Kyra Brada would be the epitome of lupine royalty... if only she could contact her wolf. Three years ago, Kyra had stood beneath the full moon and waited for a transformation that never came. Unless she found a way to summon her wolf soon, she'd lose her pack and the love of her life—Mikos.
The only thing keeping Kyra from exile is her stale-mated betrothal to Mikos. Once he picks a new mate, Kyra is gone forever. She hasn't given up, but nothing she's tried works.
Then a near-fatal attack makes Kyra take a closer, scrutinizing look at the life she wants. What is she willing to fight for? And is this life worth dying for?

I’ll be straight up and say I didn’t read book 1 nor any other book wrote by this author. So I went into this book blind and from the first page until the last, I had no problems. Instant connection to the story and to Kyra (this whole book is from her POV). I felt her emotions from being shunned away from her pack and even the hurt she felt when knowing that her time is coming up to connect to her wolf or she’ll be forced to leave the pack even if they treat her like a no one. They literally made her live by herself in a camping trailer her mother gifted to her as a (gift) so no one has to see her or think of her. But her time is going fast and her only bond to the pack is Mikos, her agreed upon mate but since the pack is making his find a new female to be his mate is breaking Kyras heart daily. Now on top of loosing family, friends and the only man she loves her life is in danger for a female wolf that wants power and Mikos, and by killing Kyra is one step closer to her goals. Will the newcomer get the power and the man or will an unexpected truce save her life and will they bring out her wolf faster then originally thought???
I could not help but fall in love with the emotions of this story. From the beginning you cannot feel for Kyra. I think I went thru a box of tissues. The details and feeling were rolling of the pages and you could not help but cry.
You watch Kyra grow thru the pages. Between her and Mikos you can see the moment they fall in love with each other.
I have loved each book so far and cannot wait until the next one.
This was a good story. I got swept into it from the first page. I am looking forward to reading more about this series.
Kyra hasn’t been able to shift into her wolf form. Due to tradition she should have been exiled but her betrothal to Mikos allows her to be near the pack until his 25th birthday. That day is quickly approaching and every full moon she has tried to shift. She is largely ignored by her pack until she is attacked. This allows Mikos and Kyra to spend some time together and discussing some things. What will happen on his 25th birthday? Will she be able to find her place in the world?
Gave this 4 stars at first, but finally settled on 3 stars (3.5 stars to be exact). Don't get me wrong, there is enough to like about this book, which is quite unlike any other "shifter romance" that I've seen or personally read. No nudges of "fated mates" was prevalent throughout (thank god.)
This is a slow-burn romance between Kyra and Mikos, and the pacing of the story, while definitely slow (there isn't much action happening throughout , had a lot of relationship development between our main couple. Stuck together due to Kyra's circumstances, they have plenty of time for tough conversations and grow in their feelings for each other. Well, almost. There was just that little spark missing for when they both "truly fall in love," at least for me. The ending chapter seems to leave some loose ends hanging, but thankfully there is an epilogue with a truly HEA.
The story had me entranced from the start. I was feeling every emotion and attachment to the characters. I did get really upset with what was happening to Kyra. After everything the pack had put Kyra through, I was furious and frustrated when it seemed she was just going to try to find her wolf, only to act like the pack had not shunned her and mistreated her for all those years. It was so aggravating and frustrating to the point of almost throwing my kindle across the room. I am glad I took a moment to breathe because my poor kindle would have suffered my dedication to this story...
I really enjoyed the story. And yes people, there is a HEA! Poor Kyra finally gets to bury it all! It was so frustrating good!!

For the last three years, since her eighteenth birthday, Kyra has been shunned by her pack, including her own parents, for not being able to shift into her wolf who has not surfaced in any way, partial or otherwise. Even her betrothed from infancy, the only tie left to the pack, will be forced to find a new mate within a few more moons when he reaches his twenty-fifth birthday and she still has not shifted. I really loved reading Kyra and Mikos story, the struggles and the feelings they kept from each other since their plans to be together were cut off. Definitely worth reading.

The writing will draw you in after only a few pages and have you finishing the book in one sitting. There is the perfect amount of angst and romance to keep you hooked. I loved how the relationship unfolded slowly so we could see these amazing characters grow in ways they never expected. I would suggest picking up a copy of both books asap you will not be disappointed. Each book can be read as a standalone or they can be read in order of publication as one long series. Each book is interconnected, with many of the same characters showing up in multiple books.

Kyra's wolf did not manifest when expected, and instead of support, her pack turned their backs on the young wolf. Mikos was betrothed to Kyra when they were too young to understand what that meant. Both are still quite young, trying to understand why Kyra's wolf is distant, why the pack was quick to shun her, and why she accepted their disgraceful behaviors so readily. Sierra's attack on her was brutal and planned; I was upset with how it was handled by the Alpha, pack elders, and the pack. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

What happens to a wolf who can’t shift? Will her pack accept her or force he to leave? Those are only two of the possible outcomes for Kyra. She only has two more full moons to find her wolf. Otherwise she will lose her family, home and the one male she has always craved. I enjoyed reading her story. There are so many ups but way more downs. She is an amazing woman that has not let her spirit be broken. And then there is Mikos. He is definitely an unknown element even though they have know each other for forever. An amazing story of surviving at all costs.
I had had a hard time with the previous book in this serious because I just couldn't connect with the main characters. I had no problem in this book. I loved the idea of the Kyra turning from the spoiled princess to outcast and learning to fight for the things that meant something to her. Mikos was tricky. He was a bit hard to read, but it made their relationship more interesting. Definitely ready to read more.
I really loved reading this book from beginning to end! Mikos and Kyra had this chemistry that Mikos tried to deny! He couldn't stay away from her like he was or ordered to. Like everyone was ordered to. I guess this is why I loved this story so much. Kyra feeling so all along, being attacked, and just wishing she were dead! I'm glad she finally didn't give up hope and Mikos staying by her side when it really mattered! This is a book I think paranormal lovers will enjoy! I definitely recommend it to others! Happy Reading!
Night Born has some extremely powerful moments! Kyra has been through so much and it has only just begun. This is a well written story with many feels that will have you sympathizing with Kyra. There are some characters that you will not know how to feel about until the very end. I received an advanced copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a honest, unbiased review.
This is the first book that I have read by this author. The storyline is intriguing and entertaining and the characters great. If you enjoy reading about shapehifters then this is the book for you. I loved the chemistry between Mikos and Kyra.

Kyra being shunned from her pack longed to shift. Mykos loved her and longed to be alpha of his own pack because she hadn’t shifted. After kyra was attacked and his grandparents helped her heal they couldn’t stay apart. Great characters and a great adventure.

Excellent example of a woman surviving and empowering through her strength. Kyra & Mikos were a young couple who grew into each other. The aughor created likeable MC. Its hard to see Kyra suffer but engaging to watch her prevail. Good story to show perseverence. Good job Ms Glenn. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.
A great new romance. Kyra can’t call her wolf. She and Miko have been promised to each other since her birth. It is a very good story of heartache, love, and acceptance. I really enjoyed reading this book. I couldn’t put it down. If you love goof stories you have to read this one. I highly recommend it!!

Wow!! So emotional. This book draws you in and keeps your focus the entire time! I got so invested in Kyra and her emotional roller coaster. She deserved so much more from her family. Even from Mikos. But still an amazing book! Highly recommend!
Wow what a read, a very emotional one. I couldn’t put this book down. My first book by this author. I cannot wait for more. I recieved a copy via Booksprout and this is my honest review
This book like the previous two is awesomeness.Kyra can't summon her wolf. Therefore the pack pity and ignore her. She learned alot about herself. wonderful characters and story.
A great enjoyable read kept my attention from start to finish and I’d recommend reading it the author had a way with words that had me hooked can’t wait for more
I really enjoyed this book so much and couldn't get enough of the story and characters at all. She had tried everything to get her wolf to come out. Everything about this I just loved.
Kyra Brado is wolf shifter unable to shift, she had two more months before she be sent away.Mikos Fekete is her mate. Arranged when they were just children.
