bane's second poetry book 'seasons' is separated into two parts with two chapters each; the ending(autumn and winter) and the beginning(spring and summer). the ending deals with topics such as dark thoughts, melancholy, nostalgia, the lack of self-love, being haunted by the past. on the other hand, the beginning is filled with poems about love, growth, happiness, inspiration taken from nature and finding one's purpose.
Bane is quickly holding a special place in my heart as one of my favorite modern poets. After reading their debut book, Nights By The Lamp Posts, I knew I needed to get my hands on more. My favorite poem in their latest collection, Seasons, was probably the title poem or Paris, which I swooned over and read multiple times. Eagerly awaiting the release of the next Bane poetry collection; an artist for true romantics.
