*** 5 Stars for a great M/M series ***

This was a perfect ending to Tad and Scott's story.
It's a short read( only about 90 mins) but really enjoyable.
I have loved these two from the start and with so many continuing stories I do tend to get a bit bored waiting for the next one but not here.
The first book was when I was just getting into M/M books and what an indroduction!!
Tad is still a bit awkward but oh so sweet and Scott is as sexy as ever.
I loved getting Scott's POV in this one.
Just the right amount of kink for me and the sex scenes....well,these boys are just delicious together!!
I am really looking forward to Max and Sean's book and it was great getting a glimpse into Max's mind at the end.And I just adore Sean already!!

I put off reading this last book in the series because I am a greedy romantic, and did not want to say goodbye to these characters. When I finally finished this book, it was with a smile and a happy sigh. This was such a fun, well-written, erotica-with-a-heart series.

Oh how I love me a good epilogue.
Take away message. Holy freaking hell, hot as all get out erotica that has a really good emotional progression for Tad who identifies as straight until a fateful night that brings down all his barriers and makes him question everything he knows about himself. Intersperse this with detailed, extensive, scorching scenes about his slow unraveling by the oh so delicious Scott, and I’m not complaining one bit.
Peppered with bdsm elements just in case you’re interested or not, books 1, 2, and 6 are the most heavy if you need to know.
This will leave you with a wonderful happy glow that things are all good with Tad and Scott with the additional bonus of a teaser regarding Scott’s roommate Max, and his story with Sean, which will for sure be BDSM heavy for the reader who loves that sort of thing!

What seemingly started out as kinky PWP, Up-Ending Tad ultimately developed into a really remarkable series, one that brought all the feels between young couple Tad and Scott, while also consistently delivering inferno levels of M/M book sex.
In this final instalment, Tad and Scott are finally settling into coupledom, being together openly and embracing all those deeper feelings they’ve been trying to tame for way too long. Their love is strong and their outlook on a happy future is even stronger.
It was also fun to finally get a turn through Scott’s mind with a brief POV switch chapter, which just goes to show how deeply Tad is loved and wanted, and just how perv-tastic Scott really is...if there were still any doubts.
I really enjoyed following Tad through his erotic journey of self-discovery and I’m glad in the end he got his very, very happy ending with his kinky man. Tad and Scott will definitely be hard to forget. <3

Was I wrong of me to expect a little more? Well, it's clear that this series is pure erotica and all about sex, but I would have expected a bit more of a final plot. Somehow, I don't know. Maybe something like a proper conclusion, so no cheesy romantic stuff like marriage plans, that wouldn't fit after all. But a bit more than "just" the next date and looking for time slots together next week ...
Well, of course this final part was also super hot, no question about it.
I especially love the particularly low-key declarations of love, it was fun, very much in the style of Tad and Scott.
My overall opinion of the series? I love the first book the most. It was so refreshingly different and so insanely hot that nothing can really top it.
In retrospect, this series drags a lot and I would never have been able to read this if it had been in one book. So cleverly done by the author and I'm also quite glad that I took such long breaks between the individual books, so it didn't get too boring, because basically every book is almost the same and there isn't much development.
This sounds way more negative than I mean it to be. Anyway, Tad and Scott will have a permanent place in my heart, they are just too funny and have a lot of special things going for them.
Well, of course this final part was also super hot, no question about it.

An incredible journey of erotic M/M discovery for Tad and Scott. Tad and Scott give the world their first PDA on campus, and it's so great. They get home to find Sean waiting to see Max, and they all go in. Tad and Scott play pool and end up in a breathtaking paddling and make-out session, leading to the bedroom. Gosh, you can feel the deep emotions they give off.
These guys are terrific together, and we get to feel like we are right there watching everything they do.
(Scott teaching Tad to give a blow job should be required reading for every female, too !! LOL ! )
It is erotic, sensual, fiery, and passionate, deliciously hot. Tad tells Scott he figured out how every step of their closeness and exploring has made him see "the light" as to why he was the way he was, and why he is now different. The tough walls all tumbled down.

Warning: review for the whole series, not only book 6. There may be spoilers if you haven’t read one or the other book!
Why the heck did I enjoy this 6-book series so much?
A fair question considering that this is labelled as ‘erotica’. With its high sex content this shouldn’t have appealed to me as much as it did.
But it did. And more.
Darn. And then I had to keep thinking about it.
Which now has resulted in the longestrambling review I’ve written for ages.
Please feel free to skip, or take a coffee break in the middle, or just shake your head and ignore me! I totally get it!
Why so many stars for what seems a lot of sex and not so much plot?
1. To me it isn’t porn, but highly erotic, sensual sex. The author is a master at expressing and describing sex scenes in detail. Hardly ever have I read anything that involved and intense. And at times chuckle-worthy ...
2. And that’s due to the way Scott and Tad interact. Even in book 1 when we don’t have any idea where all this is going and the scene in the dungeon room could come across as marginally scary and somewhat dub con, the talking during their sex session gives this a totally different slant. These guys banter and Scott teases, and Tad responds in his inimitable way – something that gets better and better the longer they hang out.
3. With it comes also a certain playfulness in what they do. I loved their little challenges, their teasing and the joy sex gives them. Scott creates the room for Tad to explore who he is and what he likes. Without shame or judgement.
Also loved that the reason their pleasure is so intense and mind-blowing is because they click – on all levels.
4. Some of you will wonder about the BDSM. Most of it (between Scott and Tad) is in book 1, and even then, it doesn’t go beyond bondage and flogging.
Being in Tad’s POV I didn’t know Scott then, but I always had the impression that he is sexually super skilled, extremely considerate of his partner and totally trustworthy. He’s always looking out for Tad, even when he pushes him to try new things Tad cringes about to start with. Things Tad always enjoys in the end (and that’s putting it mildly).
5. All of Tad’s firsts are as hot as hell. And, brilliantly, there are some firsts for expert Scott, too!
With so much sex, is there actual room for romance?
There is. It’s clear right from the beginning that Scott and Tad gel. In book 1 mainly on the sexual level, but from book 2 onwards when they get to know each other, on many other levels, too.
For me their attraction is expressed a lot through sex. (Please no exasperated sighing yet! 😊) The way Scott adores Tad, the way Tad reacts to anything Scott does to him and with him, the way they touch and feel and hold each other. It works.
And it is moving because we can see how it helps Tad to come to terms with the truth – that he is a gay man who’s attracted to another guy. And that he loves all the kink Scott offers.
Sex means more here because the connection, the spark, the chemistry between the two men are tangible all the time.
I particularly enjoyed how the power exchange between them slowly changes over the six books. From Scott seemingly holding all the cards at the beginning to Tad tipping the scales in the later books to achieve a power equilibrium.
So is there any plot, then?
As the title of the series says, this is about ‘Upending Tad’, and that’s exactly what happens. This is Tad’s journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance.
Which is described by some powerful and explosive sex. If you’re still not convinced that that’s possible … I think Kora Knight thought this through beautifully and planned it meticulously.
Tad’s analogy between his sexual experiences and his coming out process shows you what I mean….
“I see a lot of symbolism (in hindsight). Like the first night we met. That stupid frickin’ wall you have. Its restraints were like all the things holding me back from the truth. Keeping the real me shackled. And that thing you wrapped around my eyes? That was like the blinders I’ve been wearing all my life. (book 1)
And then the initial pain of your flogger. Not so different from how uncomfortable it was to admit how you made me feel. How you worked me up. And how much I loved it.
And God, just like the way the flogging ended… how all the discomfort brought me to this bliss. (book 1)
The night you gave me that killer massage. Your table was like another form of you. A place where I could relax and be. (book 2)
…that third night after working out, when you and me were playing voyeurs in that room? That two-way mirror was kinda like me taking a good hard look at myself. At who I am and what I’m about. What moves me. What makes me tick. The answer to my questions, right in front of my face. YOU are what moves me. YOU make me tick. (book 3)
That night (at the gym). Me finally wrestling with the last of my reservations… and then of course on that mat … when you let me take you … it was like I’d been pinned – shit forced to tap out- to the fact that giving in and letting go was the only way I’d truly win. The only way I’d ever be happy. (book 4)
Must say I was pretty impressed with that little 'summary'.
So why not full 5 stars for the series?
I would understand if someone complained that everything moves a bit on the fast side (we’re talking a couple of months here, I think) and that feelings happens too soon.
However, the intensity of their sexual encounters involves a lot of giving and taking and communicating, something that requires a lot of trust which in turn creates bonds between people.
I would have really liked to hear more about Tad’s coming out extravaganza. Or been there when Tad and Scott meet Tad’s friends or his parents as a couple.
But these are minor niggles indeed!

I thoroughly enjoyed this series:
- the glorious and delicious heat, the lovable MCs.
- Tad’s journey from confusion to clarity, from being lonely to blissfully happy.
- Scott’s genuine and caring personality, his confidence and strength, and ...

This rating is for the series as a whole. I’d say after the first 2 books, you get more emotion and connection outside of the bedroom rather than just them having sex all the time….which don’t get me wrong happens a lot but you feel for both Tad and Scott and their journey.
I am glad we got a snippet of Scott’s POV in this book..but I wanted more haha! Oh well!
I now am going to start Max and Sean’s duology, since we see them a lot at the end of book 6!

With the idea of Tad and Scott being a couple still being so new for both of them, it was endearing to see and feel the emotions swirl in their heads, letting it settle in and be empowered by it.
There's much playfulness to their interaction but it's because that's the kind of people they are, that's the kind of dynamics they have.
Having Scott's POV, it was nice to see both Tad and Scott analyzing their feelings for each other putting them on a more equal footing rather than seeing only Tad being unsettled from it all. As much as this is a lot of firsts for Tad, Tad, as it turns out, also brought out a lot of firsts for Scott.
Tad was his usual bratty sweet self and Scott was his usual sensitive alpha making sure he reads Tad right... *swoon*
This rating is more for the series as a whole. Now I will truly miss these 2!

Serían 2.5 para éste último, porque al menos me ha sorprendido, gracias a Kora por dos cosas, por la escena del billar *wink wink Oli* y por el POV de Scott, que esperaba con ansias.
Toda la serie ha sido on OK read para mi, de ahí las 2 estrellas, pero ya está, no me ha matado. No puedo subir a 3 porque es too much sex...

How does these guys change from bunch of horny people to sweethearts 😂 they were so SWEET in this 😍
I love their dynamic so much like their lovers, but bestfriends too. All the bets, the “dudes” — I kinda like it now and how casual the moments they share, just makes the relationship more adorable rather than them being all sappy. AND THE FLIRTS, MAN 😍 and they are so mature I adore that so much! 🥹🥹 they are like the mid thirties gay dads who just couldn’t care less about work, always hang out for drinks on weekends together, and have like a monthly honeymoons together 🥺❤️
I really lovee their relationship development. As this series focused so much on the lusty and sexy side, I find their love journey was so entertaining and never felt way too porny or boring. I adore them. In conclusion, this is NOT BDSM 😂 like how many people here say it was. They love to fight for dominance, yes. Scott was a strict top, yes. Tad is secretly a vers, yes. There were elements of wanting to dominate and kinks that are presumed in the BDSM community, but just seeing them together and how they resolve and understand each other’s boundaries, it wasn’t bdsm-like. And I adore how good it was portrayed. I usually came across these strict top-bottom rules which are toxic in books, but it was so well-done in here and I love it just too much ❤️

5+++ stars. I absolutely freaking LoVeD it!! Could not have been a better ending for this series. I really loved seeing Tad and Scott's relationship grow and the love these two have for each other. I look forward to catching up to these two in Max and Sean's book. :)

Ugh I'm so happy for Tad, and Scott too, but mainly Tad. They are so happy together. Also, the way the sex scenes are built up here, every other scene in other books seem completely out of the blue. These are so slowly developed, I actually like that. Maybe I should just exclusively read erotica, what do you think?

Grabby Hands, couldn't wait, read it straight through. I ADORE Tad and Scott, and EVERYTHING they get up to....and the 'L' word was mentioned, sighs...puddle of goo time. 5 stars. Oh, and Max and Sean?? Please don't do what I did and assume the story ends at 91% will you?? There is a little snippet about those two crazies...AND I need to know about Breck and Kai...pretty please and thank you??

Afterglow is the final volume in
Kora Knight's Up-Ending Tad Series.
I can't begin to put in words what a great series this.
Kora was brilliant in this book she caught every aspect of their relationship and brought us such a perfect ending to a journey that will forever stay with me.
In previous books we witnessed the relationship between Scott and Tad grow, we had some angst and Tad had to learn to accept his true self and admit that the feelings he had were sincere and how he would learn to deal with them.
Scott was patient he knew how much he wanted Tad but he had to let him grow and finally admit that this was real and it was time to fess up.
This story proved so much it showed us how Tad stood up for what he wanted and didn't look back . It was beautiful I loved how strong he became and watching how Scott managed to fall deeper and get "shy boy" to voice what it was that he wanted.
The sex in this book was so hot, these two are explosive with each other and watching the trust that Tad had with Scott was just the icing on the cake. Tad has opened up so much although he still has that red blushing that Scott so loves, he is more brazen and asks for what he wants and shows new meaning to "Topping from the bottom" and well that just stirs Scott on and we are left reaping the benefits.
The admitted feelings between them both was so heartwarming and I'm missing these two already but...... As you read in the end the excerpt for Max and Sean's book I'm excited that we will still get catch ups on my two favorite guys.
I can't recommend this series enough so if you haven't read it yet run and start from volume one you will not be disappointed.

Disclaimer: I’m horrible at reviewing books that I absolutely love. I always seem to come across like a teenage girl incessantly gushing over her first crush, when in fact I’m a grown woman who should long be over the gushing stage. I LOVE this series! You’ve been warned.
Wow…where do I start? I’ve been jonesing for Tad & Scott’s HEA ever since I finished ‘Bringing It Home’, and make no mistake; I wanted the full on HEA (hearts, cuddles, I love you’s, kink – umm, this is Tad & Scott after all). And I had total faith in Kora Knight to deliver, I mean I really did, but they became MY Tad & Scott…so maybe I started to worry just a tiny bit they wouldn’t get everything I wanted for them or maybe that I was asking for too much. But I worried (though it was just a tiny bit) for nothing, nothing I tell you! *bouncing in my seat* Because they did, they got it ALL AND SO MUCH MORE!!! OMG, OMG, I love this so effing hard! I literally read the last sentence, sighed, and read it all over again with a big stupid a** grin on my face. I don’t even care if that sounds pathetic because this book/series makes me feel ridiculously giddy. Kora Knight brings the heat, kink, and the feels…Oh. My. God, the feels – EVERY TIME!!!!

So instead of reviewing each of these separately I'm going to just review them as a whole. These two are smoking hot together. There's not a big storyline and through all but the last book we only get Tad's POV. I do have to say I was getting tired of being inside his head. These books definitely would've benefited from dual POV. Although I never doubted the way Scott felt for Tad. He pretty much wore his heart on his sleeve which he never did for anyone in the past. It was good to see Tad realize what pretty much everyone else in his life already knew. I mean the guy never really enjoyed sex with women. One look from Scott and a few words with his voice and Tad was a panting mess. Um get a clue "dude". I absolutely adored Scott. He always let Tad set the pace of their relationship while still pushing Tad out of his comfort zone. The final book was amazing though seeing them finally hit their stride and become an us. I can't wait for Max and Sean's book and excited to see more of these two. All in all a smutty, coming out, and finding that special person read. And I say smutty because trust me, these books do not lack in the sex department.

Oh it was so good! I didn't want to finish it because I didn't want to see Tad and Scott's story end... I love those guys. It was as amazing as I knew it would be. This series is going to the top of my re-read list.

Omg this whole series was so good!
This here was the right amount of romance combined with really freaking hot and kinky scenes, I’m actually feral! Also those two guys had an amazing character development uhhh they went from horny guys to absolutely sweet and adorable boyfriends🥹.
I love Scott and Tad so much and their ending was perfect!
Those two guys will continue living in my heart, that’s for sure🤧💕

I couldn’t get my fingers to type quick enough when the signups went out for ARCs of this last instalment. Then I had to patiently wait (not a phrase associated with me!) to see if I was lucky enough to receive a copy. I may have squealed and happy danced when it hit my kindle.
As a result my hormones are on overload after finishing it. Sappy grin Teary-eyed gooey mess All is right with the world!!
I honestly don’t think Kora could’ve written a more perfect ending for all the faithful followers of Tad and Scott’s journey. I felt like a very naughty voyeur as the hotness factor is off the scale!! These boys have some imagination ;) Beware of your ereader overheating!! Next I felt as if I was intruding on private and heartfelt moments.
These two stole my heart from the very beginning and I don’t want it to be over. Cue said waterworks when Tad says:
“Thank you. For finding me. And waking me up.”
I LOVE you Kora and can’t wait to see what’s next. Please tell me Max is up next?

ABSOULUTELY LOVED IT!!!! Aaaarrrrgggh my boys Scott and Tad are back and they certainly didn't disappoint....
From the start of this series, I have loved both characters, through Tad's sexual awakening, his thought process, the emotional journey he's been on, the obstacles they have both faced separately and together have been absolutely captivating.
Do not even get me started on the sex scenes, they are all 'off the charts' smoking hot.... PHEW!!!! Seriously well written and the chemistry between them both is envious.
The connection they have and trust they place in each other is endearing and leaves me with a happy heart that their future together will be fun and interesting and amazing with a whole heap of kinky naughtiness.
Kora's writing style is brilliant and 'on point'.... I adore her as an Author and I can't wait for the other characters stories.

Perfect ending for Tad and Scott's saga. All six (6!!) novellas detailing Tad and Scott's hot journey of discovery have led to this moment and Kora Knight did her boys justice. Shy boy and Pervy Scott were at their finest with the added element of being on the other side of the angst of self-discovery. You know how satisfying a great epilogue is at the end of your favorite book? That is Afterglow - the most satisfying conclusion that lets us roll around in the awesome that is this couple for a little bit longer.
Excitingly, it looked like two other books for characters in this world were set up a little bit more here. Max and Sean's teaser after the end of Afterglow was heartbreaking but intriguing -- I can't wait to read what is coming next for this crew.
