If you have stumbled here, you already know what this book is (a favorite of Winston Churchill). It's heavy, dry, academic prose, and not for the faint of heart, nor anyone who does not read Latin, French, and a little German. But if you want to swallow a dense dose of European History, this and Volume I are the books for you.

It is a great book about the history of European Morals, but not only, it has so many important facts about European people and culture that makes it more attractive. Recommended!
