Finding her Vikings is the second instalment of Skye MacKinnon’s Norsemen Academy serial, which has Lainie learning more and more at the Time Travel Academy aka T. T. A, especially with Hjalmar and the new addition of the Archivist.
The steam level is upped in this episode and ending has an epic twist, which just makes you crave the next instalment of the Norsemen Academy.
I highly recommend the first two episodes, and can’t wait to see what Skye MacKinnon comes up with next.

*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
Things are starting to get good now after the set-up from the first serial. Lainie is starting to get the hang of things for the most part but is getting antsy at being cooped up. After a run in the halls early one morning she learns a secret that sends her on a journey that leads to one doozy of a cliff hanger ending. All I could think was man do I need more now! Totally loved the development, characters, and secrets so I give it 5/5 stars.

This is a fab second part to this five part serial. It’s a time travel reverse harem full of action, intrigue and hot Vikings and can be a quickie read to fit in on your break! An amazing episode that will leave you speechless!

I can't thank Skye enough for bringing back serials! I know a lot of people might not like them but I think they are awesome and give just the right amount of story when I need it. Now I wouldn't want to read serials for every book, but its nice to pick up a serial part and get through it in a short time frame, in between outings, during work lunches, right before bed, etc.
Ok now to the story. I am intrigued by the Archivist, but not as much as hot Viking teacher! I liked how Skye tied in their storylines, interested to see what happens/how he reacts when he finds out the truth haha. Also, I need his name!! 😂 Loved the twist at the end, yes its definitely a cliffy but part 3 is already out so I have already started haha. Good thing when Skye put out the parts every 2 weeks, not long to wait to know what's next.
Gonna go devour part 3 because I have to know what happens next for our noob time traveler MC and how her teacher reacts to what happened. Keep reading people, it gets better each time ❤️

In this episode, Lainie meets the archivist. He's not super friendly, but he asks for her help to find the thief who took a Viking ring. In exchange, he'll help her figure out some special tips and tricks with time travel that other have to experiment to find out. She is surprised at who the thief is and why the ring was taken. Her hunky teacher is planning to take her back to his time so she can experience a little of Viking culture. What happens on this first time travel for Lainie is both a huge plot twist and a cliffhanger. This episode also gets a little steamy. I found this to be a delightful, quick, short read. I'm definitely curious what's going to be happening next.

We follow the adventures of Lainie in this next installment of the Norsemen Academy.
There are some new interesting characters that are introduced and it left me wondering what will happen.
As per usual when you read a serial - it does end in a real doozy of a cliffhanger. The only consolation is we don't have to wait too long to read the next installment.
This is the perfect series to read when you just have a few minutes to spare.
I know I will probably re-read this when it is all done.
I don't want to give away any spoilers - but I have to know what happens next.

This is the second book in the series. It contains five chapters in which Lainie meets the Archivist. An object, a ring is stolen and she is tasked with finding the thief. She asks Hjalmar and he confesses he stole it for the timetravel for her. He takes her and something goes wrong. This book ends in a cliffhanger. I did ask Skye if the series when complete is going to be published as a complete book. The answer yes it is so if you do not like serials wait until all are finished and read them all in once. I however did really enjoy this book so I recommend it.

A very enjoyable and entertaining read. It is short and easy to read but that is okay because it fits easily into a break, roadtrip or so. I liked the story and the writing style. The author has an amazing art of using the words. It is captivating and caught me from start to finish.
It has a depth that explains things to the reader and the characters has an amazing chemistry. I am not into cliffhangers but I cannot wait for the next part of this series.
A mix of secrets, drama, mystery, emotions and twists. Absolutely entertaining and recommendable.

Lainie is continuing to learn about time travel and about Vikings. During an early morning run she meets the Archivist and agrees to help him locate a missing artifact. She enlists Hjalmar’s aid, which comes in a very unexpected manner. I really like Lainie’s character and attitude and the burgeoning relationship between her and Hjalmar. This is a very short, quick read that really keeps the tension and anticipation up for the next installment. I received an advance copy of this book and voluntarily left a review.

That ending...holy avocado!
I love that this serial is released every two weeks. They are great for a quick read before bed but I must say that, that ending kept me up way later than I should have been!
I absolutely love how this story is being unfolded and that we see more of the relationship with Hjalmar - Hot!
I always love a well done Vikings novel and this one is getting interesting with the time travel to that era.
Can't wait for the next one in two weeks!

Brilliant short Storey, Wonderfully Written and fraustratingly addictive!!!! I Love Skye MacKinnon and really love this storey but am fraustrated as it is being released as a series which means that Skye is proving her self to be the queen of torture as you are left really needing the next book - yes its that addictive. This one also has a doozy of a cliff hanger so if that's not your thing then you are lucky that book 3 is just about to be released.

This is a short but good read that continues seamlessly for book one. Personally I’d prefer it as a longer book but that does not detract from the story. I like the character dynamics and their individual personalities. The story had plenty of twists and turns and packed a large amount of content into short chapters. I look forward to the next instalment!!

An excellent second installment to the "Norsemen Academy" series! Although it is a quick read, the storyline is so well developed and with a depth that sucks you right into it. Mystery and secrets abound, the plot twists are to die for and the steam is just the right amount to satisfy fans of RH. It ends on a cliffhanger, so be prepared. On to the third installment to find out what happens next!!!

Great 👍🏻 2nd book 📖 to the Vikings series 😊 As expected it was short and sweet and that Viking teacher sound yummy 😋 and drool 🤤 worthy😍 Lainie is eager to learn as much as she can .......even if she is crushing on her hot 🥵 teacher 👨🏫.....time travel is a reality quicker than she bargained for ......what will happen ? Well just have to read it to find out ....can’t wait to read book 📖 3 😍

Although I'm not a fan of series format releases, the time travel and Viking aspects of this story were too tempting to resist. Skye MacKinnon's creativity and talent with words has made the annoyance of having to wait for more chapters worth the agony of anticipation.

Oh wow! It’s getting exciting! Lainie is trying to keep up with her studies but is going a little stir crazy being inside al the time and with thousands of questions going through her head, and thinking of a certain Viking. This is so well written, I am learning stuff at the same time as our intrepid heroine, it’s incredibly well written and such a fabulous story

Finding Her Vikings is the second episode in the Norseman Academy serial. In this episode Lainie meets the Archivist, they search for a thief, and so much more is happening in this quick read. This book ends in a cliffhanger but that just left me wanting to read the next episode to find out what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

This part really took off quickly. Poor Lainie, she seems to find herself in spots that she doesn’t want to be in. All she wanted was some time to work off her nervous energy and she finds herself embroiled in a secret mission from the Academy’s Archivist. But when she solves the mission, she ends up with Hjalmar keeping his promise. What an ending!! Starting book 3, glad I didn’t have to wait.

Annoying but exciting
These short novellas are a bit annoying but the story is exciting. Lainie is attracted to the Archivist and Hjalmar. Everything is going very quickly. I wish there were more details and I hope the next book explains more.

omg!!! SKYE! She's killing me lol the MC is tasked with finding a Viking ring, but she soon finds out who took it. Then the cliffhanger of all cliffhangers! I'm already ready for serial #3!
