Secondhand Dreams

Rate this book
Roseanna MacAuly dreamed about owning a fashionable clothing boutique. She dreamed about it every time she was teased at school for wearing her sister’s patched hand-me-down dresses. She dreamed about it every time her thrift store shoes pinched. But that dream gets put on hold when she inherits a run-down secondhand shop. How strange life can seem sometimes. Why would fate have chosen to give her the one kind of store she didn’t want? And it’s not just old clothes that Roseanna wants out of her life. Her distaste for anything used extends to men. After a disastrous relationship with a divorced man, she vows to stay far away from men who have been married. So when handsome, bedeviling, and divorced Simon Oakes opens his antique shop across the street, Roseanna is faced with a new problem. What is she going to do about her secondhand man?

Very good book about two people who own a store with old furnishings that fall in love in no time at all and then they share their greatest secrets that they find out in a way they grew up in the same life just millions of miles away.
