Excellent book, written with much insight and also love and compassion. A formidable book to face the tragedy of bereavement.
No nonsense, factual, none of the wishy washy stuff that plagues many "new age" books.
Also and foremost, Pierre Yonas is one of the very few people and authors who accepts to address the question of evil.
Being a student of genocide and political scientist, reflecting about evil is not something I can avoid. As a human being living at the beginning of the twenty-first century, this not either a question I can avoid. This is anyway one of the mysteries with which human beings have struggled throughout ages.
A must read for anyone who is facing the departure of loved ones, and a must read for anyone who believes that we have not yet understood everything and that a scientific mind is first to remain open to what one does not know.

Several years after his first books "Sur les ailes d'un ange" and "Paroles d'âmes", Pierre Yonas explores another facet of his profession as a medium and healer.
I am fortunate to know Pierre, a mentor dear to my heart, he is a simple and humble man who does not flaunt his abilities. In Pierre's Parisian office, a poster dedicated to him by one of his clients reads "for my friend the soul defroster" and there is no better phrase to describe his profession as a healer. In this book, Pierre tells his story and invites us to discover the man he is on a daily basis. The other side of the coin of helping others and the weight of mediumistic abilities which can be a heavy burden to bear. In each line we find the humour, kindness and generosity that characterise the author so well. Without excessive supernaturalism, Pierre explains the mechanisms of the suffering of the soul and his experiences in trying to relieve it. But he reminds us that whatever we are, we remain only human... If you are looking for a book of egotistical spirituality, go the other way because here you will find only simplicity and naturalness. Pierre's words are a concentrate of inspiration that makes you think.
