About the author

Derek Prince (1915-2003), was an International Bible teacher and founder of Derek Prince Ministries International, wrote more than fifty books.
He was born in India of British parents. Educated as a scholar of Greek and Latin at Eton College and Cambridge University, England, he held a Fellowship in Ancient and Modern Philosophy at King’s College. He also studied Hebrew and Aramaic, at Cambridge University and the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. His daily radio broadcast, Derek Prince Legacy Radio, still reaches listeners around the world.

Years ago, I was thirsting for the HS and was looking for books to quench this thirst. Recently, I came to discover a book written by Derek Prince and I admired his knowledge and wisdom. It’s rare for me to find such teachings even in churches I’ve attended. I have read a book with a similar title from a different author and I think both authors were really inspired by the HS. Why do I write HS instead of spelling it out? I have been always afraid of the HS because of the mortal sin thing and I have utterly and completely respected the holiness of the trinity.

This book is a great resource to reference spiritual warfare focused bible living waters that will flow as you read only noticing that experience with the word of God will cause your inhalation of this material in no time. There is nothing written in this hook that is not inspired and supported by chapter and verse. Some are preferring this format, I found it inerrant and mature. I read this 7 years ago so I remember only the general experience of reading it, I'll try to reread it and update this review as necessary. I received a anointing will in meditation of this book.

As someone who comes from a very different denominational background from this author. I found it very interesting to read about his view of Holy Spirit baptism. Wouldn't say I fully agree with everything. But he definitely has some good points and worth thinking about. I always find it helpful to reading widely in different Christian traditions as it helps you recognize your own hang-ups and blind spots. He certainly makes a good case that the Holy Spirit should have a much more powerful and active role in the Christian life than many western Christians seem to expect.
