This is a wonderfully imaginative tale, I have really enjoyed reading this one. A first time author for me but I’m definitely hoping to come across more books.
This has a beautiful and eloquent writing style, the beginning of the book gives enough suspense that as a reader you have to read on. I love anything fairy tale related and this has a hint of paranormal which has made it extremely interesting.
I love the crossovers in the book, definitely kept my attention and made me want to keep reading.

I love the retelling of a classic story set in current days.

Ellie, Everlasting is a wonderfully imaginative tale. There is a lot of crossover between Earth, Neverland, and Heaven. We follow many of our favorite characters from Peter Pan in this delightful tale from Isobel Scheck.

Yes, there is some violence, including Ellie’s murder which sends her to Neverland where she falls in love with Peter. However, it is not graphic and is crucial to the storyline. The same can be said for the LGBTQ mentions in the book. They are handled in a simple, matter-of-fact way. The characters are well-written and have nice depth of emotion.

It is fun to see the classic Pan, Hook, and Tinkerbell portrayed in modern times. If you enjoy an imaginative fairytale, you will love this book.

I received a review copy of this book. The above review is my honest opinion.

I am still reading this book but it has been so good I just have to leave a review of what I have read so far. I love how the author has put a paranormal twist on a beloved fairy tale. I love how two of the main characters were in a lesbian relationship and all the other characters were okay and accepting of this. As a member of the LGBTQA+ community, this made my day. I do have to say this book is throwing me on an emotional roller coaster of emotions. There are so many parts in this book where I cried or smiled or cringed at what was happening. It is so well written. I expect great things from this author.

I will update this review when I get to the end of the story.
