I have been reading plenty of Isekais lately and this one is about a underated tank looked down upon and framed as a rapist, murderer, evildoer by his allies and those that summoned him. Its pretty much to the point, where the main character has to go through many obstacles and handicaps with the help of people that get to know him and believe in him seeing the kind person he is deep down. There isn't any fan service which is nice and the first female main character is one that truly develops into her own more than others.
Still continues to be one of my favourite series to date. Be it the manga or anime!
This volume was really good continuing in the developments after the anime, so much information being revealed along with new missions!! That last panel really sets up the next volume so well!
Wow!!! A moving mountain turtle? That is rare!!! I always want to know how does it feel to walk around on the top of mountain turtle. Will it be moving while we are walking? Anyway, those three heroes are making so much troubles for the queen and the rest of the village. I also hope that Naofumi won't have a fight with those evil guys.
2) English Review Sigh, Fitoria and her priorities (and depression) would certainly be easier to understand if one knew more about them. And after the Qi master from the last volume, there are now more East Asian elements, not just a giant tortoise with a mountain on its back, which reminds Naofumi of the tortoise that carries Mount Horai, but there is a country there that is conspicuously Chinese looking. The board with the representatives of the other kingdoms looks like a gathering of people across the Eurasian continent. I also wondered if their plan to use a city as bait would work. Because that city was evacuated and the turtle has only attacked inhabited settlements so far. In the end it didn't matter because the turtle had already been decapitated. What people attribute to Naofumi, and shows what has changed, is now celebrated instead of shunned. And since all those monsters come from that turtle, I wonder why. Was the turtle freaked out? And why is Kiru left behind after he only reappeared in the last volume? Didn't the author know what to do with him? And after all that the band ends on a cliffhanger when the protective spirit of the turtle appears.
