I picked it up because it was set in Arkansas, where I grew up, but there really wasn't a lot of local flavor in it. There was a fair amount of action but I didn't personally find it all that compelling. This is the 8th installment in this series but I've never read any of the previous ones. At this point, I don't imagine I'll continue with the series. Others might differ.
