I read this series as a kid and this is my attempt to review it now:

First off, the Nix. He was my favorite in this book. Such a cute creature. The illustrations were really beautiful in this one too. I stayed up late to finish this one, it was the first time I'd ever stayed up to read before, so it brought a really fond memory.
