Alex is determined to deliver.

My review is for CAPTIVE OF THE HITMAN by ALEXIS ABBOTT. I'm excited to read all the stories in this box set.

Alicia works for a congressman. Trying to advance in her career, she accepts an invitation for drinks and dinner with him and his associates. Thinking it to be a harmless invitation, but by accepting, it is assumed she is open to much more.
Mikhail is a hitman out on a job, only this job has a glitch. A woman who was definitely not supposed to be there. Oh well, collateral damage...nothing new. Maybe in this case it is.
Mikhail realizes by keeping Alicia alive, he seems to have bitten off more than he can chew. So unlike him. Normally he is in complete and total control in all situations he deals with. Alicia is one situation he never bargained for. As things heat up, Mikhail needs to keep Alicia safe, and that means keeping her far way from him.
Women have no place in his life. Feelings have no place in his life. Can Alicia change all that? Would she even want to?
This was a great story. I loved the characters. I instantly remembered Mikhail and Leon's conversation from Saved By The Outlaw, GREAT BOOK, by the way, with Cherry and Leon. It was great to visit with them again.
Mikhail and Alicia were two characters that knew they were both missing something in their lives, but didn't realize it until they were without each other. The tricky part was trying to figure out how to be together, and if that was possible.
THIS STORY WAS ACTION PACKED AND VERY DRIVEN ! FLOWED SMOOTHLY AND WELL WRITTEN ! NO LULLS IN THIS STORY, BUT PLENTY OF WILD, HOT, STEAMY SEX ! ! GREAT BOOK ! ALEXIS ABBOTT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT !

I love mafia romances and this has a lot of good authors. Here is my review for one of the stories in here. I can’t wait to read the rest.
A Kiss To Tell by W Winters- She has done it again!! This is Chloe and Sebastian's story. Two people who have known each other since childhood. Separately they are lost,, but together they are found. They are the salve to each other's pain and they are unstoppable as long as they are together. This story has darkness, lots of angst, heart wrenching pain, secrets and questioning if there are really coincidences. These two mesh so perfectly and they won't let the other fall. The chemistry they have has been simmering for years and it finally explodes. You will get to see Carter during a crucial time in his life and how much Sebastian looks out for those he cares for. This book had me hooked from the beginning and I could not out it down. Willow has a way of writing the stories that pull you in and make you feel like you are right there. You will laugh and cry with these characters. This storyline just flows smoothly and I highly recommend this book.

MAFIA DADDY by Renee Rose - Super hot and intense, this shorter length read offers plenty of sizzle and sweet.

SECRETS by Aleatha Romig - Is an exciting, keep you dancing on the edge read that will quickly pull you in and leave you craving more. Whether you are hating-to-love the dark, controlling Sterling or cheering on sassy and spunky Araneae as she goes toe-to-toe with him, these characters shall put your emotions through the wringer.

I've based my review on two authors in this anthology.
THE KING by Skye Warren:
Penny's father gambles every day until he owes ALMOST everyone in town. The only way to pay his debts is to enter the big game but the entry fee is $10,000. Damon is the son of a criminal king and has paid a hefty price for that title. He's grown now but does he have any humanity left? I truly am in love with these characters and sub characters in this series. Skye Warren has taken her readers on such a journey through a maze of trials and emotions that have brought each to life beautifully.

MAFIA DADDY by Renee Rose:
This is a quick, easy read done in Renee Rose style. Overbearing Mafia Don, the famiglia princess with a marriage contract to another mafia family, and the Don's first soldier sent to bring her home. All the sexy Dom attitude and spankings you could ask for in this novella will bring unexpected results. A great addition to a terrific series.

If using these two works as a representation of what to expect from the other authors, there is literally hours of enjoyment waiting to be explored. Since this is offered for a limited time, don't miss it. You'll surely be disappointed

TAKEN BY NATASHA KNIGHT - 5 Stars Rating

Wow! Get ready to be sucked in from the first page for a roller coaster ride full of emotions.

Taken is book one of the Dark Legacy Duet. It's a dark twisted story about the tradition between two families and the sacrifices that must be made. It’s a story full of family secrets and deception with twists and turns you wont expect. There are characters you will like and there are characters that you will absolutely loathe and despise. Who is telling the truth and who is lying? Although Sebastian Scafoni and Helena Willow are the main two characters, the rest of the Scafoni family play a major part in the events that unravel. That ending left me anxious and on the edge of my seat! Thank goodness book two Torn has already been released and available.

Sadly I didn't care much for this story. It was an okay read, however some of the scenes were a little over the top.

OK if you read “King of Diamonds,” you already know the players. Jenna was supposed to marry Nico but thank goodness, that engagement was ended. Now Jenna is free, well sort of. She has had the hots for Alex, her father’s second in command. She and Alex have had sexual tension from the beginning.

You have to give it to Alex, he held it together. That man could have jumped her while she was drunk but he wanted her sober. I like him already. And holy hell can he talk dirty. Alex can make anyone wet. You have to love a man that knows the Don will kill him for touching his daughter and he can’t resist her. He knew Jenna wouldn’t be happy back home and needed to be free. Jenna got the best of it all with Alex. YEAH!

Mafia Romance At it’s Best

You will be on the edge of your seat reading the very best authors of this genre in this amazing collection of dark Mafia Romance.
My review is for one of the books I have read up to now, Captive of the Hitman by Alexis Abbott. An amazing fast paced, action packed, intense read. Mikhail Volkov is a Russian assassin for the Mafia. Alicia is a witness in a hotel when Mikhail kills her boss Congressman Gallego. Will Alicia be collateral damage on his assassination mission? Will Gregorovich silence both her and Mikhail? Has Alicia been captured or rescued? Inciting Mikhail could be her downfall. A highly recommended collection that you simply must read. Will be reading the rest of this collection post haste.

This is for "Secrets" by Aleatha Romig, I can't wait to read the rest of these.
Sterling Sparrow is as sexy, demanding and intriguing as any hero that Aleatha has written before. He will leave you breathless and wanting more from him.
Aranaea is the woman he has waited his live for because she belongs to him. But he must tell her the "Secrets" of her past and keep her safe. But she is a strong, independent woman that has a sassy mouth that Sterling finds appealing but he has to make her see that he is the one to protect her.

Captive of the Hitman by Alexis Abbott

Really liked this book and story line. As always Alexis writes dreamy book boyfriend chatacters and Mikhail does not dissappoint. He is a big, alpha tough guy....which are my favorite kind. He has a large "hit" to do on some bad guys, but he spares Alicia and takes her with him. These 2 have off the charts chemistry. I love that Alicia is pretty tough too when she needs to be, no cliche damsel in distress. These 2 were so in sync that by the end they were a scorching duo. Safe read, and I love that there was an epilogue, so that we got to see what these 2 explosive characters were up to. Great book.

Something different

I got this collection because of Kaye Blue but I figured I'd enjoy a few of the other stories too. A couple held my interest. One in particular I was really enjoying, then it ended right when it was getting very exciting, so I guess I'd have to buy the book to see how it actually ends. Another story I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be paranormal or what, it was just all over the place. Anyway, 4 stars for the few that were entertaining.

If you have a fan of mafia romance, this is a must have! Amazing reads with excellent characters. The stories have loads of drama and suspense. The heroes are all alpha and possessive the woman they want. The women are strong and know just how to handle these men. Great way to find some more amazing authors in the genre. I loved it!

Mafia. need i say more ... it always pulls me in ... so curious. I have read Aleatha Romig, Skye Warren, Annika Martin, Natasha Knight, Renee Rose, Parker S. Huntington ... maybe i should have listed the ones i have yet to read?? but u get the picture. fun to see authors u know and ones that should know. great collection. makes ya want more ... fun times!!

I would give it 3-1/2 stars. This book set is no longer available on Amazon. Out of the 10 books, I already owned 4. 2 of the stories I hated. The one was not a romance. It was extremely abusive. Most of the stories I enjoyed. They had a great blend of danger, suspense and romance. There were steamy scenes. I liked the characters and plotlines.

I Love mafia romance

This was a great way to get to know writers that I haven't read their work before!! Some of the stories I have already read them but enjoy them again. Amazing book!
