This is a nice little book that presents the historical change of trends related to beauty, especially when it comes to women. I've learned quite a few things about how makeup and clothes were perceived in various times and cultures and the illustrations are stunning. My only complaint is that the author occasionally uses overly complicated words for a message that I believe could be expressed in a simpler way.

Más que de la belleza, es de lo considerado como atractivo en las mujeres a lo largo de los años. Interesante, por supuesto, pero triste pensar desde cuándo y qué tan profunda es ese performance de "lo bello" dentro del universo femenino:(
