Liana meets Marcus (playboy, rich man who owns the hotel she works at) and they are instantly attracted to each other. He offers her money to spend the weekend with him. You know, as all rich playboys do.
It was a quick read. Story is told from Liana’s POV so it’s hard to really learn about Marcus. Why is he a womanizer? What did he expect her to be like? Why is he so secretive about his beliefs around relationships. We are led to think there may be a story there but we never hear it. Then a threat comes from his past (again we don’t know much about this) and is not resolved at the end of the book. So heads up that the book does not conclude and yet there is no second book as of yet. And although there were a few unanswered questions, I felt like I read enough about their relationship.
