Millionaire. Football Star. Single Dad.
But London only knows about the last one.
When she shows up with her own son to football camp,
I want to get into her end zone.
She's cute and flirty.
Best of all, she doesn't have a clue as to who I am.
It's refreshing. It's perfect.

Spending a couple months watching our kids train with such an incredible woman.
I couldn't ask for more.
But what will happen when the truth comes out?
I've waited too long without letting her in on such an important part of my past.
My fans have other plans.
She's been hurt before and has her defenses up.
I've got to break through that line.
Because in the end, I'll make her mine.

This is a nice change for romance. Both characters are established and have lived a little. London is 33 and has a teenage son. She was very young when she had her son. Over the years she has met a few losers but she remains optimistic but cautious. Cole is late 30's, divorced, and has custody of his teenage son. They meet when both sons attends football camp. they are attracted to each other but takes things slow. Friendly conversations finally result in a date. London thinks Cole is great but notice some inconsistencies. She thinks he is a math teacher/coach. He is so much more. He is a retired NFL player. He has enjoyed being with London without the pressures of his fame. As time passes, will London forgive him for keeping the secret?

Has some good moments.
This was a good romance to read in a day if you like sports love stories. Although this is more about Cole, the star quarterback’s life one year after he retires and divorces a top model. He still lives in a mega mansion with his son. Drives an Escalade and is a math teach and the football coach at a high school in Boston. Post pro he meets a single mom, London who is not a size 0 but a size 12. She laments that this size constitutes her being fat. Really!!
The storyline was well constructed and the characters well developed. However, here’s a case where the teenagers are made to come off smarter than the parents. Yea...I don’t watch tv shows where writers make the parents out to be stupid so I wasn’t too fond of fifteen year old boys giving advice.
I am leaving this review for your consideration. Peace.

London is a single mother to a fifteen year son. She wants him to enjoy his high school years so when he asked about a foot ball camp she enrolled him even though it was expensive. One the first day she meets Cole a single father and a teacher at the high school. They hit it off and the next day she dresses better for practice to entice him to ask her out. Cole is worried about rushing London so it takes him until the end up football camp to ask her out. They really connect and London thinks that she has finally found the one. However Cole is keeping his past a secret and he knows that he needs to tell her before its too late. Will his secret end their blooming relationship?

This is a great story that will captivate you from the first page. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This story is really good as well as the storyline and the characters. What troubled me really much were all the typos and wording errors in the story. The first few chapters were ok and then the errors started.... OMG... I have no choice but to take a star off because of it. After sending sooooo many to the author I just gave up. I must say it is sad for an author to either write so badly, or send out Advanced Readers Copies that are totally unedited... because - well, I don´t have anything to judge by than what I am reading at each point. But that aside I really enjoyed reading this story, i.e. beside all the errors that will hopefully have been edited out.... So my only option for the star rating is to give three stars whereas it would have gotten four had it already been edited.

When London signs up her son for summer football camp the last thing she is looking for is romance. When a tall, blonde haired, blue eyed man comes to her rescue to help her son with his shoulders pads she’s immediately smitten! When Cole meets London he’s intrigued! When he discovers she has no idea that he was a super bowl winning quarterback, his interest is increased. He realizes for the first time he can date someone and be a regular Joe Schmo! The attraction was there from the beginning but the romance took some time before they started dating. It was an interesting love story in that it took both their kids feelings into account and explored them. This was a good book but nothing really special about it.

London signs up her 15 year -old son for summer football camp because she's hoping he'll make some friends in their new hometown. She's certainly not looking for romance. She meets a tall, blonde haired, blue eyed man who starts talking to her at every camp meeting. She’s in like, much to her son's chagrin. Cole is intrigued and very happy that she has no idea he was a top-knotch football player! He can date someone and be himself! The attraction was there from the beginning but the romantic interest took over two months to get started! I don't know what he was waiting for!! This was an okay book but it moved too slowly for me. Terry Towers' books are usually more sexy!!

Single mom and the ex NFL star.

London is 33, a single mom to 15 yo Justin. They’re new to Boston and she enrolls him in a summer football camp. They are both new to the game.

Cole Grant is 38ish and a divorced single dad to his teenage son Alexander, also attending the same camp.

For two months, Cole builds a relationship with London. He’s taking things slow, really slow and keeping a big secret from her. Who he really is. Not just the teacher and coach.

Things I loved about this book:
They are age appropriate.
They are both in their thirties with teenage kids.
They build a relationship.
Cole is pretty awesome and London deserves the best man for her.
Verdict- loved it!

London was swept off her feet by her son’s handsome football coach and high school math teacher. She was halfway in love with him when she found out he was a recent NFL football star recently retired.
The fame and attention that followed them wasn’t something she enjoyed and his ex wife who was a beautiful model didn’t help with London’s self image.
I liked the way Cole was determined to convince her that he was serious about their relationship, but I never really felt the emotional connection between this sweet couple.

I loved this story of London and Cole! It is a sweet love story where Cole is a famous resently retired NFL player and London is a romance writer! They both have a son that participates in a summer football camp and that is how they meet! She does not know who he is and they get to know each other withouth the complication of fame, it doesn't last and they have a slight hickup about who he really is and an altercation with Coles ex-wife does not help! You have to read the story to find out what happens! I loved this story and would have enjoyed spending more time with these caracters!

For me this was a sweet and sexy romance. The ARC I read had typos and some huh? moments for me, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt that these have been sorted. I enjoyed the relationships they had each with their children and how they were friends first. I felt for both Cole and London - they each hand hang ups but were still brave enough to try for something. I liked how Cole never gave up and helped her to deal with her issues and I really liked that London eventually realise her own worth and stood up for herself.

A good book but I just couldn’t quite figure out how they became such good friends because the storyline jumped from their first couple encounters to two months later . Adding a few scenes between Cole and London that displayed how their friendship became would have given the story a solid foundation. While I understand his reasoning for keeping his past a secret I still side with London that it’s a big part of who he is and he should have told her rather than finding out the way she did. On the first day of football camp London is trying to help her son get his gear on when a handsome stranger comes to help.
Cole is ealking his son to camp when he sees a beautiful woman who is struggling to help her son.
They soon discover chance meetings and daily talks can lead to so much more. When she realizes he's been keeping something hidden will she get past it or will it be to much?
Exciting with fun and family.

An outstanding and compelling read! The storyline is well-developed, emotionally deep, well written, and relatable. It is drama-filled, funny, and witty; a fun fast pace page-turner that is intriguing with some ups and downs. Amazing characters; they are deep, strong, and just perfect for each other; the chemistry between them is instant, intense, and hot; their sex scenes are hot and descriptive. Quite an enjoyable read and is strongly recommended.

Loved this book! Football star meets single mom. London and Cole have boys in the same footfall camp. They spent two months becoming friends and when the camp is over Cole finally asks London out! Little does she know he’s a superstar football player not the math teacher/high school football couch she thought he was.

She will have to fight all that she has to get over the lie he tells so they can find their happy ending.

London has spent all of her son's life as a single mum. Relationships have for one reason or another never worked for her - and at 33, she is beginning to wonder if there will ever be the right man for her. When she meets Cole at football cap, she knows she likes him - and he seems to like her - but he has a secret - and he has lied to her - will she be able to move past it?

What a great story. Cole meets London when her son starts football training. What he doesn't tell her is that he is a recently retired NFL star player. She doesn't follow football so has no idea. They are both single parents, Alex is Cole's 16 year old son and Justin is London's 15 year old son. The two sons add some real comedy along the way as the relationship between their parents develops. Some real hot and steamy moments too. Loved it.

A heartwarming friend to lovers book. Cole Grant hung up his NFL career last year but when he met fellow Football Summer Camp parent London Kennedy to his surprise she didn't know who he was! London was stunned when she found out who Cole really was and the fact that he hadn't told her she couldn't let that go. Will London be able to overcome Cole's past to make love work for them?
Such a great read.

3.5 stars Very good contemporary football type romance. London is a single mom who has struggled when it comes to romance while raising her now teenage son. Cole recently retired from football and wants a life for he and his teenage son. London has no idea who Cole is but wants her son to learn about teamwork. The author developed the characters and storyline well but the story slows at times. I received a complementary copy of this book via Booksprout and chose to write a review.

This is a beautiful love story that will captivate you from the first page.
London: single mother of a 16 year old boy.
Cole: a single father/teacher of a 16-17 year old boy. Both attend football camp this is where our two meet. The chemistry between London and Cole is tangible, both have been hurt before so they are very wary of each other. Both have secrets but even so a friendship develops and then turns into something more.
Will these two get their HEA????

I enjoyed reading this book, we get a different romance spin in that both characters have lived previous lives. London and Cole are both currently single and looking after their teenage sons. They actually meet at their son's football camp. It is a sweet story of two people just wanting to get to know one another for who they are and not their reputations.

Delightful Sports Romance!
Sweet and steamy romance between author London Kennedy, single mom, and Cole Grant, High School math teacher and football coach. Cole tried to hide he’s famous NFL Super Bowl champion with interesting consequences. A great combination of funny, warm characters-especially their sassy teenagers-and realistic adult storyline with hilarious HEA. Enjoy!

Um...

Just an OK read. Grammar and proofreading errors were throughout this book as well.

The typical "football player" who just retired and is now coaching high school football story. The longer he avoids telling the truth about his celebrity to the woman he falls in love with, the worse the outcome will be.

But the author just slims over his deceit. It was uneventful.

I thought this was a sweet story about Cole, a football legend and the woman he falls for. London is a single mom looking for her own HEA. I liked how their story unfolded to include the advice they both received from their teenage sons. If you are a fan of friends to lovers stories, you will for sure like this one
