As reward for stopping a serial killer and restoring the Kingdom of Vlachia to its rightful ruler, Dragozin Hector and his queen dragon, Karalti, have earned a noble title, a castle, and land of their own.

There’s only one problem – it’s occupied. By a freaking elder vampire.

Not only has the vampire unleashed the blight of undeath across the land, but a crazed ex-developer is on the warpath. His mission? To take Hector’s dragon, free the Void Dragons, and use their combined power to become the Dragon-God Emperor of Archemi.

Hector never wanted to go back to war, not even in a video game. But now, he must fight to claim his territory from Ol’ Fangface before everything is taken from him - including his beloved dragon.

The language in this is so familiar to me, the things being said were things I'd say to my friends and them to me. I took time to read Baldwin's description and found he's a fellow Aussie, Aussie, Aussie. Oi, Oi, Oi!

Also, the book was full of action and I can't wait for Karalti to grow and kick the villain's arse!

Well....what can I say....this took me less then a week for 700+ pages.

Book three, and we are still learning, growing, evolving.
Like the first two books Kindome Come is a book about relationships. Hectors starts learning to trust in his chosen familiy...and his chosen family learns to trust each other.
This one, although still slightly political was much more a warbook then everything else in the series. It has twists and turns, throws in a few everlasting challenges. It is written by someone who clearly loves videogames and tabletop games and it shows! Can't wait to get my hands on book four in may!

Edit: Round two! This time with a spectacular audiobook! Book four and five are out, here is to a swift audiobookrelease!

Non-stop action

Is that a settlement building coming up or am I just happy to see it?

Great story and tieing off of a lot of dangling arcs. It also does an awesome job of setting up the follow up books with enough intrigue and reveals to make me wish book #4 was just around the corner.

The story moved forward really well. I think the author did a good job expanding the world, the lore, and the threat further. The action sequences were intense. You were never really sure what way things would shake out. He also introduces new concepts to the story that added extra stakes to everything going on.

Some things I didn’t love was the status menus and status updates. I listened to this as an audiobook so it was hard to skip, but as a physical book I sometimes jump over these sections because they can be so large and have so much info. They establish early that he doesn’t want to have sex with his dragon, but then also create sexual tension. Even after saying that the dragon is like his child and he feels like her parent and that neither of them feel attracted to each other like that, there’s still a lot of scenes where there’s a sexual tension that just kind of feels awkward. The vulgarity in the way he talks starts to feel like a bit much after 45 hours of audio books.

Overall I thought it was solid. With how it ends, I’m interested in seeing what the next 3 books look like and how that affects him as a person and how he interacts with the world.

Lost me on this one

Way too many new mechanics and characters all at once. We have barely done much with the existing mechanics and characters and now we get a dump truck full of new ones.

At a certain point, this just became a scroll fest for me. I would play the game though lol.

Character development feel like 1 step forward 2 leaps back. Ick on the MC and his Dragon sex thing. Tired of the MC contently reminding himself that he is in a game, when this game is he new reality and forever place.

Love this series

So again an awesome litrpg DRAGON story. Hits all the high marks. The main character is flawed and driven both OP and weak/vulnerable depending on battle and circumstance. The story is complex and getting more so but in a manageable manner.
This episode takes place mostly in the swamp. Undead and vampires being the problem. To claim his nobility and fight the corruption the MC must save his new reform from the Vampire invasion. Might be easier if battling the undead were the only problem as the is strife in the ranks of the defenders that must be dealt with first and fast. Grind, level, learn. The real magic for survival.
Can't wait for more hope the author is already into the next book.

Quite the read and story

I was a bit upset at this book having so many spelling errors or wrong words. At the end the writer explains why which made me feel a lot better. Some of it I tried reading it into the story as the way the characters talk and think. However the writing is very good. The characters are likable and I want to know more about them. I'm not a fan of when the story gets technical but I like that its in the books. My favorite thing about the series so far is the story itself often changes course when you don't expect it to. You are chugging along fighting a warsinger and the next moment crawling through pipes in the mountain side then talking to a shadow dragon. This happens quit often. Can't wait for book 4!!

Dragons! More dragons! And undead!

What makes stories with a cool dragon riding protagonist better? Undead abominations. And there’s a lot of that in this book. All sorts of fun battles and cool scenes... and also a hell of a lot of story telling.

This story really spends the time to grow the characters out from some of the rapid fire action of the previous books. Though there is certainly lots of action in this book, there’s a few moments of key growth that happens within this story and is paced somewhat slower (in a good way) than the previous.

I really liked this book, and will read book 4. Do recommend .

There are some rather odd grammar errors in this one, though those are explained by the author notes at the end, so perhaps those will get fixed.
Otherwise, this isn't quite as engrossing as the previous book in the series, but it's still definitely a decent read, and even has some interesting surprises in it. It's definitely worth the read if you liked the previous book, though it might be a bit confusing for those who haven't done so.

Amazing work James!

Another stupendous and amazing work by James Osiris! I have to say that I am already eagerly anticipating the next volume, but I would like to also say that the author should not work himself too hard. As they say “good things come those who wait”. So I’m happy to wait for James to do his work in a way that produces a product of the highest quality and beyond. Keep up the awesome work James!

Massive!

This story, like the game, is actually massive. There's loads of nerd type technical stuff going on, all the time, it's ok when you're learning something new, but a lot of it is extremely repetitive and boring. I have learned to skim those bits, however, the actual storyline is clever, thrilling, heartbreaking and, funny as all heck. I actually burst out laughing a couple of times with this one. Definitely worth a read, but can feel like it's dragging.

After last book, our heroes are now faced with having to battle some undead to make effective the titles given to them.

The problem is that it's not several undeads, it's a whole army, and undeads are not limited to people, also all kind of beasts get undead in this book.

There are significant changes in this story, so significant that they may take the story into different directions.

Another improvement in story for this increasingly interesting series, some of the plot changes and surprises made this jump levels in entertainment and with solid performance from SBT then this is a great purchase for any collection. I would like to see a bit more of previous characters from previous books but this may happen in further books otherwise very good.

Another good entry

More of Hector and group doing what they do. Not a terrible amount to say. The book is as direct continuation of story from the last book, you know what to expect.

The narrators were great once again. The sounds in the book weren't as great as the previous book and a few of them were pretty bad.

A few more sexual scenes than the previous book in case people care about that.

First and foremost there are so many new and amazing characters and personalities in this book several of them had me cracking up. The shift for Hector towards the end is amazing and wasn't where I was thinking it was going to go. I love the direction this book series is going you can't wait to read more.

Another well contained story. I haven’t really liked how under leveled the MC is and to find out our antagonists are even higher leveled now was annoying. The plot was interesting and compelling. There are some really cool advancements to our MC that I am curious to see how they play out in the next book.

MC is horrible character, Suri barely cares for him and Keralti is simply forced to care for him. The thing with the dragon is super weird as she is two weeks old.

Finished my 1-3 books I bought in a bundle and dropping series. Hector Park might be the worst protagonist I have ever seen, slimy and super distasteful. Ignorant and short sighted. It was a genuine pain to read this.

Dudes wife probably read chapter 28 and decided to divorce him. MCs former snuff/sex slave gf teaches his polymorphed dragon child how to mastubate. They have rough sex while he's enjoying his dragon daughter's orgasm though their bond. But you're supposed to feel good about it because he asks for consent and he set a safe word.

Fantastic!

Increasingly entertaining with each new release, this has to be my favorite of the series so far from character development to combat to game mechanics it’s fantastic and worth the read!

Good book

I have really enjoyed this series so far. The books are definitely a little bit darker than some of the others in this genre, and that makes them stand out to me. Check it out.

There was a lot of info-dump in this book. Frankly, I would have preferred some of it be in afterwords, or afternotes, or something. Still, the story clipped along nicely and even ended up in a relatively good place - except now we need to get Suri, and that is in the next book!

Needs editing

This book needs a little more refinement in the form of editing (there is at least 20 times when he says bought instead of brought, it really breaks the immersion). And I am not a fan of all the cursing but other than that it is an engaging read.

Yikes I have a lot of catching up to do.

There's a lot of explanation that happens in this book, doing a great job of more setting up both the game world and the real world. Though the more I hear about it, the more I'd like to have a real world story line running along side this one.

Great continuation to a very enjoyable series. Love the expanded mythos as well as the character development. Lagged slightly in the middle of the story but the action both before and after easily made up for it. Looking forward to the next one.

Very funny but it's too dark for my taste. Suri's background was horrific and unnecessary for the story. Lots of bad things happening and not much good to make up for it - it's one shitshow after another and that's exhausting. Not my cup of tea.

This was a DNF and I had to give up on the series. I like the author but the constant f-bombs that did not serve the story just made the MC seem unbearably immature. I also found the plot mechanic took an odd turn for the worst.

Awesome

Awesome read. This has been one of the only "gaming" book series that has kept my attention throughout the storyline. Can't wait for the next book.
